Superstar Saturday 01/5/80
The Boston Arena
Sold Out Crowd
(765/31/**)
1. In the opener, Mandonna defeats Pop King with the Borderline Clothesline. As he is returning to the back, he puts on the crown that Pop King wears to the ring, and leaves with it on his head.
2. The B-Boys over The Metalheads with the Potbelly Splash. The announcers informed the viewers that the winner of this match would be first in line to face the winner of the Neon Express/Executers title match being held at The Super Duper Show in 3 weeks.
3. Dungeon Crawler over GoblinKnight with the DragonLance. Goblin was accompanied by Gothica. After the pin, Gothica signaled to the back and another wrestler joined Goblin in double-teaming Dungeon Crawler. WoW security finally broke up the attack, and Gothica introduced the new wrestler as Keith Blood. She said that the ranks of her Goths were not yet complete.
4. Ace Arcadium, Dude Brohan, and Ninja Star competed in a Triple Threat match to determine the challenger for Dr. B’s World Title in a title match next week. Brohan gets the win with the Big Bro Leg Drop. The match was contested cleanly and all three showed respect for one another before and after the match.
5. Officer Chip over Moon Man with the Cop Drop. This was considered a bit of an upset as Moon Man was much more heralded coming in to WoW. During the match, Troglo came to ringside and watched the match with an blank, unreadable facial expression the entire time. As soon as the bell sounded, he wandered off through the crowd.
6. Keith Blood, with Gothica, over Michael T. Wolf with the Crucifix. Another post-match beatdown occurred, with a wrestler later identified as Zombie Punk joining Blood and GoblinKnight. Dungeon Crawler, swinging a big sword, hit the ring for the save and The Goths scattered.
7. Pelvis Presley, with Big Boss, Jr., beat Juan Tijuana with the Heartbreaker.
8. Arizona Chance beat Johnny Kobra with the Last Crusade.
9. Star Boy, with Mr. Bonsai, successfully defended the TV Title against his nemesis, The Piranha. He finished him off with the Flying Cross Chop. Piranha swore that he would get another title match and that he would be TV Champion.

Sunday Night Slam (01/13/1980) The Canada Centre Great Crowd (721/29/**)
1. We open with Ninja Shadow dominating Cletus Mullet, and putting him away with the Katana Kick/Shinobi Slam combo.
2. As Princess Starbright comes down the aisle for the next match, she greets many of the fans as she always does. A “fan” pops up at the last second and slams the Princess’ head into the guardrail. The fan is Starbright’s opponent, Valley Girl. Valley Girl has the upper hand for much of the match due to this early advantage, but Starbright makes a comeback. Ultimately, Val is able to put her opponent away with The Chill Pill. As Starbright recovers in the ring, Val goes underneath the ring and returns with a pair of scissors. She’s about to cut off one of the Princess’ pigtails, but Princess gets away at the last second. Val reminds the crowd that since she beat the Ladies’ Champion in a non-title match, she is now the #1 contender. 3. In what is viewed as another upset, the Insectoids defeat the Metalheads with the Cootie Shuffle. Cesar Sleeze rages after the loss to the point where he destroys part of the locker room before being physically restrained. 4. Gothica and The Goths cut a promo. She is with Keith Blood, GoblinKnight, and the Zombie Punk. She says that despite the evil you see gathered around her now, it’s still not enough. She’s one to believe that you can never have too much evil. She says the last evil to come is the vilest of all. He will slash his way through these pathetic excuses for wrestlers in WoW like Dungeon Crawler and “Michael T. Puppy”, and that WoW will never recover from The Goths reign of darkness.
5. Moon Man over Johnny Kobra with the Rocket Launch. Troglo is back. This time, he is obviously fixated on Moon Man. He grunts angrily when Moon Man is on offense, and offers a strange, laugh-like grunt when MM is being punished. As soon as the ref counts three, MM is on his feet confronting Troglo from the ring. They exchange words and grunts, and Troglo leaves through the crowd again. 6. Next up, WoW runs a commercial for the upcoming Super Duper Show in 2 weeks. It features the WoW tag team champions, The Neon Express, and their challengers, The Executers. Chet Skye says that this match will “Rock the very foundations of WoW”. Both teams promise they will leave the Super Duper Show with the belts. 7. Piranha and Troglo, a team dubbed by the fans as Neanderthals, defeated Nerd Alert with Piranha’s Outlaw Choke. During the match, whenever he or Troglo would be on offense, which was most of the time, Piranha would scream out Star Boy’s name and say that this is what the little brat has coming. He says that Star Boy can’t hide behind Bonsai this time. After the bell, Moon Man comes to ringside. He asks Troglo what his problem is. Piranha asks Moon Man if he really expects an answer. He asks Moon Man if he fears Troglo. Moon Man replies that he certainly does not. Piranha says that Troglo fears Moon Man. He doesn’t fear Moon Man the man, but he fears what Moon Man stands for. Moon Man is a future that Troglo cannot grasp in the slightest. How does Troglo think he can stop that future? By destroying Moon Man. Piranha that we all know this is a bunch of crap, but he doesn’t care. If Troglo takes out Moon Man then that’s one less contender he will have to worry about once he’s TV champ. Moon Man calls Piranha an idiot, and Piranha says that Troglo’s the idiot…I’m just the messenger. However, Troglo is a big, tough, strong, ass-kicking idiot, and he listens to me. 8. Honest Al interviews a newcomer, The Great Ginzu. The Thinker interprets. Ginzu says that Ninja Star disgraced his homeland when he didn’t win the Triple Threat Match, and then showed undeserved respect to his inferior opponents. Ginzu says that he was sent here from Japan to make sure Star never had to opportunity to dishonor himself, his family, or his homeland again. 9. Dude Brohan pinned Dr. B with the Big Bro Leg Drop to win the Wow World Title. This was B.’s first defense. He and Brohan had a stare-down after the bell, but B. left without incident. Several wrestlers, led by Haka Tonga and Enormous Pierre, came to the ring to congratulate Brohan. During the celebration, Brohan was accidently knocked into Pierre who standing on the apron. Pierre took a hard tumble to the ground. Brohan was about to go check on him when Ace Arcadium clapped him on the back. Brohan turned to greet Arcadium and never made it to assist Pierre. The Giant made it to his feet with assistance and tried to rejoin the celebration. However, by this point, Brohan and the crew of wrestlers had headed up the aisle, leaving a dejected Pierre standing in the ring.

