So, this was a nice little add-in for 90s Xtreme, but my question is, are these arbitrary numbers? My TV ratings will generally fluctuate from 10-12, while i see the competition go from 17 down to less than 1. It doesn't make much sense.

I was wondering this too. I assumed that it was a function of what star rating your show got.
I also wonder about how much randomness the match ratings are based on. But I can geek out about game mechanics.
