I don't know why, but I thought the auto-booking cost reflected the number of wrestlers you have... but I think it is actually how many match segments you have unlocked. Can anybody confirm that?

Can anybody confirm that? im pretty sure it’s based on how many years you’ve gone through but mine hasn’t gone up in a while so 🤷🏻♂️

I’ve auto booked through the entire 20yrs and it’s stayed at $2000. I have hardly purchased any wrestlers or segments what so ever so I’m guessing this has something to do with it. My auto booking fee on 80’s Mania is $9000 per show and I have pretty much bought everything in the game. So I’m intending to burn through another 20yrs at 2000 a pop and collect a load more tokens.

I'm currently at 2500 per show for auto-booking.
I'm in year 20, have every shop purchase with the exception of a few event cards, changed a few gimmicks and unlocked 2 segments per show.
In 80MWR I have everythibg unlocked and auto-booking sets me back 9500.

I'm almost done with my third 20 year run and I'm up to $4000. When it jumped from $3000 to $3500, I wasn't really paying attention, but it felt like it happened right after I bought the 9th match segment. But I haven't bought anymore segments in a while, and it jumped from $3500 to $4000. I have unlocked more alts, it may be based off the number of wrestlers, or maybe a combination of both... I don't know.

It must be a combination of all those things. My auto-booking cost just jumped from 2500 to 3000 after I unlocked a Merch Card. Is it still worth it to auto-book at $4000 per show? At what point do the costs of auto-booking outweigh the profits you get?
EDIT:
You know what? I'm just going to try it. Here's where I'm at right now:
- Week 1, May, Year 1
- 2 segments per show unlocked - 2 slots on the Merch Table unlocked - Auto-booking cost $3000 - Cash $104545
Once I've completed the year I will convert the token back to cash and see if I have more than I started out with.
I just switched a bunch of guys to their alternate gimmick after my last 20-year playthrough, so I probably don't have enough merch to fill every slot on the table. This could change when my wrestlers gain stat points, but this could also increase my auto-booking cost. I'll let you know how it goes...
EDIT 2:
Well, that went a lot faster than I thought...
- Week 1, May, Year 2 - 2 segments per show unlocked - 2 slots on the Merch Table unlocked - Auto-booking cost $3000 - Cash $104545 > $155475 (+$50930)
Still worth it. I'm going to continue untill I hit the $3500 mark for auto-booking and do another full year to see if I still make a profit.
EDIT 3:
- Week 1, May, Year 3 - 2 segments per show unlocked - 2 slots on the Merch Table unlocked - Auto-booking cost $3000 - Cash $155475 > $210642 (+$55167)
EDIT 4:
I hit the 3500 mark after unlocking some merch, bringing my total number of cards to 350 (coincindence?) Going for another year to see if I still make a profit
- Week 1, March, Year 9 - $106287
EDIT 5:
-Week 1, March, Year 10 - $106287 > $168047 (+$61760)
EDIT 6:
Back again. I cycled through the entire 20 years multiple times and I ended up unlocking quite a lot of cards, which upped my auto-booking fee to $4000. I'm not sure when it happened, but I'm pretty sure it was when I got a total of 400 cards. I'm at 448 right now, so if my fee is raised to $4500 if I unlock 2 more cards I can safely assume that the auto-booking cost is directly tied to the overall number of cards you have.
Is it still worth it to auto-book you ask? Let's find out:
- Week 1, May, Year 1 - 2 segments per show unlocked - 2 slots on the Merch Table unlocked - Auto-booking cost $4000 - Cash $69363
EDIT 7:
- Week 1, May, Year 2 - 2 segments per show unlocked - 2 slots on the Merch Table unlocked - Auto-booking cost $4000 - Cash $69363 > $153914 (+$84511)
Full disclosure: Everything up to EDIT 5 is fully random, I would only switch out an arena if I already had a show there the week/month before. In this past year I would make sure that the P4Vs were in one of the big 4 arenas (London Grounds, Olympic Colloseum, Puro Dome or Silver Stadium)
I'll buy two cards from the shop tomorrow, which should increase my booking fee to $4500 and I'll run through another year to see if it is still profitable.

Hey MystMotone101, maybe the information above can be used in one of your free to play guides?

I personally do not recommend Autobooking, since it usually takes away some of the key components of the game, and it costs in game money.
Although if I do get another product that can run Modern Mania, it can definitely be considered for a potential guide part if it ends up being worth it.

So far I've made at least $50000 profit a year with auto-booking (calculating in the token you get at the end of every year)
It's a very easy way to make money if you don't want to spend any actual cash.

You can always create a second account on your current device. Works for me.

Well it looks as though the devs were looking in on this one boys. Just updated my game and my auto booking has jumped from $2000 to $2500 and now to $3000 over the space of 3 shows lol oh well it was fun while it lasted. Time to play for real and grind

It's $500 for me also, I think I'm gonna autobook some shows and save up some money to unlock alt gimmicks

It was 500 for me for the 1st 2 weeks I did. Then it went to 1000 for weeks 3& 4. Then the next month it was back at 2000

So it scales depending on how many times you do it.

I think the update just changed things. I opened the game and I'm up to €5000 now.
I should've seen this coming. I think the devs were monitoring my account over the weekend. I repeatedly got kicked out and it showed me the message that another device was logged in on my account. Oh well...
---
I'm not sure auto-booking is viable any longer at this stage. The token is worth $100.000, so it only covers 5 months of auto-booking now. This means my shows and P4Vs will have to make at least $140.000 for me to break even.
