The Death of ABCW
In the 80s and 90s ABCW was on top of the world. It was the number one pro wrestling company on the planet, and the highest rated show on television. Their flagship program Monday Night Live sold out arenas and their merch sales went through the roof.
It all started in the 1970s with a record-setting world title run by Gepetto Rocco, and started picking up even more steam during the Pop & Pro-Wrestling Connection Era in the 80s. People around the world tuned in to see celebrities like Jacko Pop, Chaka Crass and Jam Gordon interact with the greatest grapplers of all time. Then, just as the buzz around the product died down a bit, the wrestlers adopted a whole new attitude and the sport's popularity soared to heights never seen before. Ace of Spades, The Hunk and Blockbuster Brohan became household names and cultural icons that have endured to this very day.
All of this changed in 1999. Real life tension between the owner of the company and the Undermaster, one of his top stars lead to a match at the biggest show of the year: Champ Clash. Despite pleas from those around him not to go through with this plan, the stubborn Mr. Fantasy stepped into the squared circle that April and after a long and grueling battle, he would have to be strechered out. That was the last time anyone saw the owner and CEO.
It is unclear what the fate of Mr. Fantasy after this confrontation has been. Some believe he lost his love for the business and retired. Maybe he started a new life under a new name on a tropical island somewhere far away? Others think he died. Maybe he perished from the wounds inflicted upon him by the Undermaster? Maybe he died of heartbreak after he saw what became of his beloved ABCW?
Blaine and Tiffany Fantasy, the children of the chairman, became the new owners of the company after their father disappeared. Although they tried their very best, they were not ready for this responsibilty. Wrestlers and fans alike did not trust them to lead ABCW like their father had done before them. As the top stars started leaving for rival promotions the rating plummeted and the ticket sales declined. Beyond Wardome 1999 would be the final show in the promotion's run...
Or so we thought. There were already rumors that the Fantasy kids were involved with last year's independently run Tournament of Queens. Rumors that have now been confirmed with their announcement of a new promotion: XPW. Their first show, BattleBrawl is set to air very soon and has already got the wrestling world talking. Who will be on the roster? Could we see some old favorites return? Will this new company reach the same level of popularity as its predecessor?
There is only one way to find out!
Keep your eyes on this channel for the premiere of XPW: Pro Wrestling Reborn!

BattleBrawl Week 1, January Year 1
The show starts with two people already in the ring: The Fantasy siblings. Blaine and Tiffany, the CEO and CBO of the new XPW promotion. Blaine is the first to speak. He welcomes the fans and says that although this is a brand new company, they will still honor the past. Many of the ABCW legends will have a place here in ABCW and that includes the defunct promotion's final champions. The first of which, MC Frosty, will be defending his Television Championship tonight! And at the end of the month the World Champion Reptile Ranger will defend his gold against the winner of the 20-man Battle Royale! After the cheers from the crowd die down Tiffany starts speaking. She tells everyone that XPW isn't only about the past, but also about looking ahead to the future. At last year's Tournament of Queens event new champions have been crowned and we will hear from them tonight as well. Blain and Tiff then say they don't want to take up too much of the show's time with talking. It is time to give the people what they came here for: Pro-Wrestling! ***1/2
Match 1: Timmy Tough VS Zeta Quade
The first match under the XPW is a perfect encapsulation of the promotion's mission statement. In one corner we have Timmy Tough, brother to ABCW journeyman Tommy Tough. Standing across the ring from him is indy stand-out Zeta Quade. A man who has never appeared on US television before, but wastes no time making an impression. Quade and Tough deliver a high octane opening match that ends with a Masterstroke. Winner: Zeta Quade ***1/2
We get shown a clip from the Ace of Spades Show. His guests are Mother Mercy and the Sky Diamonds. The Sky Diamonds won last year's Tournament of Queens to become the inaugural XPW Ladies Tag Team Champions, while Mother Mercy wiped the floor with Queen Starbright and captured the XPW World Ladies Championship. All of them look forward to competing for the hottest new promotion in the world. *****
Claymore the Brave makes his entrance and waits for his opponent in the ring, but instead of another entrance we get a promo on the big screen. Grimcraft lets the do-gooder know that he has better things to do than compete tonight, but he has arranged a suitable replacement. A hooded figure appears from seemingly out of nowhere and attacks Claymore. ***1/2
Match 2: Claymore the Brave VS Child of C'thulu
Claymore is cleary the superior wrestler in terms of speed and strenght, but he is too naive for his own good. The Child of C'thulu resorts to underhanded tactics and ends up coming out on top. Winner: Child of C'thulu **
Match 3: Gunslinger VS Sherman Turk The mysterious Gunslinger takes on Sherman Turk in a glorified squash match. Turk doesn't land a single move before walking right into Gunslinger's finisher. Winner: Gunslinger *1/2
Match 4: Zombie Punk VS The Enhancer The announcers try to put over that this is the original Zombie Punk, but that can't be, right? He looks like him and he moves like him, but that would mean that he hasn't aged a day since ABCW closed its doors. As soon as the bell rings Punk assaults his opponent and he doesn't let up. It doesn't even seem like he is thinking about winning a match, he just wants to hurt the Enhancer. The masked man starts tapping and it takes three people to break Zombie Punk's hold. Winner: Zombie Punk *1/2
Match 5: Molly Oliver VS Paradise One of the commentators, Rod Codger, tells us that this is Molly Oliver's very first professional wrestling match. Her opponent is Paradise of the Nomad Gang, a trio of female wrestlers that travel from promotion to promotion and usually walk out holding gold. Oliver shows potential, but is hopelessly outclassed. Winner: Paradise **
Match 6: Television Championship - Mack Caliber VS Silvergod
The last time these two wrestlers faced off was at Beyond Wardome 1999. Caliber, then still going by MC Frosty, barely eeked out a victory against Silvergod in a hair versus hair match. Silvergod's hair still hasn't grown back and it is clear for all to see that he is still bitter about this. He attacks as soon as the match starts, but Mack has improved immensely since their last match. The two veterans put on a spectacle, which ends with an impactful Magnum Slug. Mack celebrates his title retention with the crowd and sends them home happy. Winner: Mack Caliber ***1/2

Friday Fight Season Week 2, January Year 1
Match 1: Grifter VS Professor When VS Concrete Charlie No opening promo this week, as we dive straight into the action with a triple threat match. All three guys are looking to make a good impression in their first TV match and maybe earn a spot in the prestigious Battle Royale match. As the tension between Professor When and Concrete Charlie seems to reach a boiling point, Grifter scores a quick roll-up and walks away with the W.
