Friday Fight Season
Week 2, April Year 1
The show starts with dueling promos between Tempest and Sergeant Hardbody. Both women claim that they will become the new Ladies Champion at Champ Clash. They are interrupted by the current champ, Mother Mercy, who says that it doesn't matter who becomes the number one contender, she will batter any woman foolish enough to step up to her. ****
Match 1: Desert Storm VS Jawbreakers
In a match that could have gone either way the ladies of Desert Storm become the new number one contenders to the Tag Team Championship after Warhawk hit the Spark of Hope on Sugar Skull.
Winners: Desert Storm **1/2
Diablo is standing in the ring. Grimcraft, still badly injured from his scaffold match, is alongside him and he tells the audience that Diablo will beat Johnny Kobra and Chester Blood to become the new number one contender. Chester Blood comes out and says that they won't have to worry about Kobra anymore, implying that he has taken him out already. Blood and Grimcraft have a back and forth on the mic, when Magnifico makes his entrance and heroically says that he will fight both men at the same time. Chester smirks, while Diablo doesn't move a muscle. Grimcraft tells Magnifico that Diablo will not only take the gold, but that he will also reveal Magnifico's dirty little secret. **1/2
Grand Manga is about to have a match, but he is surprise attacked by Silvergod. Silvergod viciouly beats down the legend, until officials come out and drag him out of the arena. Grand Manga is stretchered out of the arena. ***
Match 2: Gunslinger & Zeta Quade VS Numbskulls
Quade and Slinger work surprisingly well as a tag team and they make quick work of their opponents. Their impressive first outing as a duo will likely not go unnoticed by the matchmakers.
Winners: Gunslinger & Zeta Quade ***
Jakob Hearse and Mr. Europa are talking about how they should have put Quade in the hospital when they had the chance. They won't be so merciful the next time they meet in the ring. Reaver walks up to them and says that Europa and Hearse should tell their boss that Reaver is coming for them. ****
Match 3: Komodo VS The Enhancer
In a short match Komodo shows the audience why he is a force to be reckoned with.
Winner: Komodo *1/2
Lord Evermore will be challenging for the Television Championship at Champ Clash. He would love for this match to be against his best friend and he wishes Claymore good luck in tonight's main event. ****1/2
Match 4: Child of C'thulu VS Flint Decker
With his path to Champ Clash still unclear as of yet, Flint Decker is looking to make an impression tonight. His mind must be on his brother's hideous actions earlier tonight, but he doesn't let this distract him from this match.
Winner: Flint Decker **1/2
Match 5: Television Championship - Claymore the Brave VS Mack Caliber
The commentators tell us that this match was made on the request of Mack Caliber. It seems like the Television Champion is looking to send a message to Lord Evermore ahead of their confrontation at Champ Clash. There is never any doubt as to who will walk out of this match as the victor. Claymore is still banged up from his scaffold match on last week's show. His ribs are taped up, there are visible wounds on his face and arms and he is walking with a slight limp. Caliber exploits all of his opponents weaknesses and pins the Brave after hitting his signature Vanilla Icebreaker.
Winner: Mack Caliber ***
