Despite the plans against Christian, he is smarter than that. Mark made the mistake of talking about this in front of Morgan, who noted Christian that a plan was being formed against him, and thus it was that that prompted him to play his idol. Velva immediately goes and apologiezes to Christian, stating that this was all Mark's idea. Christian doesn't know whether to believe her or not, but decides he is pretty much forced to in order to maintain majority against Claire and Marilyn.

IMMUNITY CHALLENGE
"The Survivors would start at the base of a ten-step staircase. Each step of the staircase was part of a jigsaw, the pieces of which lay in a jumble at the foot of the staircase. The Survivors had to gather their missing pieces and build their way to the top of the stairs to the finishing platform. First person to have successfully completed their staircase and climb to the top would win."
Christian once again wins immunity. After all, Jigsaw is his favourite horror movie villain.

With Christian now realigned with Velva, Christian initially decides on wanting to vote out Claire, but Morgan changes his mind to voting out Marilyn as she is a bigger threat to win immunity, and if she does, than she is making it to the final tribal council and winning, because if any of the fans make it, they get the other fans jury votes. She also does this as a way of giving her another move towards her resume at the final tribal council.