Weekend Wrasslin’ 01/19/80 The Golden Plaza Great Crowd (664/35/**)
1. We open another show with Pop King taking on Mandonna. This time, Pop King wants his crown back. He tells Mandonna that crowns are for kings, and Mandonna replies that they are for queen’s too. Pop King admits that he never thought of it that way, but tells Mandonna to get his? her? own crown. Mandonna says that the queen likes this crown and thinks she will keep it unless PK can beat her. PK cannot beat her as she finishes him off with the Borderline. Mandonna plunks the crown over the bridal veil and dances to the back. 2. Haka Tonga over Johnny Kobra with the Supah Tonga Leap.
3. We cut to a remote broadcast from a gym where Dude Brohan is working out and talking about his win over Dr. B. As he’s talking, Enormous Pierre comes in with two giant mugs of beer. He says he wants to congratulate Brohan with a drink. Brohan says he appreciates the thought, but that he’s in training for his first title defense next week and is off beer for now. He says that Pierre should know that. Pierre says he’s sorry for not thinking. Brohan tells Pierre to put the mugs down and he might have a sip later. Seconds later, Brohan turns holding a barbell and accidentally breaks both mugs. He makes a fuss about the mess and tells Pierre it would’ve been better if he hadn’t brought them. 4. O’Hooligan beats Mr. Tycoon by Countout in a match to determine Brohan’s challenger at next week’s Super Duper Show. Yuppie VP comes out with Tycoon, but Tycoon sends him to the back. The crowd is torn at first, but come to support O’Hooligan for the most part. The countout comes when O’Hooligan and Tycoon are fighting outside the ring. Yuppie VP returns to help his partner. They miscommunicate and VP ends up taking Tycoon out. O’Hooligan barely beats the ref’s count and returns to the ring while Tycoon can’t.
5. Gothica and another lady wrestler are standing next to a high-tech TV display. The face of a man calling himself Rex Spectrum appears. Rex says he will get the cutting edge interviews today’s wrestling fan deserves, not the snooze-fest that a fossil like Honest Al is good at. Gothica says that this is Auntie Voodoo. She is not a member of the Goths, but she and Gothica share common interests and have become…acquaintances. Auntie said that she’s glad Gothica didn’t say friends because she doesn’t have or need friends. Gothica says that friends are a weakness to be expunged. Auntie looks at Gothica and says that the more she thinks about it, she doesn’t need acquaintances either. Gothica snarls at her and leaves. She looks at Rex on TV and says that she doesn’t talk to floating heads either. The only thing little heads are good for is sticking pins in and hurting people from afar. In the ring, she doesn’t need her dolls or her pins to hurt people. She holds up her fists and says she can do that with these. After she walks off, Rex begins talking about those cutting-edge interviews again. Honest Al walks up and turns the TV off.
6. The Insectoids are introduced first. Gothica then comes out with Keith Blood and Zombie Punk. She says it’s time to reveal the final member of the Goths, the Evil Amongst Evils, The Slashmaster. This behemoth in a hockey mask, carrying a machete, makes his way to ring, terrorizing anyone close to the railings as he does. Gothica convinces him, very carefully, to give up the machete before entering the ring. Zombie Punk returns it to the back. In the ring, Gothica says that being surrounded by all these evil beings is like having her very own Shop of Horrors. She decides she likes that phrase, and gives that name to Blood and Slashmaster right here. The Shop make short work of the Insectoids once the match begins with Blood finishing it off with the Crucifix.
7. Piranha puts away Star Boy in a non-title match with the Outlaw Choke. He demands another title shot next week at the Super Duper Show. He says that he will choke out Star Boy again, and if Mr. Bonsai interferes then he will go to sleep too. Star Boy says that he will never let Piranha get the Outlaw Choke on him again. He won’t make the same mistake twice. Piranha says that Star Boy can’t stop him. He adds that he’s so sure he can put on the Outlaw Choke any time he wants that he’s offering to make it a submission-win only match. Star Boy starts to respond and Mr. Bonsai tries to stop him. He accepts the challenge. The announcers point out that Star Boy’s aerial style has little to no moves that translate well in a submission-only setting.
8. Arizona Chance gave a fantastic promo talking about his plans in WoW. The crowd loved every word. He did address a rumor that a man he’s crossed paths with before might be coming to the promotion. If that’s the case, then Chance says his first job will be to make sure this man’s stay in WoW is very, very short. 9. Red Pirate Rogers and Pelvis Presley, with Big Boss, Jr., went to a 30-minute time-limit draw. Boss claimed the timekeeper rang the bell early to protect Rogers.

Super Duper Show 01/28/1980 Empire Gardens Decent Crowd 2005/36/***
1. Star Boy successfully defends the TV Title against The Piranha in a Submissions Match. Mr. Bonsai came to ringside with Star Boy, but Star asked him to return to the back. Star Boy’s “submission” came when he intercepted a foreign object that Troglo tried to throw to Piranha. He hit the Flying Cross Chop with the object in his hand. Piranha was knocked out, and since he couldn’t verbally submit the referee gave him a 10-count to get to his feet. He was unable to beat the 10-count. In the meantime, Moon Man attacked Troglo at ringside and the two fought up the aisle and into the back before being separated. 2. Pelvis Presley, w/ Big Boss, Jr., were interviewed by Rex Spectrum. Rex opened with a tirade about Honest Al cutting off his TV last week. Presley reminded him that they were there to talk about how WoW ripped him off in his title match with the Pirate. Boss said they had some footage. Rex didn’t want to leave the screen to show the footage but Boss threatened to have his wires clipped permanently. The screen cut to a video showing the end of last week’s match. Superimposed over part of the screen was a countdown clock. The timekeeper was highlighted in the corner. The seconds on the countdown clock kept jumping around and had obviously been manipulated. When the clock finally hit zero, the sound of the bell being rung was heard. However, it was obvious that the clearly highlighted timekeeper hadn’t moved. Rex’ voice was heard telling Presley and Boss that he felt this video was incontrovertible evidence of bias on part of the WoW. As they talked, a few seconds later you could clearly see and hear the timekeeper ring the bell. Boss started screaming for Rex to kill the video. Rex’ face appeared and he declared that the video must have been tampered with because it was obvious that Boss’ tampering…he corrected himself quickly…manipulation. At this point Boss yelled at Rex to shut up and he and Presley left.
