I gave this a lot of thought...Paul Orndorff was a big deal in the 80s...and while you can get a handful of feuds...there's still the issue of him maybe being a little too on the fringe....like Muraco...so I wracked my brain trying to com up with another 80s icon to bind with...and I almost gave up when I saw a clip of Paul sporting a mustache....and then it came to me...since this great game already pays homage to another great 80s game..why not dip into that pot again...so I give you:
Name: Kaiser Wunderbar Gimmick: A mashup of Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff and Von Kaiser from Punch Out. Appearance: Wears robe, sports big ol mustache, maybe wears boxing wraps... Fans: Heel Period: 1980-1995. Style: Specimen
Feuds: - Double FInish (w/ Dude Brohan) (They feuded in the 80s) - Ze Zlugfaust (w/Max Attack 80s) (They fight each other in Punch OUt) - Shower Slugfest (w/ Big Bad Doctor) (You all know the story) - Body Brawl (w/ Exotic Rick) (they fueded in WWF in the 80s)
Whatta ya think?

Paul is definitely one I'd like to see in some form.

Herr Wunderbar is also a possible name if Kaiser is a little too on the nose for Punch Out... Wouldn't want Nintendo getting their knickers in a twist lol.

Great idea, but ways adding more classics is great. Let's not forget he teamed with Piper on Piper's Pit when Piper crushed the coconut over his head, and they feuded with Snuka and Tonga Kid, and again with Piper in the main event of WM1 against Hogan and Mr T.
On the flip side, Piper and Bob Orton Jr. turned on him at SNME1, but Orndorf came back later, I think with a chair, and stopped Piper/Orton from Double teaming Hogan to turn face and start tagging with Hogan.
To be honest he was one of my favorites as a kid, and when WWF came out with toy ring with bungee ropes and rubber wrestlers, he was one of the first two I got. Him and Ted DiBiase could be heels or faces and I still liked watching them work. As a younger kid I got to see Mid South Wrestling from around 79 and watched later evolve into the first version of wrestlings UWF. Cowboy Bill Watts asked "What's bigger than the world", and answered "The Universe", only he did it too late after he lost too many greats, including Orndorf, to WWF by then, and made stupid business ans behind the scenes personal mistakes (Dark Journey real backstage stories for those who know what I'm talking about.)
God, I turned what wS supposed to be a simple post. So;
If we have hime, we need a face and heel version available all the years pretty much, because he flipped sides more than Big Show. Plus you should look up all his feuds in Mid South from 80-83 (a lot are already in the game too)
Sorry for the reminiscing, but if I try to do TLDR then I probably won't stop.

Love it, one I have particularly pushed for main evented wrestle mania 2, and quickest funniest win in wrestle mania history for the era year before at WM 1- King Kong Bundy. Can’t have 80s without him Then in 90s, maybe 95 he can transition into an Al Bundy spinoff. Seems it’s on the mark. 4 tds one game, and bundy appeared on the show oddly as part of Peggy’s family. Several big feuds- brohan , enormous etc Tag- when they make a studd be dominant Manager-thinker, he was acquired in trade which was awesome for 2 guys from jimmy hart- link and Adonis He’s from ac, nj- it needs to be a venue it hosted b2b manias 4 n 5 he would get bonus there. He be main eventer, hulk, decent mic n good pop, average skill and like a 16 push foiled. And the 90s lack some lower talent so the Al bundy be a nice transition. Any thoughts?

Aj, just remember he was part of Sting's Stable that the announcers kept trying to push the name of "The Superheros" during interviews with Sting, who constantly corrected them that he preffered "Dudes With Attitudes" that also included Luger. The Steiners, JYD, and the always fearsome El Gigante to basically back each other up from all of "The Four Horsemen's" interference and attacks out of ring. Didn't last long, but they did have a PPV match against the Horsemen at Starcade 90. It actually felt great because "I" could see a use of Orndorf/JYD as the older guys, close to stepping down more, to help try to legitimize the younger ones.
If there is a Multiverse out there, I would really love to see a swerve heel turn by by Sting, Luger, and Steiners, with Orndorf managing. And, they don't just beat the horsemen, but steal their faction name. Thus disbanding the horsemen for a while at least, and each going separate ways for some other storylines, with them splitting between heels still smf face turns. Could have had some great feuds with each other. Also it would be tun to watch who would try to feud with and take down the new Horsemen.

Thinking about it now...if we ever get Orndorff we'd only be one Bundy and one LT shy of being able to replicate the Main Events of every WrestleMania up until and including XV.