Winner: Grifter *1/2
The crowd eagerly awaits to hear from the TV Champ after his big victory last week. Before he can utter a single word he is jumped from behind by another man. It's Silvergod! It seems like things between these two wrestlers are far from over. ***
Match 2: El Tecnico Rojo VS Timmy Tough Timmy Tough is looking for redemption after failing last week. He is determined not to follow in his brother's footsteps, but Rojo's combination of high-flying moves and technical excellence is just too much to overcome. This is another tough night for Timmy.
Winner: El Tecnico Rojo **1/2
Claymore the Brave is chasing down Grimcraft backstage, hoping to get back at him for the ambush last week. He has his target cornered and it looks bad for Grimcraft, but then Child of C'thulu sneaks up behind Claymore. Has our hero walked into a trap once more? No! Lord Evermore comes to the rescue and a big brawl breaks out as we cut to commercials. ***
Match 3: Child of C'thulu VS Lord Evermore As we return from the break the match is already in progress. Lord Evermore and Child of C'thulu lay into each other with heavy blows. Grimcraft tries to interfere, but Claymore prevents him from getting involved. With no outside help Child of C'thulu cannot keep up with his more skilled opponent.
Winner: Lord Evermore ***
Match 4: Desert Storm VS Molly Oliver & Kristy Tristan
Things have escalated after last week's match, as Paradise and Molly Oliver will now face off in tag team action. Molly has turned to her fellow trainee Kristy, while Paradise is backed up by Warhawk, her longtime tag team partner. Once again we have to applaud Molly and Kristy on a vailliant effort, but the winners were clear from the moment the bell rang.
Winners: Desert Storm **
The crowd erupts into thunderous cheers and applause as the familiar music of the Gage Guyz starts playing. The Tag Team Champions enter the ring and after soaking in the adulation from the fans they announce that they will be on commentary for the next match. They have heard many good things about the tag teams that are coming to XPW and are particularly interested in the Numbskulls, who have said in interviews that they became wrestlers because they were fans of Rager and Tatters.***1/2
Match 5: Numbskulls VS Pete Sinclair & Wally Saratoga Captain Danger and Super Scuzz are absolutely starstruck by having their idols sit at ringside. Although they have a couple of years of experience under their belts, their nerves cause them to make rookie mistakes and their opponents manage to capitalize on this.
Winners: Pete Sinclair & Wally Saratoga *1/2
Chester Blood, nephew of former 5-time cruiserweight champion Keith Blood, makes an unscheduled appearance. He is ranting and raving about Magnifico and say that he is not who he claims to be. His mic is cut off and he storms off. *****
Match 6: Cruiserweight Championship - Zombie Punk VS Magnifico
Much like his challenger tonight, it seems like the Cruiserweight Champion hasn't lost a step since we last saw him defend the title against Orion Northstar at Survival of the Fittest 1999. Zombie Punk comes at his opponent with the same aggression as in his match last week, but he cannot get hold of the much quicker Magnifico. Before the Punk knows what happened he gets hit with an amazing top rope Magnificarana!
Winner: Magnifico ***1/2

The Wrestling Classic Week 3, January Year 1
Match 1: Silvergod VS Sherman Turk Silvergod is looking to pick up some momentum ahead of his confrontation with Mack Caliber at the Battle Royale pay-per-view. He does so by showing his opponent every corner of the ring ahead of putting him down with a God Complex.
Winner: Silvergod **
Cutie Pie interviews Grifter about the upcoming Battle Royale match. Grifter is cryptic, but he assures Cutie that the night will end with him standing tall. ****
Match 2: Lord Evermore & Claymore the Brave VS Child of C'thulu & Grimcraft Evermore & Claymore are a well-oiled machine and are very much in the driver's seat for the majority of this match. They cut the ring in half and isolate Grimcraft in their corner. Naturally, Child of C'thulu uses his usual tactics, like distracting the referee and injecting himself into the match without tagging in, but their heroic opponents seem to have an answer for every trick.
Winners: Lord Evermore & Claymore the Brave ***1/2
Chester Blood speaks with Zombie Punk backstage. They discuss Punk's match with Magnifico and both men agree that this cannot be the same person that competed in ABCW. They agree to team up to unmask the Cruiserweight Champ. ***1/2
Match 3: The Hatchetmen VS The Mindbenders To build upon the tension between Professor When and Concrete Charlie the powers that be booked them in this tag team match, with a big prize at stake: the winners will go on to challenge the Gage Guyz at Battle Royale. The teams are evenly matched and it could have gone either way, but on this night Icepick Dominic is the one to get the pinfall.
Winners: The Hatchetmen ***
The Gage Guyz have been watching the match on a monitor backstage. Captain Danger and Super Scuzz walk up to them and say that they wish they could have faced Tatters and Rager for the gold. The champs also want the match and encourage the Numbskulls to keep working for it. ***1/2
Match 4: Kristy Tristan VS Warhawk Molly Oliver was the one who was pinned in the tag match last week, so Kristy has earned another chance to prove herself as a solo act. Unfortunately she doesn't fare any better without her partner in her corner.
Winner: Warhawk **1/2
Tempest confronts Mother Mercy and asks her if she has been paying attention. It doesn't matter if it is one on one, two on two or three on three, the Nomad Gang will walk away victorious every time. She tells the champ to watch her back, because they are coming for the gold. *****
Match 5: El Tecnico Rojo VS Gunslinger VS Greg Quebec There is a lot on the line in tonight's main event. The winner will enter the Battle Royale from the #20 spot, while the losers will be starting at numbers #1 and #2. Quebec and Rojo have had some classic matches on the independent scene and waste no time renewing hostilities. As tempers flare between the two, Gunslinger manages to keep a cool head and hit Redemption for the 1-2-3.
Winner: Gunslinger ***

Battle Royale Week 4, January Year 1
The show start with a video package showing us the history of the Battle Royale match. Starting with Average Guy winning the very first edition in 1981. It also puts a spotlight on Slashmaster, who won in '82 and '89, Ace of Spades who came out on top in '83 and '93, Dicky Thunderbird's dual victories in '84 and '86 and finally the Hunk who who the last edition of the match in 1999.