3. Shadow Ninja over Great Ginzu with the Katana Kick/Shinobi Slam combo. It was a great match from start to finish. After the match, Ginzu bowed to Star. When Star returned the bow, Ginzu kicked him in the face.
4. Next up was a video of an appearance by Mr. Tycoon and Yuppie VP on a popular late-night talk show. The pair did a great job of putting over WoW while running down all the current champs. They talked about how The Goths look to be a force for a long time. The crowd loved the spot and hated them at the same time. As they ended their segment, Tycoon said he could tell this audience was a bunch of peasants and vagrants, and seeing such misery made him…really, really happy. He said he planned on doing all he could to increase the misery of others while increasing his own worth. 5. The Neon Express retained the Tag Team Titles in the best match of the night. Wild finished off The Executers with a Torpedo Dropkick.
6. Dude Brohan retained the World Title by pinning O’Hooligan with the Big Bro Leg Drop. For the second Brohan match in a row, Haka Tonga led a group of wrestlers down to celebrate with Brohan. O’Hooligan watched the celebration briefly before leaving.

Superstar Saturday 2/2/1980 ChiTown Complex Decent Crowd 415/30/**
1. Shop of Horrors, with Gothica, went to a 10-minute time-limit draw with Nerd Alert. The Nerds did nothing to help themselves, as the draw came about simply because SoH kept beating on them and never went for a cover. After the match, Gothica got on the mic and said that in a match like this, it’s not about wins and losses, it’s about pain. She asked the crowd who they thought won with that in mind. Both Herman and Waldo require assistance in leaving the ring. 2. We cut to a video of Dr. B in the same gym that Dude Brohan was in 2 weeks ago for his interview. He’s talking about his rematch and that he will regain his title. Brohan enters with his crew, seemingly unaware that the Doctor was here. The two crews square off and pushing and shoving ensues. Dr. B throws a barbell that almost hits Brohan in the face. They leave quickly after this, shouting insults the whole time 3. Glam upsets Auntie Voodoo. She wins with Synergy. Auntie is injured during the match, and it is later confirmed that she will miss at least 2 months. As the ambulance carrying Voodoo leaves the arena, Gothica can be seen in one corner of the screen. She is holding a candle in one hand and a piece of parchment-looking paper in the other. She appears to be mumbling something with her eyes closed. 4. Honest Al interviews Red Pirate Rogers about the charges of tampering levelled by Pelvis Presley and Big Boss, Jr. Rogers says that if Presley wants a rematch, then he will get a rematch. He doesn’t really care about the favoritism charges, although Boss’ evidence looks sketchy at best. He thanks Al for turning off Spectrum. He closes by saying that even though he wasn’t able to beat Presley admittedly, Presley couldn’t beat him. However, he learned from the match and can now get the job done. He doesn’t think Presley is that smart.
5. Crash over Yuppie VP with the Collision Course. Mr. Tycoon joined his partner in a short post-match attack.
6. Moon Man over Troglo with the Rocket Launch. Piranha was in Troglo’s corner, although he didn’t get involved.
7. Mad Arab over Michael T. Wolf with the Fat Camel Clutch after a hard shot with a foreign object. After both men had been announced, Gothica came to the ring with a small satchel. She whispered something to The Arab and showed him the contents of the bag which she placed in his corner. Gothica told Wolf that she still had a bone to pick with him, but her guys were busy The Mad Arab was her “hitman”, and she was paying him to pick apart Wolf’s bones. Wolf was cut open badly.
8. GoblinKnight, with Gothica, over Dungeon Crawler with Slime Time. This match was contested as No-Holds-Barred.
9. Star Boy, with Mr. Bonsai, retained the TV Title rather easily against Mandonna, finishing him off with the Flying Cross Chop. As Mandonna lay in the ring recovering from the finishing move, Pop King ran to ringside and stole back his crown.

Sunday Night Slam 2/10/1980 Golden Plaza Great Crowd 841/32/**
1. In a 3-way match to determine the next challenger for Star Boy’s TV Title, GoblinKnight used Slime Time to defeat Troglo and Arizona Chance. Gothica did not second Goblin this time, and the announcers said that she was preparing for her in-ring debut against Glam later in the show. Chance was the clear favorite, and the crowd was livid at the outcome.
2. Mr. Tycoon pinned Crash after a Money Maker. Yuppie VP remained at ringside and harassed Star Boy and Mr. Bonsai liberally throughout the match. After the pin, Yuppie moved in to help with the beatdown. Suddenly, a new music played and a person on a stunt bicycle rode down the aisle to the ring. In a fantastic move, the newcomer stopped just short of the ring and then did a trick where he jumped the bike up to the ring apron. He went over the top rope in one slick move and took out both men. Tycoon and Yuppie bailed. He helped Crash recover. Crash introduced his savior as his old friend, Rad Racer. He and Racer were going to watch each other’s back as they climbed the ranks in the WoW.
3. Newcomer Mighty Leo beat Zombie Punk with the Thunderstrike. The Zombie was alone like his stablemate, GoblinKnight. He did not prove to be much of a challenge to Leo. As Leo was making his way up the aisle, The Zombie jumped on his back. He didn’t attack Leo, but just knocked him down. Leo got up and tried to continue, but The Zombie kept trying to stop him. He didn’t do anything physical, he was just trying to impede Leo’s progress. He also kept looking over his shoulder. Finally, Leo stopped and started laughing. He asked for a mic. He asked The Zombie if he was waiting for something. Zombie looked worried, as much as a zombie can look worried. Leo asked for them to show Zombie where his brood is. We cut to a camera shot backstage of Gothica trying to open a locked door. Sounds of people yelling and beating on the door can be heard coming from the other side. Dungeon Crawler and a bandaged Michael T. Wolf are watching with amusement from the distance. Gothica is screaming in an unintelligible language. Back in the arena, Zombie Punk tries to run, but Leo grabs him and lays him out with another Thunderstrike. Backstage again, we hear a roar louder than all the rest and Gothica stops and steps back. All sound from the other side stops. Slashmaster’s machete slices through the door vertically, and several pairs of hands start ripping at the opening he’s made. The camera man squeals something and takes off.
