Any mic segment with Average Guy and the Shoot card is almost guaranteed a 5 star segment. Any skit or mic spot with Shoot is guaranteed 4 or 5 star.

I started a new game so I'm in 1980. I scored 3 of them so far all with Thunderbird. 2 with Valedictorian and one with JSS. All with feud card.

I feel like I might be able to take this one step further. Instead of just a 5 star match, 5 star skit, or a 5 star promo. I think we can make a 5 star show.

Skit and mic are fairly easy, depending on the cards you have, but Cheap Pop, Shoot, and the bad version of cheap pop (name escapes me) would be three near guaranteed 5* segments, assuming one extra segment bought. So, on a week 2 event, now you only need to get the three matches to all be 4* or higher. Put on a ladder match between two flyers, a cage match between two specimens, etc., you give yourself the best chance. A mandatory tag match would kill your chances though.

Tag matches wouldn't necessarily mean your chances are dead. That's what tag feuds are for What I mean by that is that the game seems to calculate the star ranking by the total number of cheers/boos the individuals get collectively, divided by the number of participants in the segment. The game also seems to randomly throw in a bad performance from an individual performer now and then. For a five star card, everything has to break perfectly— one bad performer makes it impossible to have a 5* card. So, you eliminate as many variables as possible by going with the minimum number of performers possible, and min/max as much as you can by getting guaranteed 5* skits and mic performances by using wrestler types and boost cards appropriately, then put Legendary guys in feuds with each other in singles matches and hope for the best. Unless someone has a better idea on how to pull it off.

Succeeded a few with Suicide/Dragonfly with feud card By itself, and stips like ladder.

Using feud cards that give +2 to match rating makes it pretty easy to get 5* matches, but I recently got a 5* show which was pretty awesome.

Unless someone has a better idea on how to pull it off. I was thinking about Survival Series 1991 and later, actually. What you need for this to work are the following wrestlers. HFK (Legendary), Undermaster (Legendary), Dragonfly (Upper Mid-Card), Suicide, Ace of Spades, and The Hunk. You will also need Cheap Pop, Cheat Heat, and/or Shoot, along with a Bigmouth or Showman with 10 or higher mic, and a wrestler with 15 or more Pop (vise versa if needed). The final stipulation, is that one of the wrestlers mentioned is your World Champion, and his respective rival is not a champion (for example, using HFK as World Champ means you can not have Undermaster as any other champion). The reason for these 6 wrestlers being required is because they are the ones involved in +2 star feuds. The last thing you need are wrestlers with high skill (like Magnifico, Great Ginzu, Ninja Star, and even Mercenary.) My theory here is that you ease things with +2 stars for every feud, only requiring 3 matches, and promos and skits will be easy. I will go ahead and put together a theorycraft card for Survival Series 91 and later. Match 1 (Flavor: This is Extreme) (Ladder Match) Dragonfly, Masakari, and King V VS Suicide, Magnifico, and Ninja Star Promo- Wrestler Brag O Hooligan (Shoot) Match 2 (Flavor: Bad Blood) (Falls Count Anywhere) HFK, Great Ginzu, and Flawless One VS Undermaster, Magnus Muscle, and Mercenary Skit- Dramatic Promo Arizona Chance (Cheap Pop) Main Event (World Championship) (Flavor: Best of the Decade) (Exploding Ring/Burning Ring) Ace of Spades (c) VS The Hunk Well, that took some time to put together, but hopefully this will help people get those 5 star shows. Also, Pistol, if you're reading this, what was the multiplier for a 5 star show?

Multipier for a 5* show was x2. So with PPV modifier it was essentially x4. Ended up making 32k of that one show, which felt pretty fantastic.
