I would like to see an event card called interference where you could have a member of a faction interfere with a match. Well, it happened. But it is an event card, and not anything else.

I would love it if the tag team card didn't use up your event slot. It makes it very hard to push particular teams and set up storylines (unless you just use Commissioner's Decision, which I think takes the fun out of it).
It would be nice if the tag team bonuses just applied automatically for matches, although they might need to be nerfed a bit if this were the case. I just want to be able to add additional Push.
And yes, I realize I could just not use the tag team card on the other team, but then I'm sacrificing Skill and hurting the match.

I would like to be able to preview the cards of the weekly shows. It would help to build up to the various title matches, and also if I know what kind of #1 contender matches there will be, I can make my own mini tournaments leading up to them.

I've got a few I've been thinking about lately.
1.) I want to try and continue my storylines across/beyond the 20-year mark. Obviously, this isn't coded into the game, and that's fine. What I would love is the ability to pay some sort of one-time unlock fee (perhaps the cost of a token?) to have the accumulated data of each 20-year playthrough (title history, wins/losses, maybe show results) emailed to the user upon completion of the playthrough. It could be very simply formatted as a .doc or even .txt file, as long as I could look it over and have the same sort of data access offered by the in-game title history screens. Having this data could let me continue stories across the gap between playthroughs, which leads me to my second wish...
2.) Players should be able to determine who their champions are at the beginning of each playthrough, instead of defaulting to Monstro, Richie, the Knights, etc. A player's first playthrough could still lock to the defaults for tutorial purposes, but beyond that, I think it'd be neat to be able to set the table my way from the beginning, especially if I'm playing a longer-than-20-year run (see above). I really just want to start with Mr. Europa as my world champ. ♥️
3.) In this thread, I've seen a lot of requests for specific wrestlers to jump into MMW from 8MWR, and I think that makes a ton of sense with the shared universe the developers have otherwise created for these lovely games. I've also seen people asking for more flavor cards by way of managers. What if both requests could be met simultaneously? Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I would feel a little continuity shock if someone like VTC or HFK came to MMW as a member of the active roster. What if we got more legends as managers instead, to honor the passage of time between games? I'd love to have someone like Mark/Mike Bugg coming over to manage the Lady Bugs, or Strongarm/Otto coming up to manage his daughter. Less specifically (and more friendly to this game's alignment classifications), these legendary managers could specialize in managing a specific type of performer based on their 8MWR character. For instance, the aforementioned VTC could offer a bonus to a Tweener, while someone like Dicky Thunderbird could offer a similar bonus to an Honorable competitor. Or these bonuses could be applied to wrestler types (ghoulie, athlete, etc.) the same way skits are handled. Or both. Or all. Fun, yes?
4.) Speaking of skit bonuses, is there any way to diversify the mic scenarios by wrestler type? It is perfectly logical that promos would privilege bigmouths and showmen. Sometimes I really just want Pale Rider to talk, though, and I'd love to have a type of mic scenario that benefits a loner. I don't know how possible this is with the way the game mechanics are constructed, but it would make my playthroughs better in a non-negligible way.
5.) One thing I really miss about 8MWR when playing MMW is the previous game's discovery mechanic. There's something about randomly discovering feuds and tag teams that is infinitely enjoyable to me. I feel this has been minimized to a certain extent in MMW. (Could be the bias of 8MWR being around longer and having a deeper roster, but I digress.) I totally understand that MMW is a different game, but I still think there is room to incorporate more of that mystery in a specific way. Without spoiling anything, flavor provided in-game describes how Gunslinger becomes Pale Rider as the result of taking part in a specific type of match. What if this was a game mechanic? As in, before you can spend a gimmick token to get certain alts, you would need to complete a hidden "scenario" in-game: put the wrestler in a specific match, pit them against a specific foe, have them win a specific title, etc. This would make my discovery-oriented brain happy, and I think it would aid the replay value in MMW, as compared to its predecessor.
6.) Last one, I promise. I'd love to see a 4v4 match type, given how central faction feuds are to this game. They could be limited to player-purchased segments by default, and they could be expensive to make their use more meaningful/deliberate. Ideally, they would default to intergender. Maybe there could be one P4V each year that uses one of these matches, but I don't think that's particularly necessary as long as the match type is available by other means.

Would love a Fatal Four Way option too. And an Elimination Chamber match, even if it was only limited to four wrestlers. And YES YES ABSOLUTELY YES to number 2. Having the ability to set your own champions at the start of Year 1 would make each new game feel so much fresher than it currently does. No 'leave vacant' options or in-game tournaments needed or anything like that, just a simple screen like the End of Year Awards where you assign each title to a character of your choice. Job done. Some sort of feud 'heat tracker' would be amazing too. Do the 'Hottest Feuds!' screens in 8MWR actually mean anything? I could never figure out if they did or not. Anyway, something like that would be great, with a blue-to-red bar and arrow above it indicating how much heat your feud was garnering based on how often you booked two wrestlers together, in what types of match, how balanced the win-loss rate was etc. I think a version of GM Mode in an old Smackdown vs Raw had this feature, was pretty cool.

Looks like my 4th wish is already being answered in 8MWR, so I guess we'll be getting new mic spots in MMW soon enough as well. Very, very cool.

Seems like quite a few people - possibly new players, especially on the game's social media channels - have been pretty vocal about the difficulty of increasing stats compared to 8WMR. Would be cool if you got a guaranteed Skill point for every 50th match a character was involved in or something like that.
