Factions

I’ve just started out this game. I’m curious how do I get the factions for example The Imperial Dynasty?

You need those cards in your collection. Most of the factions have at least one alternate gimmick, though. So, let’s take the Imperial Dynasty. The Chiyome and Krait in the stable are the default gimmicks so all you need to do is buy the cards. The other three are alternate gimmicks so they won’t show up until you are able to switch gimmicks. So, having Haruki Enyu will not get him in the stable. You need his other gimmick Emperor Enyu.
