Basically, I love 80s Mania Wrestling. And I hope to love 80s Mania Wrestling: 90s Extreme. But there are things I wish were in the 80s edition, and hope for in the 90s version.
1) The ability to have characters increse and decrease there ranks. A curtain jerker doesn't have to remain a curtain jerker if there popularity is high enough. Or be warned when a main eventer slips to midcard status via overuse or under use.
2) The ability to turn a face into a heel, and vica-versa. Or, at least most of them having both face and heel versions.

Royal Rumbles would be cool ! Yes. "Royal Rumbles" are good, but I think WWE owns thoes two words together, so they need to call it something else. |

Another thing I want to see is one wrestler with multiple tag team memberships. In fact, why limit yourself to just one wrestler with multiple tag team options.
Another option is the "Generic Tag Team" and "Generic Rivalry". For thoes who want the boost such things provide, but for characters who don't have them.

I don't think there are any tag team feuds, and that would be nice. They were a huge part of 80s wrestling. Midnight Express/Rock and Roll Express, Freebirds/Road Warriors or Von Erichs, Rockers/Hart Foundation, etc.
A Flavor card for getting color in a match would be great, especially considering there being more gimmick matches.

What i really would love to have is costum matches. Like i get to choose what match takes place on a day. We can do that already, with tag team or single matches and certain cards which cost $50 per match (or $100 per Lumberjack Match). And tons more speciality matches in the upcoming 90's game. |

I would like a masked insanity card where a alter ego can be used twice. Also since it is an off shoot of COTG why not Rigel Rumble

One thing I think would definitely be cool is since obviously Chet will be in the 90's update, I'd like to see Jessie as well but instead of just following the typical Marty Jannetty route it would be cool if he evolved into more of a Raven character( he's been a favorite of mines forever) where after Chet turns and becomes a big star Jessie becomes depressed and turns into a misfit cult leader who has a few followers as well like a returning Keith Blood and the sort.

Maybe age some of these guys and convert them to managers/commissioners/curtain jerkers who mature into top guys? IMO, the strength of the characters are what gives the series it's unique personality. Also, if it's the 90s, then stable affiliations should factor prominently into the push number of the underneath guys. Cheap quick wins by guys with "go-away heat" and double DQS to set up more of the former seemed to be a huge part of 90s wrestling. I am really enjoying the attention to detail with the products and concepts behind sponsorships... as a fan who watched one wrestling program while simultaneously taping the other, I have a certain fondness for the types of ad spots I remember seeing...
castrol synthetic motor oil, 1-800-COLLECT, slim jim, snickers, stridex... so many of those became a part of the experience for me. Just a thought. love the game and want to help get the word out and make it better in any small way possible.

I'm interested to see what the new Exotic Rick will look like, I assume he'll be aligned with Chet Skye, Vladimir the Cruel, and his new Amazonian bodyguard.
