Reward Challenge
Jeff: Are you ready for today’s reward challenge?
Before we do, everybody drop your buffs. We are switching tribes.
New Zulu Tribe:

"In pairs, the castaways would race across a field to retrieve six large crates painted in their tribe's colors. Once all six crates were retrieved, the tribes would have to stack the crates into a staircase with the name of their tribe properly aligned along the sides. The first tribe to complete the staircase and get all of their members up the staircase to the top of a platform would win.
With the obvious physical edge, Zulu wins reward, a tarp and tools for shelter back at camp.

Day 9
Zulu Tribe
The castaways spend most of the day getting to know each other, with Ava, Neil, Homer, James, and Kenneth meet Harold, Laurence, and Jerry. After some discussing James seems more interested in getting to know what’s left of the mens alliance other than keep interacting with his former Himba tribe, which causes Ava and Neil (and their cronies) suspicious that James will work with the mens alliance instead of with them, which proves to be true when the mens alliance seems to take James under their wing. The Zulu members tell James about their alliance, which he seems happy to join, which leaves the numbers 4 to 4 going into the immunity challenge.
Himba Tribe
The castaways on the new Himba tribe also get along fairly well, as Chris, David, Debra. Patricia, and Kimberly meet Johanna, Rita, and Frank, the latter two having little to no power on their old tribe. Despite their previous differences, Chris, Debra, Patricia, and Kimberly tie ends with David to put the target on the former Himba tribe, Johanna, Rita, and Frank, starting with Rita because they think she is the worst in challenges out of the three.

Day 10
Immunity Challenge
"The tribes will be divided into pairs and cuffed together to race across a teeter totter to solve a puzzle and collect a key. Once three keys were collected, one castaway would use the keys to unlock three locks and raise their tribe's flag. The first tribe to raise their flag would win."
Due to wanting the original Himba members out, the former Zulu members give obviously less than 100% during this challenge, which leads to it being a blowout for Zulu who win immunity from tribal council.

Day 10
Zulu Tribe
The tribe doesn’t take the day very seriously as they are more concerned about the tools that they won, to build one of the best shelters ever seen on Survivor. While looking for more firewood, Harold finds a hidden immunity idol.
Himba Tribe
The original Himba members spend most of the day trying to figure out a way to get the target on the former Zulu members, but proves to be little avail as their sights are set on Rita. Their last resort is to go idol hunting, but it leads to nothing.

The castaways all vote.
Jeff: If anyone has a hidden immunity idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so.

Jeff: Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. I'll read the votes.