Match 1: Battle Royale Greg Quebec and El Tecnico Rojo are the first two men in the ring and they pick up right where they left off on last week's show. It doesn't take long for the ring to start filling up with wrestlers. Grimcraft, Claymore the Brave, Child of C'thulu, Zombie Punk, Mystic and Pete Sinclair all step between the ropes and get a moment to shine. Then, at number nine, Lord Evermore enters the fray and makes the first eliminations, tossing Mystic and Sinclair over the top rope. Meanwhile the crowd has started counting down again and out comes the returning legend Grand Manga, who enters the Battle Royale match for the tenth time in his career.
Zombie Punk attacks Manga, while Evermore and Claymore renew hostilities with Child of C'thulu and Grimcraft. While all this is going on Quebec and Rojo are still engaged in a bitter fight, which rages on even after they simultaneously fall over the top rope, eliminating each other from the match. More people joins the fight. Captain Danger is out at number 11, Professor When at 12, Super Scuzz at 13, followed by Zeta Quade and Chester Blood. Grand Manga eliminates Zombie Punk, only follow him over the top rope second later, courtesy of Chester Blood.
Then number 16 enters, the deranged Jakob Hearse makes his debut. He eliminates Claymore and Grimcraft, just as Evermore gets rid of Child of C'thulu. The Numbskulls run for Hearse and get chokeslammed over the top rope for their trouble. Zeta Quade gets rid of the Professor with a Masterstroke. It looks like Chester is going to be Hearse's next victim, but the two men form a temporary alliance against the only other two men who are left: Lord Evermore and Zeta Quade.
Just as things start looking bleak for Evermore and Quade another superstar makes his debut. Reaver makes an impression by getting rid of Chester Blood right off the bat, but he cannot stop Hearse from eliminating Lord Evermore. Wally Saratoga enters at 18, only to be eliminated by number 19, the returning legend Johnny Kobra. Emboldened by his success Kobra goes straight for the biggest man in the match, but bounces off Jakob Hearse and right out of the ring. The the clock starts counting down once again and number 20 comes out to a loud ovation. Gunslinger teams up with Quade and Reaver and they work together to get rid of Hearse. Three men left now, it is every man for themselves... or is it? Gunslinger and Quade stun Reaver with some amazing combination offence and now it's down to two. One Masterstroke later there is only one man left standing.
Winner: Zeta Quade (#14) **
Match 2: Last Man Standing Television Championship Match - Silvergod VS Mack Caliber After he was left laying by Silvergod two weeks ago, Mack is determined to do the same thing to his assailant tonight. Caliber is coming at his challenger with ruthless aggression and keeps hitting Magnum Slugs until he is no longer able to get back to his feet.
Winner: Mack Caliber ***1/2
After the TV Champ left, Silvergod remains in the ring, struggling to get back to his feet. To his surprise some music starts playing and Flint Decker, the other son of the legendary Average Guy, makes his XPW debut. Flint says their father would be ashamed of what Silvergod has become. The older brother turns his back on Decker and limps away without saying a word. *****
Match 3: Ladies Championship - Warhawk VS Mother Mercy All three members of the Nomad Gang enter the arena to confront the Ladies Champion. They decide that Warhawk will be Mercy's opponent tonight. Mother Mercy isn't intimidated by the numbers advantage the Nomads have and after a long fought battle she hits the No Mercy.
Winner: Mother Mercy ***1/2
Candy Cotton interviews Grifter. She asks him why he wasn't in the Battle Royale match. He said the night would end with him standing tall, didn't he? With a confident smile Grifter tells her to be patient. This night isn't over yet.***
Match 4: Tag Team Championship - Hatchetmen VS Gage Guyz This proves to be somewhat of a showcase match for the Gage Guyz, as they remind the audience what made them fan favorites in the first place. Rager adopted a more slow-paced, cerebral style to combat his opponents, but Tatters is still the same daredevil he has always been. He hits a Black Swan Bomb from the top rope to outside of the ring, while Rager takes care of Concrete Charlie with a Thrill Kill for the pinfall victory.
Winners: Gage Guyz ***
Match 5: World Championship - Zeta Quade VS Reptile Ranger Even though he must have been exhausted after the grueling Battle Royale match, Quade proves that he still has some of gas left in the tank. He comes hot out of the gates and overwhelms the champion at first, but soon the exhaustion starts setting in. Reptile Ranger starts fighting back, but it is clear that the years have taken their toll on him. The fight spills outside the ring and things look grim for the Ranger as a Masterstroke puts him through the barrier. If Quade can get him back in the ring this is all over.
Suddenly gets hit from behind with a steel chair. It's Grifter! Why isn't the referee doing anything? As the camera focuses on the official we see that he has been taken out by Jakob Hearse. Reaver and Gunslinger run out from the back to get things back in order, but a third invader pops up behind them and swings them into the ringpost to incapacitate them. It's Mr. Europa! The three invaders help the champion back into the ring and hand him his championship belt. The Reptile House stands tall at the end of the first XPW pay-per-view!
Double Count-Out ***

BattleBrawl Week 1, February Year 1
Match 1: Nomad Gang VS Brooklyn Belle, Sgt. Hardbody & Mother Mercy The Nomad Gang aren't done with the Ladies Champion yet and have made a challenge for a 3 on 3 match ahead of this week's episode. They probably figured Mercy wouldn't be able to find two partners, let alone two partners as skilled as Belle and Hardbody. After years of barely losing at all, having two major losses in back to back shows must be a bitter pill to swallow for the Nomads.
Winners: Brooklyn Belle, Sgt. Hardbody & Mother Mercy ****
Flint Decker is out next and he adresses the crowd. He says that he came to XPW for two reasons. The first is to be part of the hottest promotion in all of pro-wrestling. The crowd cheers. The second is a little more personal. He says that he and his brother were never close growing up. By the time Flint was in high school Sonny was already consumed by his Silvergod persona. But Flint knows there is still a good man somewhere hidden deep inside Silvergod and Decker will draw him out. By force if he has to. *****
Match 2: Chester Blood & Zombie Punk VS Magnifico & Grand Manga After unsuccesful stints in the Battle Royale match Punk and Blood get back to their mission: unmasking Magnifico. The veteran Grand Manga had a run-in with the malevolent duo at the pay-per-view and has chosen to team up with the man under the legendary lucha mask. The timing between the masked men is all over the place, even though Grand Manga and Magnifico used to be an amazing team in ABCW. Could there be credence to the claims made by Chester? One last miscommunication gives Chester the opening he needs to secure the victory.
Winners: Chester Blood & Zombie Punk ***1/2
We get live footage from Captain Danger's phone next. He and Scuzz are pulling a prank on an unsuspecting Icepick Dominic. It's amazing. Words cannot do this justice, look it up on XPW's BoobToob page if you get the chance. ***1/2
Match 3: Captain Danger VS Concrete Charlie As we return from commercials a match has been made. Concrete Charlie is out for revenge after his partner has been made a fool of. His anger causes him to make sloppy mistakes and the Captain gets the better of him.
