Superstar Saturday 8/4/84 Boston Arena Great Crowd 1422/44/**
1) The Frat Boy Bullies come out for a match with the Muscle Men. Ruffian calls them the “muscleheads”, and says they can beat up a couple of pretty-boy gym rats any time they want. Kobra says that the martial arts trump raw power, and history has shown that. The Bullies actions don’t match their words, however, as The Muscle Men pick up the win.
2) Mother Russia over Gothica.
3) Freedom Fighter and the American Heroes come out. FF reminds everyone that Copper Commander challenged him, and he accepted. Meanwhile, the office has heard nothing from BASILISK about scheduling the match. With that, Skullgore and Conquer & Command come out. Skullgore says that CC had no business making such a challenge and it has been rescinded. FF will face CC in tag matches or not at all. Honest Al comes out. He says that a challenge and an acceptance is almost a verbal contract in WoW, so BASILISK won’t be pulling any kind of shenanigans with this one. However, to keep things interesting, Al orders a Trios match right now. If FF and The Heroes win, the match with CC is on. Furthermore, it will be a mask vs. mask match. BASILISK are livid, but Al tells the ref to start a 10-count. Skullgore barely makes it to the ring. The match finally starts. In the end, Freedom Fighter pins CC after the Haymaker of Justice to insure the mask vs. mask match occurs.
4) Average Guy tells us that he has another clip he received from Ace Arcadium. This time, Ace is walking down the Vegas strip at night. The streets are almost deserted. “I’ve recently come to love this town, you know. The lights, the people, the sex, the addictions…all in one beautiful place. See that dank little joint right there? Pelvis Presley does 2 shows a night there on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I’ve seen him 6 times. I told him that his tubby little former manager is gone for now, and he says that might be enough to bring him back. Anyhow, the WoW champion, wants a piece of me. Guy, you big fat glory hog…you couldn’t want to beat me up more than I want to beat you up. I dream about it when I finally go to sleep at 4am after a night at the tables. I’m winning, Guy, that’s what I do. That’s what I will do when I return, win. Only the venue will change. You see, Guy, if you want me, then you will get me at Summer Splash, with the title on the line. I’m all about gold now, Guy. All the weak little do-gooder stuff got me exactly nowhere. I’m in it for me, Guy.” With that, Ace points to the electronic sign of a small, cheap looking casino. A playing card appears, The Ace of Spades . 5) Yuppie VP over Dungeon Crawler
6) The Valedictorian, The Flawless One, over Jet Set Strutter. The Honor Society attack, and Pierre makes the save.
7) Cesar Sleaze over The Shark. After the match, Sleaze says to the announcers that “it was me all along. Helga had nothing to do with my winning.”
8) The Flawless One, with The Think Tank and The Thinker, over Enormous Pierre. Jet Set Strutter wasn’t able to be at ringsider, so Damon Van Winkle seconded him.
9) Exotic Rick successfully defends the TV Title against Devin Van Winkle. The Think Tank attack again. This time, the Van Winkles make the save.

1) Chief Buffalo over Max Attack to open the show. Cesar Sleaze comes out to taunt Buffalo from the announcer’s desk. He keeps yelling at Buffalo, “How’s Helga doin’” and “Tell her I said hello.’ He tells the announcers that Buffalo can’t do much with those messages since he hasn’t seen her in a long time. She ditched them both. Sleaze is happy the dead weight is gone, But Buffalo “misses her”.
2) Aurora and Mynx over The Queen of Mean and Chaka Crass.
3) Fireball over Ninja Shadow and Death Star Boy in a three-way match.
4) Auntie Voodoo and Countess are with Honest Al. Once again, she guarantees victory over Tiki at Summer Splash.
5) Johnny Kobra over Danger Zone.
6) We cut to a shot of the foggy graveyard that we haven’t seen since Shop of Horrors disappeared into the mausoleum. This time, the door opens and two hooded figures exit. Every aspect of their being is hidden. The disappear into the fog.
7) Jet Set Strutter and Enormous Pierre over The Honor Society.
8) The Van Winkles come out right after this match, and join JSS and Pierre. Damon says that it looks like The Think Tank are making enemies everywhere. They’ve crossed JSS, Pierre, and The Van Winkles. All five men promise to watch each other’s back.
9) In a WoW Title match, Average Guy retains against Dark Invader.

Weekend Wrasslin’ 8/18/84 Empire Gardens Sold Out 1900/47/***
1) We open with a tag match that sees Evil Empire dominate Nerd Alert.
