Hillbilly Jim was the basics for the Uncle Haystack Mullet fan character over in the RPG section on the board. Basically Hillbilly Jim + Uncle Jesse Duke (as the Mullet Cousins are kinda the Duke Boys as heels).
Full disclosure: I created him as a background character for my character's valet Rebecca.

Gentleman Jack Mullet: Married to Babe Mullet and changed his name to Mullet to be adopted to his family. A generic gentleman wrestler type.
Buba Mullet: Adopted son of Babe and Gentlemen Jack. Aisan. Farmer. Wrestler. Member of the wrestling tag team the Mullet Brothers (based loosly on a wrestling brother team whose name I can't remember). Aisan.
Um...forgot the name I gave him Mullet: The other brother, adopted. Black. Tag team with his brother.
Rebecca Mullet: Natural daughter of Babe and Gentlemen Jack. Wrestling valet to Stanley the Weeb.
Stanley Steriaca: My PC in the board rpg. Wrestles under the name Stanley the Weeb (for now). Engaged to Rebecca Mullet. Based loosly on my love of anime.

From a non-wrestler point of view, I would like Teela, Mumm-Ra (need a feud for Mighty Leo), April O'Neil (manager) and a JCVD mix from bloosport/kickboxer given we have a parody for Stallone, Arnie and Kurt Russel. If we got a JCVD parody we would obviously need a feud for him - Enter Tong Po / Chong Li hybrid! Primetime21 pretty much nailed the missing 80s wrestlers with the exception of the Bushwhackers! For Mumm-ra you could do a character with a double version...a humanoid one based on Serpente from GiJoe whose alt looks more like Mumm-ra, complete with greyish skin and ghoulish features this gets you a feud with both Warhawk and Leo. As for a JCVD card ..easy name be would be Brussel Muscle or Russel Brussels your Tong Po card could double up as a Sagat card for a Max Attack 90s feud. |

there's still a bunch missing and in the interest of keeping the game from getting even more overcrowded they could start smashing 2 or 3 wrestlers together that had similar gimmicks or whatever. A few still missing:

Magnum TA (based on Magnum PI, go ahead and combine that into the game)
Nikita Koloff (got a couple Russians now but not quite Nikita. Maybe throw a Zangief reference in)

Tiger Mask (got a parody of Black Tiger called Poison Frog, just make the good version of that)

I could come up with a hundred I like the idea of "throwing" a few together but would go one step further and "merge" some existing cards - Do we need two Exotic Ricks in the 80s? One card from 80-89, combine the feuds and tags and avoids the hassle of figuring out which one to use during a 85-89 playthrough....you could also "merge" the two copper/cobalt, two masakaris etc |

Maybe the art for one version of Dragonfly can be updated to include more references to JCVD. If so, maybe also alter the face version of Flex Deltoid to make him a bit more patriotic and different from the heel version.

I'd like a classic throwback Native American gimmick with the works. The head dress, the hatchet, all of it. I know in this day and age it seems its a touchy subject but those types of gimmicks have always been a part of wrestling. Is it any more offensive than portraying Pacific Islanders as bare foot savages? They're in the game. Doesnt have to be Tatanka entirely. Chief Jay Strongbow, Wahoo McDaniel and the Youngbloods could be incorporated. Have an 80s and a 90s version. And I agree with merging cards or whatever. There's so many now and many more that could be added. Maybe there's a better way to organize them so they're easier to comb through. I'd like to see a way to basically have a brand draft where you can have 3 or 4 feds going at once without shipping them off for a year. That would give you a WWF, an NWA/WCW, an ECW/FMW/Indy and an extra to toss pop culture and unwanted cards off in. In a way I feel like the game has outgrown itself. It really seems like at this point it would work better as an actual console game. Doesnt have to be anything crazy like the WWE 2K games. If anyone is familiar with the Super Mega Baseball game, do that but with wrestling. |

Get one of the current Russians to have a 90s alt for that. But why stop there....you could have a 90s Dangerzone that looks like Guile..maybe flip the Mystic Maan in the 90s as Dhalsim...etc. |
