You gotta give the people what they want .
This is a great selection. Chance makes a ton of sense as a trainer. It feeds into the common head canon that he and Gunslinger have ties together. And it’s awesome to see one of the games first truly original stand alone not based on a real wrestler character stars given a place in MMW.

If Chance is the good guy Trainer, then who will be the bad guy Trainer for next week? I'd guess Dr. B or O'Hooligan, or maybe Pelvis Pressly as he was one of the first cards you got. It's also interesting to see the potential for adding Icons into factions, and I wonder if certain Icons will give greater bonuses for certain cards, like Gunslinger and Aspin Northstar could get a bigger stat boost when backed by Chance.

It did mention in one of the Twitter posts that these were both ‘starting roster originals’ so my guess would be Johnny Kobra. He’s a bad guy, his character is a natural fit as a trainer, and with the Cobra Kai series being a big success, Johnny as a pop culture reference is as relevant as ever .

Two fan favorites! If they were part of factions, I could see Kobra being part of the Influencers and Strike Team most, with how he looks as a wrestler. Chance would either be part of Nomad Gang or Southern Tropic. |

I checked the Google Play store and the update is live downloading while typing this post
Edit: Johnny Cobra icon showed up first for me wasn't able to get it just yet as it cost 800K. Not sure if it will come down when the next months icon shows up. I guess I will have to grind to get it

So expensive, but so good. Kobra gives +15 skill and +10 to mic, pop, and push. He can be used on any wrestler.
That's amazing. He can single-handedly let a midcarder compete at the main event level.
It costs 3 gimmick tokens to unlock his wrestler version, which is pretty insane, but I haven't bought the card, so I don't know what level the wrestler is. If he flips straight to a legendary, I can see the 3 gimmick tokens being halfway reasonable.
Has anyone gotten Arizona Chance in their store? I'm wondering if he gives the same bonuses.

I did some experimentation with the Icons that were just released. I'll put in their maximum potential later, but aside from the hefty costs of these icons, the following information should be important.
1. You can only use the wrestler card in a match/mic spot/skit once per in game month. Once the month rolls over, you can use them again (for example, you can have Johnny Kobra participate in a match at the P4V and then participate in a Mic Spot the following week, but then you can't use him again for the rest of the month.
2. Using the Event card does not count towards this restriction.
3. Merch values for Icons are $50 higher than other wrestlers in their respective tiers (Mid-Card was $75 instead of $25, Upper Mid Card was $100 instead of $50, and Main Eventer was $150 instead of $100).

Are we only going to get ICONS for the next few updates, or will they be mixed in with "regular" new wrestlers? Has that been said by devs?