Winner: Captain Danger **
Match 4: Candy Cotton VS Molly Oliver
Cotton isn't just here as an interviewer, she is also a very capable wrestler, as she proves in this match with the unlucky Molly Oliver.
Winner: Candy Cotton **
Match 5: Grimcraft VS Lord Evermore Lord Evermore is looking to put his feud with Grimcraft and Child of C'thulu to rest tonight and gives his opponent a hellacious beatdown. This should make Grimcraft think twice about ever getting in Evermore's way again... ...right?
Winner: Lord Evermore ***
Evermore is celebrating his win as he is suddenly called out. Child of C'thulu appears on the big screen and tells him to pay attention. Two figures appear on either side of him. The woman is known as Keziah and has built a reputation as a vile and ruthless pro-wrestler. She levels Child of C'thulu with a bone-shattering lariat. The man nods in approval. He introduces himself as Doomsayer. He tells Evermore to stay out of his business. The Dark Arts have plans that are beyond his imagination. ***
Match 6: The Reptile House VS Gunslinger, Zeta Quade & Reaver The Reptile House are out in full force in tonight's main event. Reptile Ranger takes a seat at the commentary desk while Grifter, Mr. Europa and Jakob Hearse taunt the crowd. Then their opponents arrive: Gunslinger, Reaver and Zeta Quade. It is hard to distinguish which wrestler gets the biggest reaction from the crowd, but it is safe to say that the fans are fully behind this trio. The babyfaces are fueled by the crowd's reactions and put on a spectacular show, but the well-oiled machine that is the Reptile House holds their own and strike back at every opportunity. As the match progresses Gunslinger seems to get the better of Hearse. Reptile Ranger can no longer sit still and attempts to interfere, but the referee catches him and ejects him from the arena. The Reptile House members are irate and start to unravel, which leads to... Redemption!
Winners: Gunslinger, Zeta Quade & Reaver ***1/2

Friday Fight Season Week 2, February Year 1
Match 1: Komodo VS Pete Sinclair Another impressive wrestler has joined the XPW roster. Komodo is swift, strong, savage and he's... trying to bit Pete Sinclair's nose off. Someone get this maniac away from him!
Winner: Komodo ***
Zeta Quade speaks with Gunslinger. He acknowledges that Reaver and Gunslinger also have reasons to go after Reptile Ranger, but he feels like he is owed a fair shot at the gold. Even is he has to fight the other two to get it. ***1/2
Match 2: Super Scuzz VS Icepick Dominic His hot-headed partner let his temper get the better of him, but the cool and calculated Icepick Dominic will make no such mistakes. He is methodical in his takedown of Super Scuzz and ties the series of singles matches between the two tag-teams at one win each.
Winner: Icepick Dominic **
Magnifico is in the ring with a microphone in his hand. This whole week XPW has been advertising that the Cruiserweight Champion will finally reveal the truth. He brings the microphone up to his mouth and... he gets interrupted by Chester Blood's music. Blood tells him to save it, since he won't believe a single word this "imposter" will say. **1/2
Match 3: The Enhancer VS Chester Blood Chester is talking trash all through this match and seems to have made it his mission to unmask all luchadors. The Enhancer tries to keep his mask on at all costs, which gives Blood time to hit his finisher.
Winner: Chester Blood *1/2
We cut to the back where Reaver is fighting the Reptile Houses, but his assailants have the numerical advantage. Hearse and Europa grab hold of Reaver as Grifter gets a baseball bat and swings it right at Reaver's kneecap. ***
Match 4: Desert Storm VS Brute Force The run of bad luck continues for the Nomad gang. Warhawk and Paradise are very impressive, but their lack of succes must be getting to them. Sgt. Hardbody and Brooklyn Belle have no such problems and come out on top.
Winners: Belle & Hardbody **1/2
The Sky Diamonds are happy to see the Ladies tag division finally getting some time to shine. They want more matches, more competition. They didn't come here to sit in catering, they came here to FIGHT! *****
Match 5: Tempest VS Kristy Tristan Kristy is still looking for her first win and tonight might be the night it happens. The Nomad Gang has had some terrible luck these last couple of weeks and for a moment it looks like it was about to continue in this match as Kristy gets a two-count on Tempest. This seems to have woken something up in Tempest and her performance starts to improve noticably. There is a sigh of relief as she gets the pinfall and finally regains some momentum for her faction.
Winner: Tempest **
Match 6: Television Championship - Greg Quebec VS Mack Caliber Greg Quebec's stellar performance in the Battle Royale match has earned him a shot at the TV title. Mack offers his opponent a handshake before the match, but he gets kicked in the gut for his trouble. Quebec attempts to follow it up with a stunner, but it gets reversed. The bell then rings and things get underway. Although he is going up against an established star, Greg doesn't seem out of his depth. He counters every kick, punch and throw with one of his own and it is only by the skin of his teeth that Caliber walks away with the gold.
Winner: Mack Caliber ***1/2

The Wrestling Classic Week 3, February Year 1
Match 1: Keziah VS Molly Oliver Keziah lives up to her reputation in her first outing under the XPW banner. Molly Oliver has lost matches before, but it is debatable if she has ever been hurt by an opponent like this.
Winner: Keziah *1/2
Match 2: Flint Decker & El Tecnico Rojo VS Silvergod & Greg Quebec Two of the hottest feuds in XPW are brought together in this match. Rojo and Quebec are still keen to get their hands on each other, but Silvergod doesn't share the sentiment. As soon as he and his brother are in the ring at the same time he tags out to Greg Quebec. As he has to do most of the work for his team Greg starts to get tired and Flint hits him with the First Class while locking eyes with Silvergod.
Winners: Flint Decker & El Tecnico Rojo ***1/2
Zeta Quade and Gunslinger are slated to compete in the main event to determine who gets to challenge Reptile Ranger at Couples Therapy. Quade is preparing in the locker room when he gets jumped by Grifter who swings his bat right into Zeta's spine. ***
The Gage Guyz are here to watch the number one contender's match. The Hatchetmen gave them one hell of a match at last month's super show and they have already stated their wish to face the Numbskulls in the ring, so they are very interested in what is about to happen. ***1/2
Match 3: The Numbskulls VS The Hatchetmen The series between the Numbskulls and Hatchetmen is tied at one win each, so this one's for all the marbles. Unlike in their previous number one contender's match, the Numbskulls have their nerves under control and we finally get to see the tag team that has been making headlines all over the indie scene these past couple of years. The tag team champions, who are at ringside, are surprised when Super Scuzz puts away his opponent with Tatters' patented Black Swan Bomb. Maybe the match at Couples Therapy won't be so friendly after all?
