[Do I need to do IC: for when I talk more in character on this board...because I'm not actually a raging maniac]

Never hurts to have an ally. You can be a singles competitor with friends who does an occasional tag match as the story dictates.

Considering how to play this rebecca angle, I had been thinking about having Buffalo be kind and charming and then offended/awful when Rebecca still isn't interested; but after getting clobbered by Stanley does that work? (or work as a "Buffalo's lost his usual jerk personality" story line?)
(Definitely don't want to ignore the awful aggressive nature of his thing for her or excuse what he's doing...it's a fine line to walk)

That’s a great parallel. Ultimately it will partly be up to Stanhow this plays out, but we’re all walking various shades of gray here rather than traditional heel/face— this might be a great opportunity to garner some sympathy for the big guy by treating her very respectfully but having her still rebuff his advances. It all ultimately depends on where you want Buffalo to go, but it’s a heck of a storytelling opportunity.

Humm...
Who here likes how the entire Tommy Oni thing is going? Right now he is definitely going on a one man engine of destruction route. Everyone he faced finds himself injured or worse. Prehaps the only way to stop him is Nightmare Ginzu. Fight evil with evil.

Just to clarify something— I don’t know about the rest of you all, but when I post something as a voice mail to someone, I expect the rest of us to treat it as it’s not common knowledge, and only that character has that knowledge until the recipient of the message makes it public or chooses not to.
If I post something and it’s on Chirpy or Digifoto, it’s public knowledge and I intend for all characters to be able to do what they will with that info.
It’s a subtle difference, but when we’re doing collective storytelling, whether it’s something like this, D&D, writing a collaborative fan fic, or whatever, it’s important to differentiate between player knowledge and character knowledge.

This is true. Penguino kinda confused it up with no reason or ability to eavesdrop on voice mail. Yes I know...we are talking reason to someone whose gimmick is that he is a humanoid size bird man. But yes, keep things in mind. Your not your character. The character is not you.