4. For the second week in a row, Glam pulls off another upset, defeating Gothica with Synergy. Gothica is incredulous that she somehow lost. As she makes her way to the back, ringside fans overhear her muttering and they are able to pick out the words “Voodoo” and “Wrong spell”?
5. Big Thuggee over Pat Cabbage with The Heart Claw.
6. Next up we cut to clip from a popular talk show featuring Princess Starbright and Valley Girl. The hosts partner has to sit between them to keep them from going at it. Valley Girl accuses Starbright of dodging her, and Starbright says that WoW is making the match. Valley Girl accuses her of having them stall. We go to a commercial break, and when we come back, the host and his partner are pulling the girls apart. The host said that he can’t repeat what was said that brought it to this point. The girls finally calm down, and the host says they will have to leave. Starbright agrees and walks through the curtain. Valley Girl complains some more and then says she has an idea. She tells the host that she’s leaving because she wants to, not because he made her. Later in the show, the host says that he has a special announcement. He brings both girls out, but they have to stand on either side of the studio with security between them. Valley Girl reminds Starbright how close she was to cutting off those stupid pigtails, and she asks her if she’d like a chance to cut off Val’s hair. Val says that she will put her hair on the line if Starbright will ask WoW to hurry up with the title shot. Starbright says she couldn’t care less about cutting Val’s nappy hair, but she won’t turn down a chance to have a little fun playing hairdresser. Val says that you have to put your hair at stake, too. Starbright says fine, and she reminds Val how ludicrous this is since she’s getting a title match regardless. If Val wants to play this game, then fine. Val says this is my way of humiliating you twice over.
7. The Executers over The Insectoids when Mercenary uses the Canadian Cloverleaf.
8. Next up is the first episode of O’Hooligan’s Pub. He introduces his guest, Haka Tonga. The set is a traditional Scottish pub with O’Hooligan behind the bar and Haka sitting on one of the stools. O’Hooligan started asking Haka questions about his friendship for Dude Brohan. Taka spoke about it briefly. Rather than continue asking questions, O’Hooligan continued to reference Brohan and eventually the rant turned into a berating of Haka for his friendship. O’Hooligan talked about how much he hated Brohan. Haka got up to leave. O’Hooligan stopped him and apologized for losing his temper. He offered Haka a drink or snacks. Haka declined, but O’ Hooligan insisted. Haka finally accepted just to get O’ Hooligan to drop the subject. O’ Hooligan pulled some bananas from underneath the bar and said that this is what he thought Haka’s people were used to eating as they climbed the jungle trees. Haka tried to explain about his people in an accurate and less-biased manner, but O’ Hooligan persisted. Next, O’ Hooligan pulled a coconut from behind the bar and said that he was sorry for not having a coconut cracker, but he figured Haka was experienced opening coconuts since that’s what his tribe drank. He asked Haka to open it for him. Haka said it wasn’t possible without tools, but O’ Hooligan insisted Haka could do it. Haka finally got irritated for real and got up to leave. O’ Hooligan told Haka that they weren’t done, but Haka said he was done. O’ Hooligan climbed up on the bar with the coconut in his hand and jumped off, smashing it over Haka’s head. The coconut bust open and Haka’s head busted open with the milk and blood running down his face. O’Hooligan tipped over two of the heavy barstools on Haka’s fallen form before storming off. 9. Dude Brohan finished off Dr. B with the Big Bro Leg Drop to retain the WoW title. This was a basic power match. The Doctor offered Brohan a nod of respect before leaving the ring after the loss. As his usual crowd gathered in the ring, Brohan looked around before somebody heard him ask about Haka Tonga. Juan Tijuana whispered something in Brohan’s ear, and you could see him mimicking Haka getting hit with the coconut. Brohan stopped the celebration and immediately headed to the back. He called out for O’Hooligan as he made his way.

Weekend Wrasslin’ 02/16/1980 The Ballroom 742/30/**
1. We open with Honest Al talking to the B-Boys about their upcoming title match with the Neon Express. Zap and Boombox talk about their respect for The Express and how they expect an amazing match. They do say that, in the end, they will walk out as champions.
2. Pop King over Cletus Mullet with the Thriller. During the match, Mandonna comes out and steals the crown back.
3. Arizona Chance over The Mad Arab with the Last Crusade.
4. Valley Girl over Glam with the Chill Pill. After the match, Val grabbed a pair of scissors from underneath the ring and begin cutting Glam’s hair. Princess Starbright made the save before too much damage was done. 5. Rad Racer over Yuppie VP with the Tail Whip. Prior to the match, the referee sent both Crash and Mr. Tycoon back to the dressing room. 6. Immediately after this match, we cut to Mr. Tycoon ranting backstage about unfair treatment. Crash walks up and challenges Tycoon to a match next week. Tycoon accepts. As they argue back and forth, Yuppie VP attacks Crash. Rad Racer comes out of nowhere on his bike and takes out Tycoon with an aerial move. Tycoon and Yuppie retreat.
7. Big Thuggee is in the ring. He says that the rumors Arizona Chance spoke of are true. He is the man that Chance believes he needs to save WoW from. Thuggee laughs and says that Chance nor any other wrestler will stop him from doing what he desires in WoW. He implies that Chance had to cheat to beat his colleague, Mad Arab, earlier tonight. Arizona Chance is no threat to his plans.