Winners: The Numbskulls **
Lord Evermore is here to respond to Doomsayer's warning and he has Winter by his side. They say the Northwood Kingdom will not be threatened and they will be waiting for Doomsayer and Keziah at Couples Therapy. *****
Match 4: Ladies Tag Team Championship - Brute Force VS The Sky Diamonds Destiny and Pink Champagne make it very clear that they are not happy with this match's placement on the card. They loudly complain that they should have been in the main event. Brute Force have no such complaints and are laser-focused on only one thing: winning the gold. Their mindset allows them to gain the upper hand in the early going and it takes a while before the Sky Diamonds can muster a comeback. When they do, they quickly hit their stride and remind the fans why they are the champions in the first place.
Winners: The Sky Diamonds **1/2
Match 5: Chester Blood VS Mystic Blood's campaign against masked wrestlers continues and he rips off Mystics mask right after securing the victory. Mystic uses his hands to cover his face, so he cannot properly defend himself from the post-match beatdown. Surely, this is meant as a message to Magnifico.
Winner: Chester Blood **1/2
Match 6: Gunslinger VS Jakob Hearse Gunslinger is out first and waits for Zeta Quade. Instead the Reptile House walk out to the stage and the world champion lets him know that Quade is no condition to wrestle. And after this next match, neither will Gunslinger be. Jakob Hearse walks forward and steps over the top rope, into thee ring. Gunslinger comes at him with a lariat, but Hearse doesn't even seem to notice. This is going to be a long night for the cowboy. He whittles away at the big man with short bursts of offence, trying his very best to dodge his opponent's lethal blows. Things only turn around for our here when he dodges a charging attack by Jakob, causing the big man to crash into the ring post head first. Gunslinger starts stringing together a series of high-impact moves and finally puts Hearse away and secures a spot in the main event of Couples Therapy. But what shape will he be in?
Winner: Gunslinger ***

Couples Therapy Week 4, February Year 1
The Couples Therapy pay-per-view is a new concept exclusive to XPW. It features a mixed tag tournament, with a huge prize for the winners: A shot at the the TV Championship AND a Ladies Championship title shot.
Match 1: 1st Round Match - Lord Evermore & Winter VS Child of C'thulu & Keziah Evermore and Winter are ready for their match with Keziah and Doomsayer, but it is a different man who shows up at Keziah's side. What could Doomsayer be up to? Keziah and Winter start out for their teams, but neither woman can get the upper hand. In frustration Keziah tags in her partner. Child of C'thulu has already proven to have difficulty beating Evermore and having a person in his corner doesn't seem to change this fact. Evermore wins this one for his team, much to Keziah'ss dismay.
Winners: Lord Evermore & Winter **
Match 2: 1st Round Match - Reaver & Tempest VS Grifter & Candy Cotton Where the men got to show off in the first match, the second match is all about the ladies. There is clearly bad blood between Reaver and Grifter, but their time together in the ring is surprisingly limited. Could we be in for a big singles match somewhere down the line? Tempest has regained her mojo and has great chemistry with Candy. When these two face off in singles competition in the future it should be amazing.
Winners: Reaver & Tempest **1/2
Next up is the match between Flint Decker and his brother Silvergod... or so we thought. Decker is the victim of a surprise attack and Silvergod keeps the attack going until he is dragged away. Flint is in no shape to compete and the match is called off.***1/2
Match 3: Tag Team Championship - The Numbskulls VS Gage Guyz The moment is finally here for the Numbskulls. They get to have their dream match against their dream opponents, but they clearly aren't quite up to the Gage Guyz's level yet. The champions aren't holding back either, probably still a bit annoyed about the Numbskulls' decision to using one of the Gages' finishing manouvers in their match. This match ends with another Black Swan Bomb, only this time it's the Numbskulls who are on the receiving end of it.
Winners: Gage Guyz **1/2
Match 4: El Tecnico Rojo VS Greg Quebec This match should have been excellent, but it was a bit too short for my liking. Maybe it is due to time constraints, maybe it is because they are planning to run this back on a bigger stage down the line. Either way, we still get occasional flashes of brilliance from both men. There is still plenty more we haven't seen between these two, but for now it is Quebec who comes out on top.
Winner: Greg Quebec ***
Match 5: Cruiserweight Championship - Chester Blood VS Magnifico After weeks of running his mouth and terrorising masked wrestlers Chester Blood has finally gotten what he wanted: A chance to fight Magnfico one on one. It is clear from his aggresive behavior that he doesn't only want to unmask his opponent, but also wants to hurt him. And if he can get his hands on some championship gold in the process, that's just the cherry on top. Magnifico is no slouch though and he has only gained in confidence ever since resurfacing last month. He dazzles the crowd and overwhelms his opponent to retain the title.
Winner: Magnifico ***
While celebrating his win Magnifico's attention is suddenly diverted to the big screen. Doomsayer and Grimcraft are in a dark room and address the Cruiserweight Champion. The say that Magnifico is intergral to their plans and the first step is to break the throne of lies on which he sits. They have found just the right man for that job. Magnifico looks like he has seen a ghost as Diablo is revealed as the newest member of the Dark Arts. ****1/2
Match 6: Tournament Finals - Lord Evermore & Winter VS Reaver & Tempest The finals of the first ever Couples Therapy tournament are between two fan favorite teams. No matter who walks away victorious, the crowd will be happy. The competitors shake hands before the match and things get underway. It is only by virtue of their experience as a tag team that Winter and Evermore gain the upper hand and secure their future title shots.
Winners: Lord Evermore & Winter ***
Match 7: World Championship - Gunslinger VS Reptile Ranger VS Komodo Gunslinger is raring to go, but Reptile Ranger tells the ringside crew to wait before ringing the bell. He says that in the past the main event of the February pay-per-view has always been a triple threat match and he is nothing if not a stickler for tradition. He has been very impressed with a certain wrestler and he wants to offer him an opportunity. Komodo comes out and the official gets word that he has been officially added to the title match. The bell rings and it is noticable that both the Ranger and Komodo only have eyes for Gunslinger. After a while they drop all pretense and work together outright. It is clear that Komodo is a part of the Reptile House. Gunslinger gives it everything he has, but this has essentially devolved into a handicap match and he doesn't have a chance.
