I'm on my second playthrough and I chose classic booking over the monthly booking. I must say that I love it way better. I feel like I've got a lot more freedom to do what I want in the game now. The main thing was 1 guy holding the World title and Tag title at the same time.
During monthly booking every show for every week is set for the year and you repeat that 20 times. I knew which months had the #1 contender mic spots, etc.
The match layouts in classic seem to be a bit more random. I've found the following main events during classic.
1v1v1
1v1 ladies
TV title match
Ladies Title
Cruiserweight Title
Tag Team Title
World Title
There may be a 3v3 main event.
Does the game randomly decide which setup you're going to get for the week? Or is there a reason behind it like with monthly?

I have to admit I have no idea what the difference is between the two. I've only done monthly. What are the differences?

You can book any title matches during the week with your extra segments. And there's no restrictions on who can have title matches. You can book your world champion in TV, Tag, and Cruiserweight (there's still a weight limit) if you want. There's a lot more freedom. |

I like the classic better too but now that i have huge roster the modern mania system works fine, also not related but i think modern mania could benefit a lot from the classic system specially in the beginning where your roster is very limited.

Bc I just started classic after years of playing monthly and feb n march weeks 1-3 were identical cards. |

My 2nd play thru as well but seems the matches in classic weeks 1-3 repetitive. I assume that changes as I go? W for instance a 1v1v1 or 6 man main events? Also does the pattern change each year of the 3 weeks of a given month? |