8. Howl n’ Roar over Ghoul n’ Goblin w/ Gothica when Mighty Leo used the Thunderstrike. G n’ G attacked H n’ R after the bell. Gothica produced two pairs of handcuffs, and both Wolf and Leo were ‘cuffed to the turnbuckle. At this point, Keith Blood and Slashmaster came out dragging a body bag. Slashmaster stood it up on end and Blood unzipped it. Dungeon Master’s bruised and bloodied body fell out on the floor. Slashmaster gave DM a couple of hard shots with the flat side of his machete. Gothica says that only she’s stopping him from using the sharp part. If the three of them don’t stay out of the Goth’s business, then he will use the sharp part on one of them the next time. 9. In a special main event, legendary ladies Almighty Dolla and Lyndi Harker went to a Double-Disqualification. These two ladies had signed one-night contracts only. Dolla got on the mic and said that it was too bad these sad little fans didn’t get to see a real finish, but the cowardly ref got overzealous. It wasn’t her fault. Harker suggested they come back for a rematch. Dolla said that she wrestles for one reason, and her name says it all. It would take a lot of Dollas to get her back to this dump. Harker says the people deserve it, and Dolla says only if they come up with a lot of bling…more than they will ever have

Valentine’s Day Massacre 2/23/1980 Canada Centre Decent Crowd 2109/33/**
1. In the opener, Glam again defeats Gothica with Synergy. Glam is still sporting the chopped-up hair courtesy of Valley Girl. Honest Al catches her as she heads to the back and asks her about what Valley Girl did. Glam says she will have a message for Valley Girl in a couple of weeks. Gothica immediately steps in after her and tries to talk, but Al throws it back to ringside.
2. The Neon Express successfully defend the Tag Team title against the B-Boys after Jessie uses the Torpedo Dropkick. The teams show respect to one another before and after the match.
3. Arizona Chance over Big Thuggee with the Last Crusade.
4. Pelvis Presley, with Big Boss, Jr., defeats Red Pirate Rogers with the Heartbreaker to claim the Cruiserweight Championship.
5. We see Lyndi Harker in a taped promo. She feels bad for what happened in her match against Dolla, and she feels the fans got cheated. She can’t force Dolla into a rematch, but she has an offer Dolla can’t refuse if she loves her namesake as much as she claims. Harker challenges Dolla to a No-Holds-Barred match with the winner getting the entire payout for the match. The loser goes home empty-handed.
6. Dude Brohan successfully defends the World Title against Ninja Star after a Big Bro Leg Drop. Brohan gets on the mic and says that the people won’t see the usual celebration out here today. He reminds everyone what happened to Haka Tonga on O’ Hooligan’s Pub. He says that Haka is out of danger, although it was touch and go for a while. He says that what O’ Hooligan did shows what a piece of garbage he is, and Haka will be back to take care of his own business. However, O’Hooligan doesn’t get to relax in the meantime. In two weeks, there will be another episode of the Pub. O’ Hooligan didn’t even know about it until right now, and is probably crying like a baby about it, but it will happen. What happens in the Pub is up to O’ Hooligan, but Brohan says that he himself won’t be in the mood for drinking or mingling.

1. Mr. Tycoon answers Crash’s challenge and picks up a win in the first match of the evening. The ref refuses to allow Yuppie VP and Rad Racer to remain at ringside. After the pin, Tycoon berates the downed Crash. Suddenly, an ear-piecing scream is heard and Yuppie comes running out of the back with Racer on his heels on his bike. Tycoon runs up the aisle and he and Yuppie end up colliding. Racer pulls up and jumps both of them as they try to regain their footing. Crash recovers and joins Racer. Tycoon finally composes himself and grabs a mic. He says that he and Yuppie want Racer and Crash at the same time in the same match. Crash and Racer quickly accept. 2. In a three-way match to find a #1 contender for Pelvis Presley’s newly-won Cruiserweight title, Zombie Punk, with Gothica, defeated Ninja Star and The Piranha. However, Punk was injured in the match. He refused help from anyone but Gothica.
3. Howl n’ Roar beat Shop of Horrors w/ Gothica after Leo’s Thunderstrike.
4. Almighty Dolla appeared in a taped interview. She said that she was going to accept Harker’s offer for the No-Holds-Barred match with the winner-take-all payout…. provided that WoW come up with the number for the payout that she demanded. She’s not working for a penny less. If WoW won’t come up the Dollas she’s worth, then Harker can complain to management and the WoW low-life fans can keep crying in their warm beer. 5. Zap over Big Thuggee with the Electric Boogie. Arizona Chance contributes to the win by distracting Thuggee with his mere presence. Thuggee is incensed when he sees Chance watching the match from across the arena. 6. Ace Arcadium over Cletus Mullet with the 8-Bit Breaker.
7. Red Pirate Rogers over Juan Tijuana with the Swashbuckler.
8. For the second time, Arizona Chance picks up a win over The Mad Arab. This time the post-match goes differently. After the pin, The Arab holds on to Chance. Some ringside observers felt like he may have allowed himself to be pinned to keep Chance from being able to defend himself. Big Thuggee and a smaller man dressed like him hit the ring and attacked Chance while The Arab held him. Red Pirate Rogers tried to make the save, but the number’s game overwhelmed him as well. Big Thuggee called off the attack so he could introduce his smaller partner, the appropriately named Li’l Thuggee. He said that they were The Slave Drivers and the Mad Arab was their “partner-in-crime”. They were aiming for the Neon Express titles now that Chance was out of the way, and that the Mad Arab was going to take Star Boy’s TV title.
9. In the main event, Star Boy, with Mr. Bonsai, defends the TV title against GoblinKnight with Gothica. Keith Blood and Slashmaster come with them. The ref immediately tries to send them to the back. Bonsai and Star Boy converse, and Bonsai says to hold on. He and Star Boy know that The Goths can’t have a match without all of them getting involved, so they might as well stay where he can keep an eye on them. With that in mind, it’s only fair that Star Boy have some people at ringside watching his back. The ref said something to the ring announcer and he told the crowd this was now a Lumberjack Match. At that, Michael T. Wolf, Mighty Leo, and Dungeon Crawler came to ringside. Gothica calls The Mad Arab to ringside and asks them to help her again. He agrees. The Lumberjacks eventually break down into a big brawl at ringside, and during the melee Star Boy nails Goblin with the Flying Cross Chop for the win. At this point, the Slave Drivers hit the ring and grab Star Boy. They hold him for Mad Arab to work him over. The B-Boys hit the ring to save Star Boy. The brawl continues until most of the locker room empties to break it up

Sunday Night Slam 3/9/1980 The Ballroom Sold Out 1625/36/***
1. Red Pirate Rogers defeated Moon Man and Troglo by Countout in a Three-Way Match. Due to their personal issue, both men focused on each other more than on the Pirate. Eventually, the two of them went to floor fighting and stayed past the ref’s 10-count.