2) Al introduces a video for another star coming to WoW. The man who calls himself simply “Tennis Pro”. The video is entertaining in its own way, but TP doesn’t come across as a major threat. He says he’s signing with WoW to get at one man, and the fans will find out soon enough who that is. When we go back to the show, The All-Pros are with Al and they are laughing so hard that they can barely stay on their feet. Slammer Johnson finally regains his composure. “Fans, I will tell you straight up, I’m the guy he’s coming after. We’ve crossed paths before, and he’s obsessed with proving that tennis players are better athletes than in any other sport. He may look like a dork, but…ok. I can’t do this. He’s a dork. He’s never beaten me, and why WoW is signing him? You’ll have to ask Al.” The All-Pros walk off laughing. Al says “well, we saw his tape and he didn’t look THAT bad.”
3) The Gladiators defeat the All-Pros. Massacre says that in their short time here, they’ve beaten so-called muscle men and so-called two-sport super athletes. They’ve quickly proven their physical superiority over a portion of the roster, and that domination will continue unchecked.
4) The debuting Elfette defeats Glam. Elfette is very gracious and cordial to the fans and her opponent, and she is an instant favorite.
5) BASILISK is out and filling the ring. Countess said that she had a very productive meeting with the Supreme Serpent. He had some interesting news and she has an announcement. BASILISK Worldwide has decided to acquire WoW. This is more than a mere self-proclaimed takeover by a group of wrestlers. This is a legitimate business acquisition. The process has already begun, and will be completed by the end of the year. She tells the other wrestlers not to worry, as those who will be in charge of WoW will be fair and impartial overlords. “Skullgore and I will run this operation to the benefit of all...who follow our precepts. Obey the rules, and you will always be welcome. However, discipline will be swift for those who do not.” Honest Al comes out and asks her what she’s talking about. He reminds her that he’s the majority owner of WoW with Mr. Fantasy gone, and he has no plans to sell to anybody, much less a bunch of international criminals like BASILISK. Countess becomes hostile. “Al, BASILISK brings a whole new meaning to the term hostile takeover. By the time the Supreme Serpent is ready to sit down with you to close the transaction, you will be begging him to take it.” Al replied, “You tell Mister Big Snake or whatever you call him that there won’t ever be a meeting. WoW is not for sale, by hook or crook. Cut to commercial and get these idiots out of the ring.”
6) The Honor Society, with The Thinker, over Terry & Devin Van Winkle, with Franz.
7) Chameleon Kid over Michael T. Wolf.
8) A commercial aired for next week’s Summer Splash P4V. Average Guy talked about his title defense against Ace Arcadium. Guy says he’s not even that concerned about the title for this match. This is a revenge match. The fact that Ace insisted that this be a title match or he wouldn’t sign it shows what a gutless waste of skin he is. Guy says he doesn’t know or care what all this Ace of Spades mumbo jumbo is, but if it’s supposed to frighten him, It’s not working. They also get a few words from the Blade Blasters about their title defense against Wall Street. Lazer says that Wall Street have never looked stronger, and are a legit threat. Al asks if Lyndi Harker’s relationship with the team might have something to do with it. He says that her relationship is more with Tycoon than Yuppie it looks from the outside. They are cool with Harker and vice versa, so they don’t expect any trouble from her.
9) In a Cruiserweight Title match, Arizona Chance defeats Johnny Kobra to retain the title.

Summer Smash 8/26/84 Puro Dome 7445/51/**
1) Arizona Chance comes out for a surprise challenge from a wrestler under contract to the promotion hosting WoW’s visit to the Puro Dome. The challenger ended up being former WoW wrestler, Chet Skye. Skye said that when he won the title that he was keeping it in Japan, and WoW wrestlers would have to come here to challenge for it. That will not be occurring, as Chance defeated Skye to retain.
2) Enormous Pierre over The Valedictorian. Nobody was allowed at ringside for this match. Both Pierre and Val are legends in Japan, so the huge crowd was evenly divided.
3) Honest Al catches up with Lyndi Harker backstage. She asks him to hurry as she has to meet with Tycoon before the match. He asks about her presence at ringside, and she says that she provides moral support and nothing else. Tycoon is comfortable with her there, and that’s what matters. Al asks about Yuppie. She says Yuppie is comfortable with what Tycoon is comfortable with, and she wishes the office would stop trying to make trouble between them. She tells Al she’s done, and struts off.
