In this thread I’ll be doing challenges and other Fed related stuff. As of now I’m doing 2mega’s challenge of using only real life wrestlers for 20 years. I just completed 1999 with 210,000 cash but spent 200,000 for Undermaster’s legend card which will come in handy for 1990s. Some ideas I’ve thought are taking challenges from followers from the Instagram page. Or taking some suggested from the proboards like making so and so champs for this long. I will also put in this thread a thing I’d like to call “How I’d book” which will be like how I would book a feud from the game or the formation of a tag team in the game but how the story plays out in my head. This is also where I’ll keep all my Fed stuff instead of having separate threads for all of them. Fantasy Fed and IWF will be separated though due to Fantasy Fed being an exclusive thread only and IWF only going on for a certain amount of time. For my first challenge I’ll be posting it by the months. Stay tuned in for more!

January 1980:
Okay this first few months will be putting the title on the right people which was surprisingly easy. I’m going with the simple P4Vs for now. So this month I went Super Duper Showdown and got a 3 Star P4V with 15,640 cash with it. My champions are Dr.B(world), Wall Street(tag team), Exotic Rick(TV), Chameleon Kid(cruiserweight), and Princess Starbright is still women’s. Some problems right away are I only have 4 openers(Neon Express, Yuppie VP, and Papa Chopper). My mid carder scene isn’t that good either with only having 8 options. I do have 3 legends and a good amount of Main Eventers so it will be okay it’s just opened and mid-carder matches will be tough for now until I get more.

February 1980:
Again I stayed with the shorter P4V at Valentine’s Day Massacre but only getting around 7000 cash. I did get a title change with the TV title switching hands to Juan Tijuana. I forgot to mention that all the cruiserweights are faces so it’s kinda hard to put on good matches with them.

March 1980:
Instead of doing March Madness, which I was debating, I used Shamrock Skirmish where I got around 12,000 cash. The TV title switched hands again this time to Foil Yuppie VP and the world title changed hands to Lazer. I had a 4 star match between A-List and Big Money with the Wrestling Mana Feud Card applied.

April 1980:
So after adding The Insectoids, The Shmuck, and Ruffules I did found it kept it more fresh. Fireball is our new tv champion and Foil Mark Bugg is the new cruiserweight champion. I got 10,000 cash from the simple version of Champ Clash. I also got Fireball’s merch card and I’m close to getting Mad Arab. Mercenary might be thrown in more matches due to him having 2 skill points left.

May 1980:
So finally I didn’t have the TV title switch hands after a month after Fireball successfully defended it against Exotic Rick and Papa Chopper. Although Wall Street did lose their titles in a tag team submission match against Gepetto Rocco and Juan Tijuana who I like to call Red, White, and Green. Monster MAYhem got me 15,695 cash which was also a 3 star show. So far I’ve really been enjoying these shorter P4Vs and I’ve been able to book really good shows that bring in a lot of money.

June 1980:
My shop refreshed and I luckily got O’Hooligan(80s) so I was able to get all his 3 feuds right away. The P4V fell short and I only got a little over 6,000 cash. I do have foil Fireball in my shop who I plan on buying. Red, White, and Green successfully defended their titles and Jet Set Strutter won the World title from Lazer at the P4V which I applied the Basic Canle Bash feud card to.

July 1980:
So I gave Lazer a rematch at Red, White, and Blue Bash which ended in a double disqualification. I did get 10,000 cash and put on two 3 star shows in this month however. Having O’Hooligan is way better then expected because I forgot he’s a cruiserweight. So I basically gave him the belt because he has a good skill level and he’s the only heel cruiserweight as of now(I don’t know if there is any others in the 80s). Gepetto Rocco has a 6 win streak and on the first week he defeated both Valedictorian and O’Hooligan then successfully defended the tag belts not just once but twice. Fireball was also someone who defended the title twice but on Week 2 I put him and JSS against each other as a champ vs champ match and got a dud and a time limit draw. I do however look forward to what August has in stored.

August 1980:
Gepetto Rocco and Juan Tijuana are our new longest tag team champs and are the longest title holders as of now due to Fireball losing the TV title to Doberman Duke on Week 3. However Duke did have a successful defense the next show at Summer Smash against Mad Arab who I unlocked the merch card for. This P4V I gave Dr. B(face) a title shot after he has been out due to an injury and he put on a 3 star match against world champ Jet Set Strutter. Overall the P4V was good with a 3 star rating and 10,000 cash in the bank. I’m kinda grinding through right now to get Foil Fireball.

September 1980:
So Red, White and Green lost their tag titles to The Executers who I have a title shot after they defeated Neon Express in a 3 star match the show before. Also Doberman Duke lost the TV title on Week 1 against Mr. Tycoon. Mr. Tycoon and Ruffules however did put on a 4 star match for the title on Week 3 with their feud card applied. I did get 15,000 from this month’s P4V. Jet faces Terry Van Winkle(the only Van Winkle I have so far). I do now have enough for Foil Fireball though. So yeah

How I Would Book: Money Talks

Background info: The year is 1989, Mr. Tycoon is beyond past his prime with his latest big feud being against Ruffules. The future veteran is a multi time champion. He’s gone against top names in the business such as Valedictorian in the famous March Madness Finals, he’s been World Champion, he’s held the tag titles numerous times. He’s basically done everything that a career could have...except he hasn’t became a grand slam champion yet. A title that is more prestigious than any belt and puts your name in the record books as only few have done it. The only title he hasn’t won yet, is the TV title. And you might be asking who is holding this title at the moment. Well it’s non other than the paisley Texan rassler Average Guy who is in the midst of their TV title reign.