2. Ninja Star over The Piranha. This match determined the #1 contender to the Cruiserweight title in light of Zombie Punk’s injury. The announcer’s reiterated that Punk would still get a shot when he returns.
3. Two debuting wrestlers, Sgt. Shipley and The Queen of Mean, went one-on-one with the Queen coming out on top. The Queen called out Valley Girl. The women hugged, and Val said that the Queen had been her mentor and trainer. She says that the Queen’s here to watch her win the Ladies’ Title whenever WoW and Starbright get the guts to plan the match. Queen calls Val the greatest young wrestler she’s ever seen, except for when she looks at herself in a mirror. They are then 1a and 1…c. This draws some side eye from Val. 4. We see the set for O’Hooligan’s Pub. Dude Brohan enters calling for him. An official from WoW comes out and says that O’Hooligan won’t come out unless Brohan gives his word that he won’t attack him. Brohan reluctantly agrees and O’ Hooligan’s music plays. The official tries to tell him something else, but Brohan tells him to shut up and get out of here. The Scotsman slowly enters the set with a smirk on his face. Brohan looks like he’s about to attack him, but O’Hooligan reminds him of his promise. O’ Hooligan says that Brohan was the one who called this meeting, so what does he want to talk about? Brohan says you know what’s on my mind, O’Hooligan plays innocent, and Brohan yells at him about what he did to Haka Tonga. O’ Hooligan innocently asks “Who”? This enrages Brohan who grabs O’ Hooligan and drags him over the bar. O’ Hooligan starts to laugh. Brohan says that I’m about to kick your ass, so what’s so funny. I don’t care what I promised. All the little Dudes will understand. You could’ve ended Haka’s career, and you laugh about it. I might just end your’s right now, and you’re still laughing. You’re a sick freak. O’ Hooligan says that you should’ve listened to the suit who was out here. The official comes back with a piece of paper. He says that I tried to tell you that your word, in this case, carried the same weight as if you’d signed a written contract. By getting physical with this man, you’ve obligated yourself to a match with him. Brohan said that he didn’t care. His whole point was to get O’ Hooligan in the ring. O’ Hooligan laughed again and said that now your titles on the line. Brohan said that since he’d come this far there’s no use holding back, and he threw O’ Hooligan over the bar. Brohan said that now he not only got to beat up O’ Hooligan again, he got to embarrass him in another title match. He promised to leave some for Haka. As Brohan stormed off, a dazed O’ Hooligan staggered out from behind the bar. He threw his hands up as if celebrating, then collapsed in a heap on the floor. 5. Glam and Princess Starbright are in the ring. They direct everyone’s attention to a little music video they’ve put together. The video is a pop song called “Bald-headed Val”. It’s only about a minute long, and it shows Glam and Starbright dancing in front of a background with constantly shifting, and obviously doctored, photos of Valley Girl with no hair. Glam and The Princess are giggling like schoolgirls when we cut back to the ring. Starbright says that when WoW signs their hair v. title match that Glam will be helping her shear Valley Girl after she wins. An enraged Valley Girl comes storming out of the back with The Queen on her heels. Queen is actually trying to stop her from doing something, but Val blows her off. Val says that winning the title will be sweeter if she wins it from a bald Princess. She doesn’t want to wait for the title match. She wants Princess’ hair now, and if Glam gets to help cut then she has to put her hair up, too. Glam agrees, saying that WoW has already told her that she gets the first challenge against whoever wins between Val and The Princess. She’s looking forward to a friendly wrestling match against her friend for life, and both of them will be showing off beautiful heads of hair while Val wears a hat until hers grows back.
6. Wall Street over the Stunt Men. Tycoon says that he and his partner have been slumming too long, and they’re moving past these two wannabes.
7. In a non-title match, Star Boy defeats The Mad Arab, but is injured in the process. Mr. Bonsai is not with Star Boy as he was injured in the fracas after last week’s main event.
8. In his first WoW appearance, Jet Set Strutter brings the house down with a strong promo where he calls out everybody, but especially Brohan and Arcadium. The Thinker is with Strutter and announces that he will be advising him while under contract to WoW.
9. Ace Arcadium gets a clean win over Dr. B. After the match, The Doctor shakes Ace’s hand and leaves without incident. The Thinker comes to the ring and announces Jet Set Strutter. No words are exchanged, but the two superstars have an amazing stare down.

Weekend Wrasslin’ 3/15/1980 ChiTown Complex Decent Crowd 177/32/**
1. Shop of Horrors destroys Nerd Alert in their rematch. Gothica is not with them, and the announcers mention that no one has seen her tonight at the arena. 2. In a match to determine a #1 contender to the TV Title, The Mad Arab defeats Moon Man and The Red Pirate Rogers.
3. Sgt. Shipley over Valley Girl. Shipley picks up the win Valley Girl gets more focused on getting her shear out from underneath the ring than she does the match. The Sarge catches her with The Power Loader for the win. The Queen of Mean appears at ringside and grabs the Sarge, holding her so that Val can cut some hair. While Val prances around in the build-up to the hair-cutting, The Sarge get loose and switches places with the Queen, also stuffing one of the Queen’s feather boas in her mouth so she can’t protest. Val grabs a handful of the Queen’s hair and snips it off without looking as she preens for the crowd. Before she can snip off anymore, The Queen gets her mouth clear enough for her to yell at Val to look at what she’s doing. The Sarge drops the Queen and takes off. The Queen snatches the shears from Val’s hand and acts like she’s going to cut off a pigtail. She finally turns in disgust and walks off.
4. Mandonna is with Rex Spectrum, and they are admiring the crown he stole from Pop King. PK shows up demanding it’s return. Mandonna tells him to take it. PK challenges Mandonna to a match where the crown is on a pole, and whoever gets it first…Mandonna interrupts…can use it as a weapon? A disgusted King says that my crown isn’t a weapon. Whoever gets the crown wins the match. Mandonna agrees and asks PK if they can “hug on it”. PK turns to leave and Mandonna blasts him with the crown, then says that he thought it wasn’t a weapon. He puts it back on his head and there’s an obvious dent in one side.