4) In a TV Title match, Exotic Rick, with The Thinker, over Terry Van Winkle with Franz. Terry and Franz expect and attack after the match, but there are no incidences.
5) The Mad Arab over Haka Tonga in a No-Holds-Barred match.
6) In a WoW Tag Team title defense, The Blade Blasters lose the titles to Wall Street when Lyndi Harker shows her true colors and causes a distraction allowing Tycoon to hit the Money Maker on Lazer for the win. She then distracts Buzzsaw who gets taken out by Yuppie. Tycoon, Yuppie, and Harker then retrieve their metal briefcases. They open a metal case and place Lazer’s knee in it. They take turn stomping the case on Lazer’s knee over and over. Harker taunts Lazer about how “cool they are with one another.” She stomps him in the face with her heeled shoe. Buzzsaw finally recovers and runs them off, but Lazer’s knee is in terrible shape. He is unable to walk to the back. He refuses to ride on a stretcher, so Buzzsaw helps him despite the protests of the medical staff.
7) We get a new episode of Teeny’s Playhouse for the first time in a while. His guest is the Tennis Pro. Before Norman can even begin, TP asks him if he’s “that cripple” he saw doing rehab on TV a while back. Norman confirms that he has recently rehabbed a serious injury, but before he can continue, Pro says that if that’s the case then Norman must not be much of an athlete. He wonders why Norman is qualified to interview him. He looks around and calls the Playhouse a disgrace, like Slammer Johnson is a disgrace. He says his new buddy, the Blitz, is also a disgrace. WoW is cheapened due to their presence in it. Norman tries to ask questions, but Pro goes off on him. Norman finally walks off. Pro says that he’s not impressed with what he’s seen so far in WoW. He will probably beat Johnson and Blitz-y a couple of times and then leave.
8) In a Ladies’ Title match, Madame Tiki defeats Auntie Voodoo to retain. Tiki tells Voodoo and the Countess “so much for guarantees, huh?
9) Ace Arcadium walks out first. He tells the production team to “stop that awful racket.” The music ends. He says if he wants walk-up music then he will give it to them. They should delete his old file and burn all hard copies. The announcer starts to intro him as Ace Arcadium. He cuts him off, “these Ace of Spades on my gear and in the videos that I sent weren’t there by accident. Ace Arcadium is about child’s play, and that’s why he sucked. I am the Ace of Spades, and I’ve grown into an entirely new player. Average Guy has no idea what to expect, and he will be losing that title tonight. The PS guy makes an announcement to please not throw items in the ring, as AoS is being pelted. Guy charges to the ring and attacks AoS with the belt. The ref warns him, but doesn’t stop the match. A brawl begins from the opening bell. There’s very little wrestling here. This new version of Ace Arcadium does seem to catch Guy off-guard, and AoS is on offense a lot. He gets several 2-3/4 counts. Guy is busted open. Finally, Princess Starbright walks out. Guy tells her to leave, but she declines. AoS takes a swipe at her. She keeps up the distraction, but AoS finally gets in a shot on her. She’s out. This allows Guy to sneak in behind AoS who walks right into the Average Elbow for the three-count. As Guy is checking on Starbright, AoS attacks him from behind and takes him out. He’s going after Starbright again when Valley Girl comes and protects her. He lays out Valley Girl. Norman comes down and gets laid out. Ninja Shadow comes out and the crowd goes wild. They square off, then Shadow makes a gesture as if saying “make we speak?” AoS allows him to approach and Shadow says something to AoS who leaves with him. Various wrestlers, refs, and medical team members come to the ring to assist with the cleanup of the carnage

Superstar Saturday 9/1/84 Golden Plaza Sold Out 1507/43/**
Before the show, Auntie Voodoo approaches Tiki backstage. She says she comes in peace. She wants to make an offer. She wants one more title match, tonight. If Tiki retains, then no woman from BASILISK will get a title match for one year. Tiki says that she will talk to Al, but she accepts.
1) Chameleon Kid over Yuppie VP.
2) Valley Girl over Countess. Gorgon attacks VG after the match.
3) The Frat Boy Bullies and The Muscle Men fight to a double-disqualification.
4) Bug Buster says that he knows The Insectoids are here tonight, and he wants a match, and his property returned. Mike Bugg comes out and says that if you beat me, then we will verify your weapon of bug destruction is ok, even though it deserves to be destroyed. BB defeated Mike Bugg. At the pin, Mark Bugg walked out on the platform with the backpack. He held it up, then went back through the entrance. BB ran after. As soon as BB ran through the entrance, Mark Bugg smashed him in the face with the backpack. BB hit the ground, and Mark sprayed him with something from the sprayer. The Insectoids took off. BB lay there for a few seconds and then got up. “It’s only water.” He told the gathering group, “which way?” Someone pointed off to the left. “Get Crash and send him after me.” BB took off in the direction indicated.