Winner: Reptile Ranger **1/2

BattleBrawl Week 1, March Year 1
Match 1: Claymore the Brave VS Grimcraft Claymore finally gets the match he was promised on the very first episode of BattleBrawl. He is eager to deal another blow to the Dark Arts, but is seems like Grimcraft has become reinvigorated by his leader's speech at Couples Therapy. He jumps Claymore and attempts to carve his eyes out. The Brave struggles to break his opponent's grip, but it is futile.
Winner: Grimcraft **1/2
Match 2: Chester Blood & Zombie Punk VS The Numbskulls Punk & Blood are looking to regain some momentum after their attempts to break Magnifico have proven fruitless. To do so they have to contend with the team that was competing for tag team championship gold just one week ago. Where as any other team would be quick to flee or tap after the punishment that the baddies inflict in the early going, Scuzz and Danger have a higher pain threshold than most men on the roster. The grit their teeth and fight on until they are physically unable to stand it anymore.
Winners: Chester Blood & Zombie Punk ***
Match 3: Greg Quebec VS Sherman Turk Greg Quebec continues his winning streak here tonight. He must be looking to impress management and secure himself a spot in the upcoming March Madness tournament.
Winner: Greg Quebec **1/2
Reaver is back and he is furious. The Reptile House have put him on the shelf just as it seemed a title shot was in his future and now Reaver has made it his mission to destroy them all, starting with this backstage assault on Komodo. ***
Match 4: Wally Saratoga VS Professor When Oddly enough it is the Professor who is the underdog in this match, as Wally already has a win under his belt while When is still winless. He rectifies this temporal anomaly with a Bootstrap Paradox!
Winner: Professor When *1/2
Gunslinger speaks about the way he was set up at Couples Therapy. He has spoken to the matchmakers and at March Madness there will be no shenenigans. It will be a straight one on one match. And Gunslinger is going to put Reptile Ranger down. ***1/2
Match 5: Diablo VS The Enhancer In a short and sweet match Diablo establishes himself as a major threat to the Cruiserweight Champion. His finisher, Pagan Ways, looks especially brutal and could bring Magnifico's reign to an end.
Winner: Diablo *1/2
Match 6: Winter VS Tempest Winter puts her guaranteed title shot on the line against Tempest as a reponse to the chatter behind the scenes that she only has it because of Lord Evermore. She proves that she doesn't need a man to fight her battles for her as she manages to get out of the way of Tempest's Headshot and hits her with a finisher of her own.
Winner: Winter ***
Match 7: Television Championship - Grifter VS Mack Caliber It is clear that the Reptile House's influence behind the scenes is growing, as that is the only way to explain why Grifter is getting a title shot here. The Ranger's right hand man comes at Mack with his usual game plan, but he quickly figures out that it isn't working. Mack Caliber is no stranger to underhanded tactics himself and has a counter for every dirty trick in Grifter's book. It turns out that Grifter is a surprisingly decent in-ring competitor when he has to, but the Television Champion unfortunately also outclasses him on that front. As he hits the Magnum Slug we switch to a camera backstage and see that Lord Evermore is watching the match, studying his future opponent. A confrontation is inevitable, but when will these two men meet?
Winner Mack Caliber **

Friday Fight Season Week 2, March Year 1
Match 1: Silvergod VS Grand Manga VS Flint Decker Silvergod thought he was going to have a one on one match with fellow legend Grand Manga, but ahead of this broadcast Decker got himself added to this bout. Silvergod wants no part of his younger brother and rolls out of the ring, leaving Manga and Decker to duke it out. After the two men have worn each other down Silvergod re-appears and throws Flint to the outside to inflict further punishment on Manga. Once he has recovered a bit Decker returns, at which point Silvergod turn tail again, leaving an exhausted Grand Manga as an easy target for a First Class and a 1-2-3.
Winner: Flint Decker ***
Match 2: Dark Arts VS Magnifico & Northwood Kingdom The members of the Dark Arts have a new mission: capture the Cruiserweight Title. To even the odds the members of Northwood Kingdom have offered to back Magnifico up. Claymore and Evermore end up doing most of the work for their team as Magnifico seems to freeze up whenever he is confronted by Diablo. Eventually the champ snaps out of it and he and Diablo brawl to the back. Claymore and Evermore now only have to deal with Grimcraft and Child of C'thulu, which is a challenge they have faced before. Each time these men collide the match seems to get a little bit better and this is no exception. The crowd goes nuts as Claymore finally gets the pin on Grimcraft.
Winners: Magnifico & Northwood Kingdom ***1/2
Mack Caliber speaks. He tells the people that Winter will be cashing in the title shot she earned at Couples Therapy in tonight's main event. Mack knows that Evermore also has a shot at the Television Championship, the title that Caliber holds. He acknowledges that Evermore is an impressive wrestler, but that he is not better than Mack Caliber. Whenever Evermore is ready to cash in his shot, Caliber will be waiting. ****
Match 3: Sgt. Hardbody VS Warhawk The Nomad Gang and Brute Force renew hostilities in this one on one encounter between Hardbody and Warhawk. Both women's tag team partners are at ringside, which ends up costing Warhawk the match. Belle trips her up as she charges at Hardbody and the Sergeant quickly rolls her up. The Nomads get mad and a brawl breaks out as we cut to commercials.
Winner: Sgt. Hardbody **1/2
Match 4: Brooklyn Belle VS Paradise As we return from the break another match has been made. Paradise gets an opportunity to get revenge on Belle for costing Warhawk the match. All other people are banned from ringside, so this match is a huge improvement over the encounter we saw earlier on this show. As Paradise gets the upper hand, Belle resorts to her old tricks and after poking Paradise in the eye when the ref's back is turned she gets a leverage pin.
Winner: Brooklyn Belle ***
Reaver speaks with Gunslinger. Reaver will be in the March Madness tournament and he is planning to win it all and secure a spot in the main event of Champ Clash. He hopes Gunslinger will be waiting for him there after he takes the title from Reptile Ranger at March Madness. ***1/2
Match 5: Mindbenders VS Zombie Punk & Chester Blood Both the Mindbenders and their opponents tonight have both had some success recently, but for one of these teams that run of good luck is about to end. When and Mystic are beginning to hit their stride as a tag team and they isolate Zombie Punk in their corner. The referee probably got a scolding backstage after letting Belle and Hardbody get away with so much rule-breaking, because he is watching Blood like a hawk. With Chester unable to interfere on his partner's behalf, this one is a done deal.
