I'm ok with it. When I had originally brought in the idea of a Women's Championship, I was just gonna have Daisy hold it as a prop while she fights the guys. I was very shocked when Veronica Chance joined in (which is why if you read back to the title introduction promo, there was no mentions of Veronica). I was just gonna abuse JWA Mania and have her "defend" the title there against other women. If we do decide the fold and the deactivate the women's title Daisy can also go and raid SUNDOM's championships and defend them on Mania.

Or perhaps transitioning the Women's title into a secondary title, essentially keeping the same lineage while opening up the roster to another avenue to claim some gold. Daisy taking advantage of her new more hardcore punk gimmick and opening the belt up for more than just the women.

The counter argument for a secondary belt would be that our roster is pretty thin as it is, and how do we make the other title different? At least as the "women's division" there as a clear separation from the other titles.

The Roster is thin but, more than that, it’s very inactive lately - and I do wonder if everyone’s just really too busy to get involved each week or if there’s a loss of engagement due to the fact that it can take a while to get into the title picture and feel like you’re creating any momentum.

I’ll stress here that this isn’t a criticism on my part: I like how the board is and, as somebody who enjoys long-term booking more than winning belts, I want it to stay this way. But I do often wonder if a second title would give more opportunities for guys to feel they have something to go after.

Maybe it’s something as simple as having another title that is kayfabe the secondary title, and let’s just see what happens with it. Or we go down the road of using the win/loss brackets to divide the roster into the two title categories.

A final option is to do another vote, if today’s result says we keep a secondary title, and let people choose if they want a regular title or something specialised like a hardcore title, a high flyers title, or something else. Whatever the majority of the board feel would get them motivated to engage more, I’ll cosign it.

We eliminated the win/loss records a long time ago because it would unfairly exclude people from challenging for titles. I prefer momentum as a qualifier. Right now both Duke and Penguino have wins in singles matches and would be logical challengers for the World title. But that doesn't mean someone else can't step up and make a challenge. 

If the board wants, we can establish a secondary "television" title where I'll just throw matches together. I've always relied on the board members to book their own angles but when people aren't being active that doesn't work.

A couple of things about the roster being inactive:

1. Mack is a camp counselor in rural Indiana with internet access maybe 10 minutes a day. Immediately after that is his final football season— he’ll be more active come December.

2. I’ve worked 60 hours each of the last two weeks and will be on a road trip with the wife and my other kid next week.

3. Daisy is definitely in a transitionary phase of some kind in her life, from what I gather.

I’m hoping that the lull is seasonal based on a lot of factors, including summer. But we’ll see.🤷

Regarding the participants in the JWA Openweight Title qualifiers, I just wanted it to be clear that I am attempting to include only active participants. Certain members of the roster have made it clear, publicly or privately, that they are unable to be active at this particular time.

For example, Thump made it clear that Mack isn't going to be able to be active as much for the time being. HOWEVER, if Mack wants to be included in the field for the new title, he can let it be known and he can have Troglo's spot, since Troglo is Pierre's alt.

I want to give everyone a fair shot. If you feel you have been unfairly excluded, please contact me and we can work on a solution.

With DOOM already out of the running for the Openweight Title, if Red fails to advance this coming week, should the Pirates OF DOOM get a title rematch at Fortune & Glory against Caine & Satyros?

So… what exactly is the BattleDome? Is it just a standard steel cage? A Hell in a Cell style cage with some area around the ring enclosed? A modern WarGames/Blood & Guts style dual ring enclosure?

My proposal is we make it up as we go. It’s a magical, ever-expanding cage that caters to our whims— in Harry Potter parlance, it’s the Cage of Requirement.
