There's been some arguments on if there will still be characters based on Real life wrestlers.(I personally prefer the references, it feels like that's a big part of your games) Could you settle this, will those references still be a thing?

I know I'm not Mr. Fantasy, and I'm curious too, but I can't imagine they would stop. It has been a very big part of their games, and there have been plenty of wrestlers to parody over the last 20 years (or even the last 5) that they're kinda spoiled for choice. Either way, I'm sure it'll be a great game.

It is a win/win situation for me if the parodies stop I have won the argument, if they continue then there are still parodies

I mean we know for sure there will be at least some parodies, because Monstro is a clear parody. But either way, I'm playing the game. |

Carolina Strutter has to be Jet Set Strutter's daughter, based on Charlotte Flair. But it seems like there's another influence in there too that I just can't put my finger on atm. |

Carolina Strutter has to be Jet Set Strutter's daughter, based on Charlotte Flair. But it seems like there's another influence in there too that I just can't put my finger on atm. some have said sunny, but I'm not sure, since she isn't modern. Also, I wouldn't say your theory is out the window. I think we could also get original characters, because son of Samoa doesn't seem like he's based on anyone. Personally I hope for a mix of parodies & original characters. |

He didn't say "stop looking for parodies" but gave us this cryptic message: You long time players still on that " this guy is supposed to be that guy" thing? tsk tsk Before he released message I had an idea that MMW might be using completely original, non-inspired by real wrestlers/pop culture, as did apparently a few others it seems. It was what Mr. Fantasy said, mixed with some of our own hypothesis that has led to a mix up of what was actually said. Funny side note: my phone kept trying to auto correct "pop culture" to say "poo culture" 🤣 |