The Feud: It’s Week 2 of November and Mr. Tycoon comes out to the ring and challenges Average Guy for the TV title. Average Guy comes out and accepts the challenge and it’s set that next week they will face off for the title. It’s now Week 3 of November and Average Guy comes out first. He warms up in the ring waiting for his challenger to come out. And Mr. Tycoon does come out but has a mic in his hands. As he walks down the ramp and into the ring, he begins to negotiate with Average Guy. Offering him tons of thousands of dollars for some belt. But Average Guy doesn’t wrestle for money, he does it to entertain the fans in the crowd. He hits Mr. Tycoon with the belt then an Average Elbow and covers for the pin. The ref signals to start the match and counts the pin. Average Guy retains. At Survival of the Fittest before the final 6-man elimination match, the cameras cut to backstage where we see Average Guy laid out and Wall Street continuously beating the absolute shit out of him. Mr. Tycoon sees the camera and grabs it. He then points it at the bruised up piece of meat that was formally Average Guy. He then has Yuppie VP take the camera as he grabs the TV title and pulls out a roll of cash. Mr. Tycoon puts the cash in Average Guy’s cap and runs off with the title. The next show Mr. Tycoon “defends” the title against Jobber Joe who he makes quick work of after hitting the Money Maker. It’s Week 2 and Mr. Tycoon comes to the ring with a mic and brags about being one of the greatest wrestlers by winning all the titles and facing top names but before he could finish boasting, Average Guy returns from the crowd with tape wrapped around him. He then delivers a Average Elbow as payback to Mr. Tycoon but before he could do anymore damage, Mr. Tycoon scurried away to the back as the faces cheered for the return of their hero. Next week’s show Average Guy comes out and this time challenges Mr. Tycoon for a one on one in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. But not only is it for the title, but it’s Mr. Tycoon’s career is also on the line. Everyone knows Mr. Tycoon is past his prime and by now should plan to retire. He’s done everything he possibly could do. But Mr. Tycoon thinks he still has it in him to wrestle for a few more years. He comes out to object but Mr. Fantasy comes out(the commissioner) and grants Average Guy’s wish. Mr. Tycoon tries to offer money but Mr. Fantasy shoes away his offer for the fact that Fantasy is a millionaire. So it’s settled, at Beyond the Wardome in 1989 it will be Average Guy vs Mr. Tycoon in a Falls Count Anywhere Match with Mr. Tycoon’s Career and Average Guy’s Title on the line.

The Final Match: These two wrestlers battle all throughout the arena, putting on a spectacular match for the fans. With Average Guy using the aid of the fans to land devastating blows to Mr. Tycoon. On the other side though, Mr. Tycoon mocked the fans while he made Average Guy cry in pain. It finally ends with the two wrestlers on top of the stage and Mr. Tycoon grabs the TV title and nails Average Guy with it right on head. He then locks in a Money Maker. But Average Guy counters the Money Maker by jumping off the ramp. He then crawls his way back up the stage and signals an Average Elbow to an exhausted Mr. Tycoon. Average Guy grabs the TV title and jumps off with it under his elbow. Landing the Average Elbow right on Mr. Tycoon’s ribs. He pins him and gets the three count. The fans voice their opinion with cheers. Average Guy slowly sits up and is given his title. He goes to stand up but it’s obvious that he’s sustained some form of injury after hitting that risky spot. He limps towards the ramp where he lays back on for support. He gestures to the ref to hand him a mic. The fans being to grown silent as they wait for what Average Guy has to say. As he is trying to catch his breathe, he gives a small farewell to Mr. Tycoon who is now being helped up by refs and officials. Average Guy gives his former enemy a hug goodbye. He then raises Mr. Tycoon’s hand and says into the mic “This is your real Television Champion” and fans cheer on. You could see in Mr. Tycoon’s eyes he’s tearing up. Him and Average Guy have one last hug and walk up the ramp together with the fans now cheering for who was formally the biggest heel of all time.

The Aftermath: Backstage Mr. Tycoon is greeted by both friends and past foes. Friends such as Yuppie VP and Pierre the Enormous, even Jupiter came back to watch his former partner. Foes such as Valedictorian, Dude Brohan, and Ruffules come to say their final goodbyes. Mr. Tycoon might have started in the business as the cocky heel with tons of money but ended his career being known as a man who’s done it all. Although this wouldn’t be the last of Mr. Tycoon for in later years he would take up managing after missing the action from wrestling but this was for such his last match ever and no one will forget his name.

October 1980:
After a day of not playing I finally went back to playing which I was in the middle of October. I got 10,000 for this months P4V. I realized I made a mistake in a past post about saying O’Hooligan is the only heel cruiserweight. When there is The Shmuck. But my shop refreshed and I was able to get the female Schmuck so that means I’ll finally be able to apply the challenge to female matches.