5. The next match is booked as Yuppie VP versus Rad Racer. Before the match, Yuppie reminds us that Mr. Tycoon has already said that Wall Street has moved on and that bit of truth stands. He’s not wrestling Racer. In the spirit of sportsmanship, he’s found somebody who is more than willing. Somebody whose sense of fairplay and honor have been bothered by Racer’s flagrant lawbreaking actions. Somebody with the power to stop those actions in their tracks…Officer Chip!! Racer seems to be affected by the opponent change as Officer Chip wins rather easily with the Cop Drop.
6. We go to a commercial for next week’s special event, March Madness. Dude Brohan and O’ Hooligan talk about their title match, and we find out that Haka Tonga has been released to be in Brohan’s corner. In a huge announcement, it’s revealed that Ace Arcadium will take on the Jet Set Strutter.
7. The Metalheads finally get in the win column by defeating the Insectoids.
8. The Slave Drivers try to talk but the crowd boos them with such ferocity that they finally just leave the ring . 9. Mr. Tycoon wins the TV Title from Star Boy in the main event. Bonsai is still recovering from injuries, so no one is at ringside. Star Boy is still feeling the effects of injuries suffered at the hands of The Mad Arab, and WoW gives him a chance to postpone this match. He refuses, and Tycoon goes right after the injury.

March Madness 3/23/1980 Olympic Colosseum Sold Out 14460/41/***
1. The most successful card to date opens with Mr. Tycoon successfully defending the TV Title against The Mad Arab. The crowd was behind Tycoon despite his efforts to make them dislike him.
2. Lyndi Harker is live in the ring at the Colosseum. She thanks everyone for their warm welcome. She then lifts up an oversized blank check on the WoW account. She says this check just symbolizes a real one on the Mr. Fantasy’s desk. The reason it’s blank is because that’s the length the promotion is willing to go to for this match to happen. If Almighty Dolla only cares about the almighty dolla then she will accept this challenge. There are a lot of “dollas” at stake. Harker says the money will be nice, but she’s willing to risk it all just for a chance to put the Almighty Dolla out of the sport and do a lot of good women a favor.
3. Howl n’ Roar win the WoW Tag Team Titles from The Neon Express in our third match of the night. The mutual respect the teams share is shown throughout the match.
4. Next, we go to a video set in a cemetery. As expected, Gothica wanders out of the fog and into view. GoblinKnight is right behind her. Gothica pays no attention to the camera. She wanders around muttering to herself. Every few words can be made out, and these include “Glam”, “Voodoo”, “Trickery”, and “curse”. GoblinKnight attempts a couple of times to draw her attention to the camera, but she disregards him. On the third attempt, Gothica loses it and slaps Goblin across the face, threatening to turn him into “Goblin Pate’”. He shrugs and walks off. She then comes to a complete stop, looks right at the camera and begins cackling. She pulls a small bag out of her robe and hold it up to the camera. She mentions Glam and Auntie Voodoo, saying that too more different people couldn’t have the same problem…me!! She says she knows what happened, and Glam and Voodoo are going to pay for her mistake.
5. Jet Set Strutter, with The Thinker, submits Ace Arcadium with the Six-Figure Leglock. The Thinker encourages Strutter not to release the hold as quickly as he should. The ref threatens to reverse the decision, and Strutter lets go.
6. Dude Brohan successfully defends the World Title against O’ Hooligan in the main event. After the Big Bro Leg Drop, Brohan holds down O’ Hooligan and Haka Tonga comes off the top rope with the Supah Leap. Several wrestlers, including Enormous Pierre, come down to celebrate as has been the tradition. At one point, Brohan stands on the middle turnbuckle to acknowledge the fans. He jumps off backwards without looking and knocks down Enormous Pierre who has stepped behind him to leads cheers. Brohan goes to help Pierre up, but another wrestler distracts him with a fist bump and the party begins exiting the ring. As Pierre regains his footing, The Thinker is at ringside. Pierre eyes him warily, but the Thinker enters the ring and helps him to his feet. He gives Pierre a nod, and walks off.

Superstar Saturday 04/5/1980 Boston Arena Sold Out 757/31/**
1. We open with a recorded message from Almighty Dolla. In a very brief message, she says that she accepts the challenge. She’s also happy that Mr. Fantasy had the giant check drawn up. It’s going to take that much space to hold all the zeros she’s planning on filling in after she humiliates Harker and sends her to the poor house.
2. The Executers over The B-Boys with the Canadian Cloverleaf.
3. Princess Starbright wins the match and Valley Girl’s hair. Glam came down after the match with a kit full of scissors and razors. The ref made Val sit in a chair mid-ring. First off, they snipped of her pigtails. Val acted like that was enough. Starbright said that you wouldn’t have been satisfied with just my pigtails, would you? With this, Glam coated her hair with shaving cream and the two of them started using razors. Val was bawling and the crowd was mocking her. After a few minutes of shaving, they stopped. Val was still a mess. Glam squirted some shaving cream in her mouth, and they left the ring. Val was asking for a towel and a ref finally threw her one. The Queen of Mean came down and started to give Val an “I told you so” speech. Val wiped a big glob of cream off her cheek, threw it in the Queen’s face, and told her to shut up before heading to the back with her head covered.
4. Mandonna climbs the pole and retrieve the crown to win his match against Pop King. PK throws a temper tantrum and the crowd turns on him. Mandonna prances around wearing it for a while. Mandonna then acts like he’s going to give it to Pop King anyhow, but at the last minute he turns and smashes it against the pole. It is badly warped and bent. He says that he doesn’t like it anymore since it’s all torn up, and he tosses it in the crowd. Pop King jumps over the railing and disappears into the crowd looking for it.
5. Johnny Kobra finally picks up a win by putting away Pat Cabbage.
6. Haka Tonga over O’ Hooligan with the Supah Tonga Leap. Very good match. Tonga keeps his temper in check and wrestles a smart match. O’ Hooligan brought 2 coconuts to the ring when he first came down, and tells Haka that these are for if Taka needs hydrating.
