Sure--there is a Woman Tag Team title match on the card. In setting up the match I hit the "View Top Contenders" card and instead of bringing up the Woman Tag Team Contender ranking, it brought up the Cruiserweight Champion Rankings. Then I had to scroll over to the Woman Tag Team Contenders.
So not a huge issue but wanted to bring it up...

Has anyone tried the number 1 contender cards? It just seems pointless to have someone win in week 1 or 2 just to make him do it again in week 3

I've bought and used them all in 8MWR, but I don't really see the point for them without a freestyle booking mode. They're going to remain in the MMW shop for a long time in my game.

The #1 Contender cards haven't even shown up in my shop for some reason. I just get some combination of Commissioner's Decision, Message from Hell, and Words of Truth (the only three original cards I haven't bought).
I feel like either my game is bugged or the new cards are set to be a higher rarity or something. I'm tempted to buy Message from Hell and Words of Truth just to get them out of my shop, but $300k is a lot of money to spend on cards I'll rarely use.

Every once in a while I'll drop a commissioner's decision if I need someone to win The only Pure Evil I currently use is SlashMaster, and the only Pure Good I use is Lord Evermore. It just doesn't seem worth it to buy those cards to use with one wrestler apiece. If I get more Pure Good or Evil wrestlers in the future, then I'll buy them. And yeah, there are times I wish I had Commissioner's Decision, but not enough for it to be worth $500k. I mostly like leaving things to chance, and if things don't go the way I planned, it becomes part of the story. |
