As I sit here, socially distanced from everyone but my wife and son, I feel a digital closeness to this board and all of you <dabs at face with tissue...washes hands for 2 minutes..returns>. I know I don't contribute as much as most of you to the discussions, but believe me when I say I enjoy reading all your thoughts and ideas and incorporating them into my fed. My main contribution is my fed, Cotguy130's WoW. Somehow, I have managed to hold my fans interest while booking 17 years and 1 month. I appreciate all the compliments that I've received over the "17 years", but the biggest one is being voted 2019's FED OF THE YEAR. I'd like to thank all of you who voted for me <you like me...you really like me>. I've had a blast doing it, and if you've been a regular reader, I thank you. I will treasure the gold-plated steel chair.
Now, without further ado <not that I know what ado is to actually stop doing it>, let me announce the second and third place FEDS OF THE YEAR.
The third place finisher and winner of the bronze turnbuckle pad is tenjitu's Canadian Championship Wrestling.
In second place, taking home the silver ring bell, is slashmaster, owner and architect of the grappling spectator gazzette
Let's hear a big round of the applause for the winners and everyone nominated.

As the winner of Idea of the Year and Storyline of the Year for Territory Days, I’d just like to say this: The idea for a cooperative fed actually began with Ace of Spades. While I still despise him with an unrivaled passion, I respect him and want credit given where it is due. This marks the second year in a row Ace and I have accidentally won an award together. We are Gargano and Ciampa, or Omega and Ibushi (but without the gay overtones). Sometimes bitter rivals, sometimes collaborators, always creating epic moments. That being said, Cotguy deserves mention for storyline of the year for the evil empire taking over his fed in a two year freaking masterclass of writing. Great storytelling, surprises, and it came to a satisfying conclusion. In the end, really, we’re just a bunch of guys role playing as fake wrestlers from a mobile game. Sounds lame. But I have laughed so much over the couple years I’ve been here. Thank you all for providing a diversion, especially now as the world is covered in fear. Stay safe, obey local guidance, and be sensible. We’ll get through this together. Love and joy chase out fear, so hug a loved one. |

I have just been awarded the most prestigous award on this entire board, the "Member of the Year" award for the year 2019. It took me blood, sweat and tears to win it. Not my own mind you, but still.
Now that I have obtained the prize that I've been after this entire year it's time to drop this tiresome charade. I am not the lovable undead colossus that you all mistook me for... I am your worst nightmare! You fools! Did you truly believe that Niz just vanished? He's dead and buried and The Niz, you will join him soon enough!
@thejerk, The Manhattan Mauler or anyone else on this board. You all have an empty plot waiting for you on my personal graveyard if you get in my way!

Another award I picked up along the way is the " Team of the Year 2019" for my work as part of the Wiki Trio. I'd like to take a minute to thank my fellow contributors for their hard work, but also to issue an apology to them. Although I will be winning the 2020 version of this award again, it won't be with them. Pierre The Enormous and Duke Mongoose were robbed at the End of Year Awards 2019, but next year we will be taking allllllll the awards.
In this life nothing is certain, except for Death & Taxes.

This has been the toughest year of my life (end of marriage literally weeks before the pandemic shut everything down) and I've been avoiding a lot of my hobbies. I think it's about time I return to start putting myself over and bashing Arizona. In all seriousness Mr. Chance, there isn't a person on the board I would rather accidentally win an award with.