5) The Flawless One over Terry Van Winkle.
6) Skullgore over The Shark. After the match, Skullgore said that, in light of the announcement regarding BASILISK’s acquisition of WoW, he was beginning the process of labelling certain wrestlers in the promotion as potential threats to be eliminated ASAP. Shark was one of those threats.
7) Elfette over Mother Russia.
8) Ninja Shadow over Exotic Rick and Enormous Pierre in a three-way match. Countess said that this is what BASILISK is looking for in its recruits. Ninja Shadow was the ultimate BASILISK operative right now, and his future would only bring more and more success.
9) Auntie Voodoo defeats Madame Tiki to win her first Ladies’ title. Countess and Gorgon Tokoro do contribute to the victory. A brawl erupts between the BASILISK ladies and Tiki, Valley Girl, and Mynx. It takes the rest of the Ladies’ roster to finally break it up.
As the announcers are signing off, we see Bug Buster and Crash walking briskly backstage. They stop and point into a room. The camera pans to reveal the exterminator backpack sitting unguarded on a table. They enter the room, and are immediately attacked by The Insectoids. Crash and BB are ready, however, and they get the upper hand on the Buggs. Mark tells Mike to grab the backpack. As he’s about to do so, Moon Man runs in the room, grabs it, and runs out. BB and Crash disengage and leave the room. Outside and down the hall, Moon Man returns the pack to BB, and BB thanks him. Moon Man says it was a “great plan.”

Sunday Night Slam 9/984 Rassletorium Great Crowd 947/43/**
Ace of Spades enters the backstage area from the parking lot. BASILISK, in full force, is waiting for him. They begin applauding him, and Countess greets him as the newest member of BASILISK. AoS barely acknowledges her. They block his path. He drops his bag and says “let’s do this. You don’t have any more guys?” Skullgore laughs and says that we don’t want to fight, just talk. AoS says he’s not joining their group. Skullgore says that you don’t have a choice. He hands AoS several slips of paper. He reads them, and looks incredulous. “Do you know how much money this was?” AoS asks. Countess says that it doesn’t matter. The bill is settled courtesy of my organization. Can we talk now?” AoS smiled, “Guess I don’t have much of a choice, now, do I?”
1) In the opening match, Cesar Sleaze defeats Chief Buffalo and Zeke Mullet. Before any of the three competitors can leave the ring. Ninja Shadow and Conquer & Command attack all three men. The rest of BASILISK, including Ace of Spades, join them in the ring. Countess,” You’ve heard the news. While the official acquisition is still in progress, the unofficial takeover begins tonight. Beware anyone whose loyalty does not like with BASILISK.”
2) The All-Pros and The Gladiators are in the ring. Blitzworth tells The Gladiators that everyone knows they will get attacked. He says they need to be fighting BASILISK, not one another. Massacre says that his words have merit. As soon as The A-Ps let their guard down, the Gladiators attack them and get a quick win. Massacre says that the Gladiators can watch each other’s backs and win matches at the same time; They offer allegiance to neither BASILISK or WoW, but only to themselves.
3) Auntie Voodoo and Gorgon Tokoro are scheduled to take on Valley Girl and Mynx. After they come through the curtain, Countess attacks from behind and knocks Mynx out with a shot from her staff. Mynx is taken away. Valley says she will fight it as a handicap match. Princess Starbright limps out to be her partner, but Val lets everyone know that Starbright is back on “not cleared to wrestle” status. Starbright says she doesn’t care and goes to the ring. BASILISK attacks her and Val is forced to enter the ring and help her. The ref will not ring the bell, and tries to stop the fight, but Countess gives him a staff shot and he’s out. By the time, additional staff and security have made it to the ring, Voodoo has slapped on Auntie’ Hex and Starbright is out. She throws Princess to the ground, and Countess declares them the winners.
4) The Dungeon Masters and Moon Man come out for the next match. Conquer & Command come out to oppose them. Iron Mask says that Ninja Shadow was supposed to be their partner, but Countess is giving him the day off. Instead, they will be teaming with the newest member of BASILISK, Ace of Spades. Ace uses his new Royal Flush finisher to pin Moon Man and give BASILISK the win.
