I assumed the old version of the app would just be updated, but the new game is its own standalone app. Do we just go ahead and delete the old version? Will data still carry over, like if we want to keep our login streak until we get to say 30?

Your data from the old app will transfer over to the new one as you are signed into your Google Play Games (Android) or Game Center (iPhone) account.
What will not transfer over is your login streak. If you are close to getting a free token, you should probably not download the new app until you do. I don’t know if access to the old app will eventually be blocked. Once you do download the new version and can confirm all your data has carried over, you can delete the old version.

I know the streak doesn’t carry over, but what I meant was if I was a few days away from hitting 30 on the old game and would earn an extra token in a few days, would that sync up and carry over once earned? Or is the data sync a one time thing?
I already downloaded and opened the new app so whatever damage is done is done.

Anything you do in the old version after that will not carry over to the new one. |