Winners: Mindbenders **1/2
The Reptile House are out in full force and their leader calls out Gunslinger. The number one contender comes out, but remains at a safe distance. Knowing fully well what would happen if he got into the ring with the five devious men currently in it. Reptile Ranger and Gunslinger have a war of words, in which Ranger preys on Gunslinger's insecurities and... it seemed to be working? ****
Match 6: El Tecnico Rojo VS Concrete Charlie A shot at the Cruiserweight Championship is at stake here, so the match gets off to an intense start. Both men hit their big moves right out of the gate. Charlie botches the Mugshot, which gives Rojo the opening he needs to counter with a Brain Drain.
Winner: El Tecnico Rojo **1/2
Match 7: Ladies Championship - Winter VS Mother Mercy Winter's recent streak of wins has made her confident, a bit too confident perhaps. She charges at Mercy as soon as the bell rings, but she gets scooped up and powerbombed down. This initial setback makes her reconsider her tactics and she becomes approaches the champ a bit more careful the second time around. There is no need for Mother Mercy to deviate from her usual tactics, as her devastating power game hasn't failed her yet. And tonight is no exception. No one is kicking out of the No Mercy.
Winner: Mother Mercy **1/2

The Wrestling Classic Week 3, March Year 1
Match 1: Captain Danger VS Concrete Charlie VS Child of C'thulu Three guys who haven't had the best of luck as of late get a chance to get back on the winning track. Neither Danger nor Charlie look particularly thrilled when Child of C'thulu is the one who walks away victorious.
Winner: Child of C'thulu *1/2
Match 2: Hearse & Europa VS Pete Sinclair & Wally Saratoga To the surprise of many Sinclair and Saratoga are still undefeated as a tag team, mostly due to sheer luck. Tonight they are up against their most dangerous opponents yet, as the Reptile House's Hearse and Europa are looking to rise through the tag team ranks. It doesn't take long for Europa to realise that his team vastly outclasses their opponents and he chooses to chill out in the corner while Hearse ragdolls Pete and Wally.
Winners: Hearse & Europa **
We stay with the tag division, as the Gage Guyz and Mindbenders sign a contract for a match at March Madness. The champions want to give as many young guys as they can a chance to prove to themselves. The Mindbenders are offended because it seems like the champs think the match's result is a foregone conclusion. Things get tense between the two teams. ****1/2
Match 3: Silvergod VS Timmy Tough There is a March Madness spot on the line in this match and Timmy Tough is fired up. Will this be the night that he finally breaks his losing streak and starts his ascent to stardom? No. No, it's not.
Winner: Silvergod **
Cutie Pie interviews Flint Decker. Decker has already secured himself entry into the March Madness tournament and he will be facing a mystery opponent. He will beat this mystery opponent and any other opponent that is put in front of him, get a spot in the main event of Champ Clash and become the World Heavyweight Champion. But there is still some unfinished business between himself and Silvergod. He hopes to meet him in the tournament. *****
Match 4: Grand Manga VS Sherman Turk The final spot on the March Madness card will be filled by the winner of this match, and to everyone's surprise it is Sherman Tu... no, it's not. Just kidding. It's Grand Manga, of course it is.
Winner: Grand Manga **1/2
Greg Quebec says that it doesn't matter who the other seven men in the tournament are. They will all be Qannonballed into oblivion. Champ Clash will become the GQ show. ****1/2
Match 5: Gunslinger & Reaver VS Grifter & Reptile Ranger Gunslinger and Reaver team up against their sworn foes, the Reptile House. Grifter and Reptile Ranger are accompanied to the ring by Komodo, who tries to sway the odds in his team's favor, while Grifter takes care of most of the work inside the ring. The World Champion barely gets involved and it does end up costing them the match, but it seems like a good strategy. Gunslinger and Reaver are a lot worse for wear, while Ranger is still in tip top shape ahead of his title defence.
Winners: Gunslinger & Reaver ***1/2
Match 6: Cruiserweight Championship - El Tecnico Rojo VS Magnifico El Tecnico Rojo gets the title shot he earned last week. The two luchadors have a fun, entertaining match that doesn't have much heat behind it. In the end it is the champion who stands tall. The two men shake hands as the night ends with one final hype video for March Madness.
Winner: Magnifico ***

March Madness Week 4, March Year 1
Match 1: 1st Round Match - Reaver VS Grifter Reaver's quest to get revenge on the entirety of the Reptile House starts with this match. He disposes of Grifter and is one match closer to a confrontation with the World Champion.
Winner: Reaver ***
Match 2: 1st Round Match - Greg Quebec VS El Tecnico Rojo In a rematch from last month's Couples Therapy Quebec and Rojo square off once again. Rojo gets the upper hand on this occassion and ties the series between the two bitter rivals at 1-1.
Winner: El Tecnico Rojo ***
Match 3: 1st Round Match - Silvergod VS Grand Manga Two ABCW legends finally get the one on one match they were scheduled to have earlier this month. Decker doesn't get involved this time around, so there is no one to save Manga from Silvergod's cruelty.
Winner: Silvergod **1/2
Match 4: 1st Round Match - Flint Decker VS Johnny Kobra Flint was promised a match against a surprise opponent and what a surprise it is! Former Cruiserweight Champion Johnny Kobra has his sights set on the biggest prize in XPW. He taunts Decker during the match, reminding him of all the times he whooped his father's behind. I cannot recall a single victory of Kobra over Average Guy though, it must have happened in a dark match. Flint proves to be every bit the athlete his father was and then some. Decker is victorious.
Winner: Flint Decker ***
Match 5: Tag Team Championship - The Mindbenders VS Gage Guyz The Mindbenders are young, hungry and eager to impress. They try to overwhelm their opponents with a lightning speed barrage of high flying moves. Their tactics seem to be effective at first, but they get overconfident. First the Gages get a chance to come back when Mystic plays to the crowd, but Professor When seals his team's fate when he misses a high risk move off the top rope. With a little more experience the Mindbenders could be champions in XPW some day, but it won't be tonight.
Winners: Gage Guyz **1/2
Match 6: Semi-Final Match - Reaver VS El Tecnico Rojo Reaver and Rojo have both gone through grueling and personal battles in the first round, so they are relieved to find a respectful opponent in round two. That does not stop them from giving this bout everything they've got though. There is still a World Title shot at stake here after all. Rojo had his knee injured by Quebec in the last match, so he cannot rely on his usual high-flying style. Going out of his comfort zone does cost him, as Reaver seals his fate with a Demon Slayer.
