When the tribe gets back it is revealed that the rebels decided to go with the minority split vote strategy (David vs Goliath style) in hopes that Amanda was the right one to play the idol for, but unfortunately for them that was not the case. The pagonging continues, with Mark, Kristin, and seemingly Tim leading the pack for the reward alliance, and Amanda and Michael taking the charge for the rebels. Now down to four, they plan on using idol hunting and immunity as their main strategy, but Lacey gets to the idol before they do, dashing their hopes quickly.

DAY 20
REWARD CHALLENGE
"Each contestant holds onto a rope while leaning out over the water and balancing on a small platform. At designated intervals, the contestants will be lowered, increasing the angle at which they hang over the water by moving their hands down the rope. Last person holding on wins the challenge."
Tim wins reward and takes Mark, Mira, and Lacey with him. They win a picnic by a beautiful waterfall.

With Mark and Tim, two of the leaders of the reward alliance away, the rebels try and get into the head of some of the weaker players in the reward alliance to try and flip to their side, but they all seem content with their position, despite being referred to several times as goats to take to the end by the rebels. While on the picnic, Tim finds an extra vote useful for the next two tribal councils, although he doesn't plan on using it.

IMMUNITY CHALLENGE
"The castaways would test their memory by having to memorize a series of symbols shown by Jeff. The castaways would have to show back the symbols in order. If they showed the wrong symbol, they would be out of the challenge. The last castaway to show all of the correct symbols would win."
Amanda wins immunity, sparing her for one more tribal that she probably wouldn't survive otherwise.

Now that Amanda has won immunity, the reward alliance has to alter their plan slightly so that one of the other rebels has to go home tonight, but that doesn't seem to affect them too much, as they are still hopeful that they could eliminate the rebels and make the final 9 together.