7. Juan Tijuana over The Mad Arab with the Flying Forearm. Once again, Arizona Chance’s mere presence from across the arena upsets and distracts a nemesis to the point that the nemesis loses a match. 8. Ninja Star throws a wrench in Jet Set Strutter’s early plans by handing him a loss. While the fans are aware of The Ninja’s abilities, this win caught them off-guard. Strutter was livid.
9. Star Boy, w/ Mr. Bonsai, regains the TV title from Mr. Tycoon. Star Boy is fully released from the injury protocol.

Sunday Night Slam 04/13/1980 Canada Centre 1460/37/***
1. We open with The Mad Arab beating Star Boy and Arizona Chance in a three-way match. Despite the fact that it was essentially a handicap match, Arab was able to take advantage of a Star Boy miscue for the win.
2. Pelvis Presley and Big Boss, Jr. are with Rex Spectrum. Presley has a title defense coming up, and he knows it’s against either the Zombie or The Ninja…or the Ninja Zombie. It doesn’t matter which it is, because they have a reservation at The Heartbreak Hotel, courtesy of Pelvis Presley.
3. In his WoW wrestling debut, Enormous Pierre squashes, literally, Cletus Mullet. After the bell, Dude Brohan comes out. He says he wants to apologize to Pierre. He realizes that he’s been taking their friendship for granted, and he is sorry. Pierre look as if he’s about to accept when his music hits again and Haka Tonga leads Brohan’s celebration crew to ringside. Brohan tries to get them to stop, but Haka says this is about you and Pierre making friends again. Brohan immediately turns his attention to the celebration and they head to the back. Pierre watches them leave and then softly says that he accepted the apology. As he heads to the back, he passes and makes eye contact with the Thinker.
4. Lyndi Harker defeats the Almighty Dolla in a No-Holds-Barred match, and wins the entire payout for the match. Mr. Fantasy himself comes down and gives her the oversized check with the substantial amount filled in. He asks her if she would like to say anything special, and Harker announces that she’s signed a deal for more dates with WoW. She will be working enough to qualify for the title, so she light-heartedly tells her knew friend Princess Starbright that she had better watch her back.
5. Haka Tonga and Dude Brohan come back out and go into the crowd to celebrate with the fans.
6. Shop of Horrors, with Gothica, over the Neon Express. Gothica gets on the mic and she says she has words for the two people who have beaten her, Glam and Auntie Voodoo. She knows Voodoo will be out of the injury protocol soon. She explains that the only reason Glam beat both of them was because she made a very rare error in her witchcraft. She was supposed to cast a spell to make Voodoo weaker so that Glam would beat her, but she cast a spell to make Glam better, which is why she was able to beat Gothica later. The spell has obviously worn off since Glam looks like goblin dung now, and when Voodoo comes back Gothica’s going to make her look like goblin dung and she won’t need spells to do it.
7. Newcomer Zen upset The Piranha in his debut match. Troglo tried to get at Zen, but Moon Man and Star Boy helped him get away.
8. The Slave Drivers wanted to talk again and this time they waited the fans out. By the time they were done, the fans were chanting for Arizona, Howl n’ Roar, The Neons, or anybody.
9. Ace Arcadium beat Jet Set Strutter. The Thinker was not at ringside. The announcers said after the finish that whoever won the rubber match between these two would get a World Title shot.

Weekend Wrasslin’ 04/19/1980 Boston Arena Great Crowd 575/31/**
1. Enormous Pierre was on O’ Hooligan’s Pub. O’ Hooligan shows several video clips featuring times where it appeared that Dude Brohan had snubbed or embarrassed Pierre. The giant said that they were all unintentional, and that he and Dude had worked things out. O’ Hooligan persisted, and Pierre got irritated and left. As he left the set, The Thinker could be seen standing just out of the original camera range.
2. Wall Street over The Insectoids. Tycoon talked about how he would be reclaiming the TV title very soon from Star Boy.
3. Auntie Voodoo over Glam in our next match. Before the match, Voodoo took a few seconds to go into a semi-trance and walked into all four corners of the ring. When she came out of it, she commented that “this is good”. She had little trouble with Glam. She got on the mic and called out Gothica. She wondered if Gothica really wanted to get into a “witch war” with her. She said that she should’ve known something was up the night that Gothica’s spell allowed Glam to beat her. First, there was an electric tingle in the air that really can only come from magics, but she didn’t think anything of it. Second, that was the only way Glam could’ve ever beaten it was with “help from beyond.” It was karma that Gothica’s mistake cost her a win the next week before it fizzled. Now, Auntie’s going to make Gothica pay for messing with her life out of jealousy. She knows Gothica can’t stand that Auntie is superior with the magics. She hopes Gothica can leave the magics out of the ring from now on so they can settle this like it should be.
4. The Slave Drivers destroyed Nerd Alert.
5. The Queen of Mean is in the ring and she calls out Princess Starbright. She says this is a friendly visit, and isn’t looking for trouble. Starbright comes out warily. The Queen shows a document to Starbright, and says that Mr. Fantasy has already validated it. She says that the document is a Power-of-Attorney, signed by Valley Girl, authorizing the Queen to take her title shot at Starbright’s Ladies’ Championship. She says that the match had already been scheduled for next week at Champ Clash, and will still happen at that time. Starbright says that’s fine. She wondered how Valley Girl was going to handle herself with her hair all chopped up. The Queen tells her that she and Glam did a good job, and says that Val deserved it. She and The Princess shake hands.
6. Supernova defeat the Neanderthals in a good match. Star Boy says that the only reason Tycoon won was Star Boy’s injury, and that’s behind him. The title is staying where it belongs. 7. The Mad Arab over Red Pirate Rogers with the Fat Camel Clutch. After the bell, The Pirate is attacked by The Slave Drivers who join The Arab. He is quickly saved by Arizona Chance and another unknown wrestler. 8. After the melee is settled, the new wrestler identifies himself as a friend of Arizona’s who is called The Reptile Ranger. He is her with his snakes and lizards to help Chance and The Pirate against The Slave Drivers, The Arab, or anybody else who wants to create havoc in the WoW.
9. Ninja Star, with Mr. Bonsai, wins the Cruiserweight Title from Pelvis Presley with Big Boss, Jr.