Winner: Reaver ***1/2
Match 7: Semi-Final Match - Silvergod VS Flint Decker There is nowhere left to run for Silvergod. If he wants a shot at the top prize, he'll have to go straight through his baby brother. Decker won't complain though, he has wanted this match for years. Decker doesn't succeed in beating some sense in Silvergod, but beat him he does.
Winner: Flint Decker ***
Match 8: World Championship - Gunslinger VS Reptile Ranger The moment is finally here for Gunslinger. There are no surprise last-minute entrants. No members of the Reptile House at ringside. It is just him and the champ. This is his big chance and he feels... nervous. The mind games of the Ranger seem to have gotten to him. Gunslinger takes a deep breath and prepares for the match to start.
The bell rings and the match is off to a slow start. Reptile Ranger is calm and methodical and punishes Gunslinger for every little mistake he makes. Every time he does the boos for the champion get louder, as do the cheers for the challenger. Gunslinger starts feeding on the crowd's energy and business starts to pick up. His movements get more fluid, his strikes get harder and he finally gets his head in the game. It seems like all is lost for the leader of the Reptile House.
The Ranger gives his cronies the signal and Hearse and Europa come out. They drag an bloody, bruised and beaten Zeta Quade onto the stage and hold him up for Gunslinger to see. All the confidence the cowboy had earlier instantly disappears. He gets dropped on his head with a Down Under DDT and Reptile Ranger follows it up with the No Escape.
Winner: Reptile Ranger **1/2
Match 9: March Madness Finals - Reaver VS Flint Decker A video is shown, recapping the events that lead up to this grand finale. Reaver pinning a bloodied Grifter. Decker putting away Kobra with his dad's old finisher, the Average Elbow. Reaver's impactful Demon Slayer on El Tecnico Rojo. Silvergod getting bested after being hit with his own Lone Star Smash. Both men have had a long and difficult road to this main event, but if they want the honor of challenging the world champion in the main event of Champ Clash there is one last challenge they have to overcome.
Both man seem right at home in a pay-per-view main event and they should be key players in XPW for years to come. They put aside all their fatigue, all their injuries and all the personal issues that are plagueing them and they focus on only one thing: besting the other man. They hit each other with amazing power moves, as well as some high flying manouvers that one would only expect from cruiserweights. Flint uses every move in the family playbook, but nothing can keep the resilient Reaver down for long. Reaver knows that if he wants to avoid the same problem, he'll have to go to a dark place in his mind. He hits Decker's skull with a devastating Brain Basher, the very same move that Grifter tried to hit on his in the first match of this show. Then it is time for the Demon Slayer. 1... 2....
Winner: Reaver ***1/2

BattleBrawl Week 1, April Year 1
We are on the road to Champ Clash and everyone is looking for a spot on the card. Warhawk and Paradise want a shot at the Ladies Tag Team Championship, but they are interrupted by Candy Cotton and Sugar Skull, who also want a high stakes match with Destiny and Pink Champagne. ***
Match 1: Molly Oliver VS Sgt. Hardbody Mother Mercy needs a challenger at Champ Clash, so Tiffany Fantasy announced a four woman number one contender's tournament. In the opening match Molly Oliver finally gets the chance to prove that she belongs in the upper echelons of the division, but she comes up short against her more experienced opponent.
Winner: Sgt. Hardbody **
Match 2: Hearse & Europa VS Timmy Tough & Sherman Turk Hearse and Europa are still gloating about what they did to Zeta Quade at the pay-per-view and are looking to do the same thing to Tough and Turk tonight. The journeymen put up a vailliant fight but they are simply not up to the challenge.
Winners: Hearse & Europa **
Gunslinger has been watching the match on a monitor backstage. He is still shaken to his core by the cruel actions of the Reptile House. He is surprised when he is approached by Zeta Quade. It seems like Zeta has been cleared for next week's show and he is looking for revenge on Hearse and Europa. He gives Gunslinger a pep talk and tells him that he wants the cowboy to fight alongside him. ****1/2
Match 3: Scaffold Match - Claymore the Brave VS Grimcraft The feud between the Dark Arts and Northwood Kingdom has been raised to new heights. Literally. Grimcraft and Claymore battle it out high above the ring. They start out cautiously, but as tempers flare they start becoming more and more reckless. A spear by Claymore sends both men plummeting towards the canvas, but Grimcraft's cape gets stuck on the scaffolding, almost hanging Doomsayer's disciple. Grimcraft wins on a technicality, but it is Claymore who comes out of this match looking like a warrior.
Winner: Grimcraft ***
Match 4: Tempest VS Brooklyn Belle The second match in the #1 contender's tournament pits the other member of Brute Force against the leader of the Nomad Gang. Sgt. Hardbody's earlier succes has made Brooklyn Belle confident heading into this match. A bit too confident perhaps. Belle poses and postures after every single move, giving Tempest plenty of opportunity to mount a comeback.
Winner: Tempest ***
Match 5: Lord Evermore VS Concrete Charlie Before tonight's show an announcement was made on XPW's social media that Lord Evermore will be cashing in his title shot at Champ Clash. Before he can meet Mack Caliber at XPW's biggest stage, he will have to deal with another man that had his sights set on the gold. Concrete Charlie cannot compete with Evermore in terms of in-ring skill, but he does outmatch him when it comes to craftiness. Charlie takes the fight outside of the ring and into the crowd, where his goons manage to interfere on his behalf. Evermore is unfazed and fights every single one of them, including Charlie. As the battle rages on the referee has reached a count of ten. This one is over.
Double Count-out ***
Reaver cuts a promo. He compliments Flint Decker for putting up a great fight and hopes that they can meet in the ring again some day. But for now his sights are set on the World Championship. Reptile Ranger had better watch his back. ****1/2
Match 6: Ladder Match - Diablo, Johnny Kobra & Chester Blood VS Super Scuzz, El Tecnico Rojo & Mystic There is a match contract suspended high above the ring. The winning team will get to put their signatures on it, so they can have a triple threat match to determine the new number one contender for the Cruiserweight Championship. The members of each team have little to no experience tagging together, but it is the good guys who start to gel as a unit first. This makes Diablo, Kobra and Blood realise that they need to put their differences aside, just for tonight. Diablo's spectacular moves, Kobra's experience and Chester's high in-ring IQ prove to be a lethal combination and it is Diablo who scales the ladder and retrieves the contract.
Winners: Diablo, Johnny Kobra & Chester Blood **1/2
