Hailing from Seattle, Wa at the Golden Palace, CCW returns to its home for its second show, Sports Entertainment, of the new decade. The new owner, Orphan Blackout stands in the ring and announces a World Title Match for the main event to compliment the Women’s Title Match previously announced. The crowd is hype to see two title matches.
The camera cuts to backstage where The Schmuck and two familiar but freshly changed looks in Dizzy Lix and Ezekiel are congregating. They see the Beat Em Up bros and proceed to whoop their asses before officials could intervene. ****
First match Frontstreet vs Magnifico, Magnus Muscle and Doberman Duke A whole host of debuts in this one as Magnifico and Magnus Muscle bring their Luchador sensibilities as they team up with Duke who seems to be lost without his partner Denny. Avery comes out singing, revealing his two partners MC Frostee and Romeo to complete this lovely trios match. The luchadors and tag team veteran Duke provide too much for the rookies, with Duke scoring the pinfall. **
Second Match 2Zap vs Notorious BB The musical theme continues as former tag partners debut new looks and a meaner streak. 2Zap had some issues to work out with his former partner proving to be victorious, **
Mic segment The lights go out and green smoke arises from the ring, a rotund sickly man grabs a mic and welcomes the crowd to his Mausoleum. He introduces his guests, Troglo, hideously disfigured now if the mask is anything to go by and a newcomer from across the Pacific Ocean, Sumo San. Mort eyes them up and down and neither gets scared though Troglo screams back at Mort. ***
Women’s Title Match Gorgon Tokoro (C) vs Aurora Sumo San stays ring side to watch his country woman, Gorgon, take on her longtime PNPW rival Aurora. In a match highlighting how much these women know each other, they go for a long time before Gorgon delivers the blow and retains her championship. Gorgon grabs the Mic, cuts a promo on who she wants next now that she’s put down Aurora again. Valkyrie comes out and jumps Gorgon from behind, setting up what looks like to be an interesting feud to come. ***
World Title Match Jet Set Strutter (C) vs Lazer Lazer comes out to the highest cheers, having been the fan favorite for a long time including a 3 time World Champ, 3 time Tag Champ and 2 time TV Champ. He’s been feuding with JSS for most of the last decade unable to overcome that Woooo that Strutter brings. They go 57 minutes with them knowing each other more than they know they’re wives. Strutter retains but holds up Lazer’s arm after the match in a celebration of their rivalry. Is this a turn for JSS? ****

First Match Smooth Criminals vs Secret Agents Surf music hits as Ezekiel comes out with his new tag partner, a suited up Pelvis Las Vegas, now just referred to as Vegas. Ezekiel grabs the mic, runs down the crowd when their opponents 60s hippy music mixed with some scary sounds hit the ring. Herman the Nerd has a purple suit which stands in contrast to his new spooky partner, Detective X. The heels quickly take control and Ezekiel takes out Herman injuring him for a few weeks. Heels win ***
Second Match Slammer Johnson vs Tennis Pro These two sports based wrestlers are long time members of the scene squaring off numerous times. Slugger gets the hr and takes home the win keeping the crowd happy. ***
The video screen lights up as the camera cuts to two dudes in a basement rocking out. The black haired one introduces their guests, rock aficionados Ronny Believer and Dirk Dungeon. They all have a great time with Ronny and Dirk rocking out to some sweet tunes. ***
Third Match Big Rig and Chicano vs Sumo San and Troglo w Mort Ician Chicano and Big Rig have been seen hanging with VTC backstage after Big Rig and VTC met in their debut match. Chicano liked what he saw of the two and the veteran said teaming with them just clicked. Sumo and Troglo were put together by Mort after he loved their performance on his show last week. The Click come to the ring first high fiving little kids but running down a few of the drunk men hurling insults. The lights flicker and Mort comes out with his new disciples behind him looking ready to go. Fists start flying and the brawl seems to bore the crowd expecting better things from former world champ Chicano. Neither veteran quite has a handle on their rookie partners but the Click manage to win after Chicano hits the straight edge on Troglo. *
The screen illuminates again as the camera flashes and catches a familiar voice, welllll helloooo. The crowd starts booing as they hate Cupid. Cupid introduces his guests as Quan comes out first, Cesar Sleeze, now a solo act second, and finally to scare the kids, Killer Klown. He gives a hey kids and the audience screams. Quan grabs the mic to tell Cupid that him and his brother are here to stay and are coming for those tag titles. Cupid presses Sleeze on his band breaking up but Sleeze tells him solo is better. Killer Klown just laughs and hands them all a balloon.
Cutting back for the main event, the commentary team of Memphis Prince and John Rogers appear to be shaken up by Killer Klown. They recover as they hype the main event, a ladder match for the TV title. A young high flyer trained by his uncles, Mad Arab and Big Thuggee, has been put in this ladder match after the commissioner watched him jump off a balcony at a house show. Main Event Ninja Shadow vs Suicide They lock up in the ring as Ninja Shadow delivers a few kicks to Suicide’s face. He dives to the outside and finds the ladder being guarded by one of the refs. He grabs it and hauls into the ring looking for a quick victory. Him and Suicide deliver back and forth blows with Suicide gaining the upper hand, he goes up the ladder, grabs the title and then launches himself onto a crestfallen Ninja. *

