Fourth from left looks like he could have Wolverine style sideburns. Superhero theme? Excited no matter what! I think it's that one girl from the lion show I forgot the name of If its the same as Mighty Leo it would be Cheetarah or Wilykat from Thundercats. |

I'm trying to think of what the biggest letdown could be, and I don't think there is one.
I usually don't like the ones just based on wrestlers, or the super obscure reference I don't understand -- but even those? I think I'd be a fan of.
Let's play a new game. Come up with character ideas that I could possibly hate. I dare you.

Ugh, is it Summerslam yet? Also, is it sad that I'm more excited for this announcement than I am for the actual show? Count me with you Ace. Brock v Roman LXIV? That’s an excuse to go to bed early, regardless of the result. Owens v Strowman will be fun, because they’re both excellent at what they do, as will be Bryan v Miz. I’m hoping AJ and Joe channel the 2012 versions of themselves, and Ziggler v Rollins could tear the house down. Other than that, meh. As far as an idea you’d hate... since the guys based off wrestlers aren’t your favorite, a series of tag teams based on mid-80’s AWA and Crockett guys. A Midnight Express, a Minnesota Wrecking Crew, and a Fabulous Freebirds set of teams. (Although I’d love them all.) I’ll make up for it with an idea I think you’ll love. 4 mutant lizards named after classical composers, with a mutant guinea pig for a manager? |

Super Pleatherface. Based on the wrestler "Super Leather", who in turn was based upon the horror movie " The Texas Chain Saw Massacre".
Papa Slam. Based upon The Smurfs (especially Papa Smurf), and Captian Lou Albino.
Wrestle Man. It's Superman as a professional wrestler. Buy all 12 number ones if his comic book, kids.
End Day. It's Doomsday as a professional wrestler. Hay kids! Pick up the special black bag "Destruction if Wrestle Man" comic book. Don't open it, or it'll lose it's resail value of 12 cents.

The awesome mullet on the guy 5th from the left makes me think of Dan Spivey for some reason. I'd love a "Tag Team of the 90's" who were only active from 88 to 89.  |

My thinking is that we have characters based on big movies of the '80s (Bug Buster, Drool, Arizona Chance, Prof. Gigawatt etc.) so why not one on ET? Or is there one and I just forgot about them?

I am honestly stoked for these, but if there isn't at least a tag team or two I'll be bummed. Tag Team Wrestling is easily my favorite part of this game and wrestling in general.

I'd say it's safe to assume we are getting at least one. Probably two. Perfect ratio would be two main eventers, two mid-carders, two tag-teams, two women upper cards, two women mid carders.
