Have any of you made any teams, on accident or on purpose, that become an actual force in your fed?
I made a satanic trio of Diablo, The Buzzard and Black Plague, which I named lost souls.
Basically Diablo was rarely booked and lost 99% of his matches for a while so Black Plague turned him to the dark arts, and led him to success.
After losing his book, The Buzzard snapped and attacked Rod Codger during an interview (he "gave Rod what he fricking deserved" in his own words)Black Plague saw this and convinced the former Grimcraft to his side.
The 3 had success, until The Buzzard began losing again, and was kicked from the group, and has disappeared after a big loss to Black Plague. Diablo and Black Plague are still a team.

They weren't all that succesful, but I really like pairing Gregorian with Seraph. Something about teaming a monk and an angel together just works.

My best faction was called New Era. They were basically younger wrestlers who felt they were being held back by management. The members were Dre Apex, Chester Blood, and Bayonet. The faction ran for about 2 years until Chester betrayed the others and allied with Mr. Europa and Jakob Hearse.

I have a faction ongoing thats kinda in the NJPW mold as far as structure goes. Gunslinger is leader and then with him is Haruki Enyu, Bao Zhang, and the Soldiers of Fortune. I call them Soul Guns

I used Slashmaster with Zed and Keziah for a while but they didn't do much. I was basically trying to find a use for Zed and Keziah. Once I unlocked Son of Samoa and he teamed with Slash it was the end of that.
I also use Alexei Monstro with Siberia, Jakob Hearse, and Mr Europa as the European Union
Shaolin Hero and Shadow had a decent run as Tag Champs - they're part of the same faction in the game but not an official tag team.

I have used Alexei Monstro and Death Plague as a tag team. I also use Hijack and Intruder as a tag team. I realize they are in the same faction but they aren't an official tagteam

In the first 5 years of my original MWM run, Alexi Monstro (Main Event) and Roberto Samba (Opener) dominated the tag team division.

That's a pretty random pairing even for this game. I don't remember entirely, but I definitely put them together as kind of the "legit" athletes of the company. This is before I had any other members of Strike force or satin Jackets and the rest of the roster was pretty heavy leaning to Loners and Showmen in the beginning of the game. So as a whim I put them together in the Tag league in year 2 or 3 (Gunslinger/Lord Evermore/Flint Decker usually had the world title). They won it, so I decided to try and run with it. They ended up with 3-4 title reigns with 6-8 defenses each run.

Boneface and Doomsayer are the leaders of the 2 most evil factions in AOE. They showed up in a graveyard on one show and delivered a Message From Hell. They were entered in the Tag Team Invitational as last minute replacements after the Wheelmen were found backstage bloodied and beaten. They had Evil Intentions for the rest of the field, and won the tournament. The next month they beat Max Contract (who had been TT Champs for about a full calendar year!) in a barbed wire rope match. I figure the 2 evil SOBs will rule the tag division for quite some time. Whenever they lose, 1 will turn on the other and their blow off will be a Death match at one of the big P4Vs!

Boneface and Doomsayer didn't hold the tag titles for very long. After just a couple of months they dropped the titles to Samoa and Slash. So Doomsayer attacked Boneface post match saying it was his fault they lost. They had their death match the next month. Boneface won, but ended up getting injured for 2 months. During that time, Doomsayer went on TV saying Boneface got lucky and is no where near as good of a wrestler. Doomsayer snuck his way into a world title match and won. He started appearing in the grave yard with his title bragging about how he had killed Boneface and we'd never see him on AOE again. Until one night Boneface snuck up behind Doomsayer and just about beat him to death with his baseball bat. They met again in another death match with the title on the line. Boneface won again, exacting his revenge and winning his first world title in the process!

It's time for the Tag Team Invitational, and the heel Over Knights are current tag team champions. This means that they are responsible for picking the teams in the tournament (it IS an invitational...)
Three of their biggest threats recently were Total Harmony, Max Contract and Samoa and Slash. They cleverly decided not to invite any of these teams and instead invited either weaker tag teams or pairs which just don't click whatsoever.
One such team was Emperor Enyu and Shaolin Hero, who just came off an AMAZING match at Champ Clash. The Over Knights' plan quickly backfired, as Enyu and Hero actually worked well together and won the invitational. They would go on to defeat the Over Knights.
I'm now in the middle of a sensational feud - Samoa and Slash vs Enyu/Hero

How is it that Super Scuzz and Shadow Man are not an actual tag-team?
After trying to take the wheels of the Shadowmobile Shadow Man has taken Scuzzbucket under his wing and trained him to be a crime-fighter. The Terrific Twosome patrol the streets of Noctropolis and stop all those who do evil.
Their partnership could last for years! Or untill Slapstick caves Super Scuzz's head in with a crowbar...
