So if you read my fed results, you’ll know about a certain incident that occurred with monstro and enyu. This marks the 3rd time a major push has been ruined by random lower level talent that I gave a lower push to lead up to a tv title runs. The other 2 were grand manga beating Richie billions and big tony. What bullshit has happened in your feds?

Biggest “everything is ruined moment” for me is not finding a purpose of Cyber Blue, except finding a hatred for him. Another terrible moment I just had was realizing Cyber Blue could be a representation of Ninja and his alt is amazing Red. I know Slashmaster put this in his parody list but it’s just hitting me now |

Zeta Quade winning my World Title from Grand Manga turned me off from playing for a couple days. I was really building for a long reign for him. (This was pre-Commissioner's Decision card)

Not MMW, but I still remember getting Samson in my first or second playthrough of 8MWR and booking him to have a winning streak (you know, the one thing Goldberg was known for) only to have him lose to one of the Jobbers in his 4th or 5th match.
I didn't really know what to do with him afterwards, so I put him and Avarage Guy together to challenge for the Tag Titles on a random TV episode, only to have them win and reign for about 6-7 years.
This was before I got the Screwjob card in the game, so I kinda got stuck with him. I've been reluctant to use him ever since.

Szandor had been one of my most successful stars through the first 5 years of my fed but in year 6 his career took a downward turn as more and more talent entered the fed.
So toward the end of year 6 Szandor upgraded and changed his gimmick. The whole idea was to revive his career as a super villain with immediate TV/World title impact. I started running skits for his debut as Doomsayer. He issued a challenge to TV champ Zeta Quade one week and then sneak attacked Quade the following week. Then at the Battle Royale P4V he lost his TV title match to Quade. I gave him a rematch 2 weeks later in a Prison Cell match and he lost again.
Those losses weren't terrible and didn't ruin the angle as they were title matches after all and were both 3 star matches. I figured I'd just give him a few easy wins against some jobbers/openers and build some momentum to keep the rivalry with Quade for a major future showdown, maybe at Champ Clash. His first match up on his Road to Redemption was against Kongo Kid - who is rarely used at all and if he is its for a squash - and Doomsayer loses again, ruining the whole angle.
Doomsayer did end up recovering and by Nov of year 7 he's currently my CW champ but the idea of introducing him as a super villain with immediate TV/World Title impact sure didn't work out.

I tried to make Tag Team legacies for years, in game. Hard Way, Total Harmony, Neon Nights. No one could make it past more than like 2 defenses.
Then, Paper Chasers happened.
At first it was pretty great. They won the tag league, got set up for the title shot at Ladies Night, and beat Hard Way surprisingly. Then they defended the titles. Then again. And Again. And-
10 SUCCESSFUL DEFENSES LATER and they've beaten every midcard and higher team I have. At least twice. Avarice won and lost the TV title TWICE in that time while being the Tag Champs with Richie.
Alright, Big Guns time. Alexi Montstro and Sir Faultenroy are Legendary and Main Event. They'll b-NOPE. Shaolin hero and Zeta Quade? Maybe they'll d-NOPE. Sure, whatever, Barbed Wire No Ropes, Slash and Samoa. Lets just do what we ne-THEY WALKED THROUGH THEM.
I ended up stumbling into Hard way beating them again. 14 Succesful title defenses. Next three months Avarice was TV champ again and Richie won the world title cause fuck it, I felt like they deserved the chances.

The winner of my March Madness always fights the champ at Champ Clash. So in week 3, for the No 1 contenders match I do the winner versus a jobber.