CCW presents its first PPV of the new era. Live from the Tacoma Dome (Olympus Colosseum), Battle Royal debuts as the January PPV! Memphis Prince and JR open the show running down the card for the home audience while discussing the new direction and ownership of CCW. Memphis Prince announces his intention to join the BR and go for the title opportunity. His battles with current Champ JSS is well know to this crowd. JR, in all of his Southern charm, asks the Prince if he’s sure.
First Match Lazer and Valedictorian (C) vs The Click (Big Rig and Chicano) The lights go out and lights, smoke, and pyro illuminate current title holders Lazer and Valedictorian as they come out to a raucous crowd. The fan favorites have been through 28 title defenses, holding the title for almost three years. The Click comes out next with mixed reactions. JR reminds the home audience that the Click earned their shots last week. The teams lock up with some back and forth action. Unfortunately it didn’t click for them as Lazer pins Big Rig. Champs retain. The Click are joined by VTC as he helps them to the back as the Champs celebrate. This team could still be the future. *

Second Match Gorgon Tokoro vs Aurora Gorgon demands that Aurora and Valkyrie come out now. Gorgon feels disrespected and wants one of them now. Aurora jumps in first. Ref rings the bell. The second BR video package introduces fresh faces to CCW, some new gimmicks and some newer featured players: Orion Northstar and Darth Mauler (voice over calls them worst enemies); Magnus Muscle; VTC with the Click; Cabb; The Doberman; Great Ginzu
The package fades to backstage as Al interviews Smooth Criminals. Vegas has a glowing briefcase as they run down the tag teams they are going after. Specifically Damage Control. Ezekiel tries to grab the mic from Al as Al throws it back to the announce team. ***
Third Match Jet Set Strutter (C) vs Dickie Thunderbird Dickie enters first and is warming up in the ring when JSS comes out to the audience almost cheering for him. These two combatants are long time rivals and have delivered some of the best matches in PNPW history and hopefully CCW history. This one is a submissions match! The match goes back and forth with some high flying moves from Dickie. JSS goes for his six figure leg lock but Dickie reverses, JSS taps out and Dickie has done it. He has become World Champ once again. The crowd can’t believe it. JSS stands up and hugs his rival while raising Dickie’s hand. 1990 has proven not only to be a new year for CCW, but for JSS too. The rivals limp back to raucous cheers. ****
JR is joined by Ace Arcadium on commentary as Prince has left to prepare for his time in the BR. The crowd is excited, still in awe of what had just transpired. The competitors hit the ring and woah Exotic Rick is here!
