Has any one promoted the event status of wrestlers? I've got a few maxed and was wondering if it was worth doing or not.

Depends on who you want to push more. For me, it was Arizona Chance. Jet Set Strutted heel was just dominating three years of the 80s era and I needed someone to challenge him on his level. Jet Set is one of three wrestlers that has held ALL three titles with an iron fist. The other two were Arizona Chance and Lazer.

I'm considering doing it with Samson to ensure he's a truly unstoppable monster, but I'm only gonna do that if I am able to save up a few tokens first.

I did it with Brit Buckingham because he grew to be my favorite opener, so I just brought him to midcarder for a TV title run which sadly ended short.
Used it another time on Arizona Chance to rise him to the top, because the heels on the main event scene were too strong compared to the two babyfaces I had at the time, so I used him to help balance out matches
