Valedictorian needs his Anna Roll ("Honor Roll" get it?) Valet card. i.e. A Miss Elizabeth parody for the Randy Savage parody. I get it...she died tragically..but she deserves to me remembered as the beautiful lady she was and what better way than by representing her with the dignity her character carried herself with? Plus...she died tragically and lime Lex got in.... After reading her bio on Wikipedia, I have to say "why not". She drugged/drank herself to death, but there is no real shame in that. It's not like she killed someone then herself. Nor raped someone underage. There are enough real life wrestlers who did unspeakable things and are now persona non grata in the WWE...

I mean, I guess one is one too many, but there aren’t that many wrestlers on a hard blacklist. Benoit, Snuka… who else? Like, if Buck Zumhofe didn’t commit his crimes, would he have been mentioned by WWE at any point in the last two decades? Highly unlikely. I don’t think we’re ever going to hear about Sunny again given Tammy’s recent transgression, but that’s about the only other person I can think of. Meanwhile, there are a ton of wrestlers with problematic pasts that WWE still embraces. I know I’ve been pretty vocal on this board about why certain legacies should be avoided, but there are very few people where the morality of what they did is black-or-white; the vast majority fall in the gray. It is pretty much reserved for those who are actually convicted of the most heinous of crimes. And for WWE, it is pretty much exclusively a PR driven business decision and not guided by actual moral conviction. If Vince had his way, people like Jimmy Snuka and Fabulous Moolah would still be celebrated… and they were for decades.

If Vince had his way, people like Jimmy Snuka and Fabulous Moolah would still be celebrated… and they were for decades. True. Over the years it's more than proven to be very much a "saintless industry". There's obviously a "line" to be drawn somewhere...I mean I think it's safe to say that someone like Benoit will likely never get in...but I think that people like Snuka and Moolah are a bit more far-removed from the generation that now consumes things like Dark Side of the Ring but who didn't necessarily enjoy them back in their heyday. Take me for example, I was a MASSIVE Hogan mark in 80s (to the point where I spent an hour in line to take a picture with a life-sized cutout of him in Flushing Meadow Park in Queens, NY) and while over my later years I started learning more about the steroids, the politicking and the um...poor moral choices the guy has made...as a character he'll always be up there...as a professional, there are questions to be asked...as a father, well let's not go there LMAO! I mean if we're gonna hold court today based on these wrestler's lives then the resulting deck might even be enough to book a show to completion LOL.

Gepetto Rocco is Sammartino, and Haka Tonga is Snuka, but I love the other suggestions. Now which one of these guys is most like a pufferfish?

I honestly don't have a ton of interest in non-wrestler parodies, and lot of the late 90s ones have been repeated multiple times here, so I'll mention a few 80s ones I'd like to see. Tully Blanchard Magnum TA Hillbilly Jim (maybe tag team with Uncle Elmer?) Paul Orndorff Paul Roma (team with Ruffules and the aforementioned Orndorff) Butch Reed (also tag team with Ron Simmons who exists in the 90s in his APA parody) Don Muraco/Bob Orton King Kong Bundy (is Chief Buffalo supposed to be him?)/Big John Studd Greg Valentine (tag with Studmuffin alt) Dory Funk Jr. (hell I'd even take Jimmy Jack for a trio) Barry Windham (tag with Yuppie VP alt) George "The Animal Steele" Harley Race buffalo is chief jay strongbow

I never knew Strongbow as a heel and lasting until 1999 doesn't make a lot of sense. Maybe it's Strongbow mashed with someone else.

Idk who else it can be but strongbow was 70s - 80s so maybe mash up and probably be changed for 90s eventually. Question is who is troglo 80s?

No DDP as yet. Is one I'd love to see. Dean Malenko and Chris Jericho as well.

Especially when the game first came out, I think a few characters weren’t meant to be direct references to specific wrestlers so much as they were meant to represent wrestler archetypes.
The foreign heel, the wrestling wild man, the hillbilly, the army guy, etc
It was only after some success and the roster expanded that we got a bunch of ‘ok I know who that’s supposed to be but who is…’ type questions.
Troglo was a wrestling cavemen because it seemed like every territory in the 80s had some version of a wrestler from Parts Unkown who was an uncontrollable savage. The genius move was turning him into Mrs Troglowsky’s Baby Boy in the 90s

Yeah I think of Troglo like a Slashmaster or Ace Arcadium--a 80s character based on pop culture who turns into a 90s character based on a wrestler.
