Hey everyone,
I really like the end of year awards, I think it’s a cool thing to have in the game. I think in order to reward the wrestlers who deserve the award, could it be possible to maybe add like a +1 to their pop or push to the award winners? What do you all think?

I would think a one year bonus to something could work.

This would be a difficult update for a few reasons. First, it would be difficult to add and subtract it for each wrestler for each individual player. Second, and probably most importantly would be the issue of Merch. If a Wrestler of the Year push for example were enough to fill (or help fill) a wrestler's stats to the point of gaining their Merch card players might be frustrated by either having to choose that same wrestler for the same award again simply to maintain the Merch card. So if I chose O'Hooligan as my Most Hated Wrestler and he gained a mic bonus then Slashmaster became the Most Hated Wrestler the next year and O'Hooligan lost the mic push (his only remaining stat to gain his Merch card) players might become frustrated because they'd have to repush O'Hooligan And have to recollect his Merch card potentially.

I'm still lost by 'most hated' - like best heel? wrestler that's performed the worst? the one that I (as a crowd, I guess) most hate? IDK, I've nothing to quantify it with, so usually I go with best heel

This feature is more annoying than anything since it doesn't really serve a purpose in the game. Can it just be removed?

Can it just be removed? it's just meant to be a fun little slammy thing I understand what it is meant to be, but if it isn't going to be useful in the game, then it should be able to be a selectable option on the main menu if you want it included or not. |

It would be cool if that person got an additional bonus though, as if they were holding a belt |

It would make more sense if the game was designed to award those "titles" to the wrestlers instead. Otherwise it's biased without any merit. It would be interesting to see who the game would pick as "Wrestler of the Year" etc if it was taken out of the users hands.

The computer should just pick them based off the win-loss records of the individuals each year. I only pick mine based off of who has the titles longest and it seems weird.
I admit I don't care too much for the end of the year awards, because there's really no incentive to pick certain people.

I definitely enjoy having the wrestlers have something to work for, but i really think there should be a +1 pop bonus to the winners of said awards.

Another way to reward theese awards (I don't know if it is possible or easy to implement) would be to increase that wrestler's merch price. That way there's no need to alter the card stats and it solves the problem of not having maxed out that card yet. Just max out your wrestler and it's merch will give you more money than the standard.
I would make that bonus (+10$ for each award for example) durable thorough all the years of that wrestler and add a bonus of every award received on every year. it's a nice way of rewarding a long and successful wrestling career like my Arizona Chance for instance, as he was basically the top wrestler of my promotion for a decade but now with all the legendary and main eventers can't find a slot for him. But his merch should be 200$ haha.
This way, players who do not find this to be a fun feature can just profit from it and award all the slots to the same wrestlers and just collect money and people that likes to play with theese can design a fun strategy or booking.
I think about it as an midcard or upper midcarder (like Daniel Bryan) selling more merch than an stablished main eventer, which is something that can totally happen!

Nice idea to add the most Hated and most Popular resulting in mercd sells or events income.

I use the End of Year Awards as a historical indicator of what wrestlers dominated my fed that year. It’s fun to look back and remember who was kicking ass and taking names.
My barometer is record, appearances, and my overall recollection. Anyone from Opener to Legend is eligible to win. Just need to have either a great record, tons of appearances, and/or a memorable year.
