I'd like a Bruiser Brody & Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Bandsaw Bob (mashup of Jim Duggan and Bob Vila) Appearance: jeans, boots, plaid shirt cut at the sleeves. Mullet cut, shades. Wears toolbelt around the waist. Holds 2x4(or some piece of wood) in his hand. Good - Patriot Feuds - Mad Arab (Contrarian Affair), Hammerhead (Cold War 2.0), Pierre the Enormous (Felling Oaks), Sumo San (Patriotic Stance) Tag teams: Major Malice Trio: Major Malice, Dude Brohan (80s) - Flag Bearers Finisher: True Tackle |

I like those tag and feud suggestions. Both are neat.
The other two wrestlers I'd like to see are Kamala and The Great Kabuki. Both already have cards that are kind of similar, but they just don't quite do it for me .

His entire gimmick was "wild, savage, stupid black cannibal who is kinda entirely controlled by a white masked big game hunter". That just won't jive with anyone today...including anyone out there who plays this game which is of African Ancestry. Now, the character is doable if we play down the savage part and add a bit of African Pride. Mash him up with another wrestler, Akem the African Dream (who ironically was a white guy named the One Man Gang). But honestly, would the mashup be less insulting or more? |

This is one of the biggest questions I think about: given that representation matters, how can we make that representation as meaningful as possible? This is true for African wrestlers, Latino wrestlers, Asian wrestlers, Native American Wrestlers. Fortunately it's not an either/or issue, it's more of a spectrum. - The worst case would be to not have any diverse wrestler representation at all. (Not an issue with 80MWR)
- The marginally better case would be to have stereotypical representation: i.e. Kamala (Rare in 80MWR, but stereotypes in wrestling and in culture do have some side effects--they did right by handling issues with Thugees/Mad Arab)
- The better case would be to have respectful diverse wrestler representation (This is where I would put almost all the 80MWR)
- The ideal case would be to have diverse wrestler representation that is respectful and led by people of color within the community of gamers and fans (Tricky given the anonymity of this community)
I don't think there's a quick or easy answer, but I trust the developers to be thoughtful in pursuing the best case as best they can. (Three African suggestions from my cursory search of the interwebs; Power Mike ((more a 70s guy, but he has interesting ties to Mil Mascaras)), Power Uti ((Right timing but...uh...you'll see) , Power Lee ((seems more for MMW)), but as arguably the whitest guy on the planet, I'll gladly defer to others) |

i.e. A Miss Elizabeth parody for the Randy Savage parody.
I get it...she died tragically..but she deserves to me remembered as the beautiful lady she was and what better way than by representing her with the dignity her character carried herself with?
Plus...she died tragically and lime Lex got in....