5) Drool comes out next. Skullgore comes out and says that he’s got some communiques’ to send to the Supreme Serpent, so Ninja Shadow’s day off is cancelled and he will face Drool in Skullgore’s stead. In a surprisingly good match, Shadow picks up the win.
6) Rex Spectrum is out with Haka Tonga. Haka says he came back to help take out Ryan Regret’s men, but this BASILISK threat is now his top priority. Cutthroat Carter enters and Rex demands they not fight. Carter says they won’t because he’s here because Haka asked. Honest Al anticipated a day like today would come, and he’s called WoW to arms. Ryan Regret has decided to answer the call. Carter and Haka shake hands. Haka says that they are on the same side, for now. Suddenly, Rex’ TV goes dead. Ace of Spades and Ninja Shadow jump Haka and Carter. Conquer & Command come in and wheel Rex’ TV offstage. Iron Mask says that Rex will be allowed back on the air when his protocols have been adjusted to meet BASILISK standards.
7) Ruffian, with Johnny Kobra, over Red Pirate Rogers.
8) Next, we cut to a video of a meeting room in WoW HQ. Honest Al, the ring announcer, and the announce team are there with Average Guy, Madame Tiki, Arizona Chance, and Mighty Leo. Al, in voiceover, says this was filmed earlier today, but that the events of tonight affirm everything he said at this meeting. On video, Al says that he can confirm that Countess’ threat is real. He has been contacted by the Supreme Serpent of BASILISK. They are attempting a hostile takeover of WoW, but not in the sense of a traditional hostile takeover. WoW legal has advised him not to say too much right now. What he will say is that he’s issuing a call to arms. Whichever locker room you dress in, if you are loyal to WoW then you need to step up. BASILISK will be expanding its roster soon, and WoW will need all the soldiers at its disposal. He calls the four people in the room the rallying points for the WoW faithful. They all agree to serve in this capacity. Arizona asks if Mr. Fantasy has been contacted. Al says Fantasy has nothing to do with this in any way, shape, or form, and is out of the picture. That being said, there’s a chance that some of Fantasy’s past sins have come back to haunt WoW again in that they may have provided BASILISK an opening. Al says that he’s said enough, and he wants everyone on a plane to the Rassletorium ASAP. He closes by saying that he’s already taking steps to slow down BASILISK from the business side, so all hope isn’t lost.
9) Back live, Buzzsaw is in the ring with Al. Al says that Lazer’s going to be out a while, and he needs to know if Buzzsaw has picked a partner for this tag title challenge. He says yes, and Chameleon Kid comes out. Wall Street, with Lyndi Harker, over Buzzsaw and Chameleon Kid to retain the titles.

Weekend Wrasslin’ 9/15/84 The Ballroom Great Crowd 797/43/**
1) The Valedictorian, with The Thinker, over Damon Van Winkle, with Franz Van Winkle. Thinker is still on crutches, claiming the leg injury caused by Jet Set Strutter’s Leglock is “slow to heal”. In the middle of this match, he reveals the truth when he attacks Franz with one of his crutches. Thinker is fine, but Franz is busted open and knocked out. This distracts Damon and sets up the pin. Val then attacks Damon with the other crutch. Devin and Terry Van Winkle are intercepted by Exotic Rick and The Flawless One during the save attempt, so all 4 Van Winkles end up on the floor.
2) Wall Street, with Lyndi Harker, and The American Heroes fought to a double countout in a non-title match. Harker was wearing an expensive-looking dress, a fur coat, and was dripping in diamonds. Her actions led to the match spilling out to the floor, and it never recovered from there.
3) Spunky Sparks came out for her match with Lyndi Harker. Harker had remained at ringside from the prior match. Spunky said that it looks like Lyndi’s not ready for this match. Harker grabs a ringside attendant by the ear and drags him in the ring. She makes him help her undress. She has her wrestling gear on under her evening gown, but she wrestles barefoot. Spunky is turning red with embarrassment. The attendant drops a piece of jewelry as he climbs through the ropes, and Lyndi slaps him. Tycoon appears on the ramp with two more ring attendants and orders them to help the first guy. They finally get Harker’s attire to the back as she and Tycoon berate them. Sparks tells Harker that she should be nice to those people. Harker laughs and attacks her. Harker goes on to win with her Sitout DDT.
4) Al comes out before the next match. He says this is the mask vs. mask match between Freedom Fighter and Copper Commander that’s been brewing for weeks. He said that he made a change this morning, and it is now a flag match. Each competitor comes to the ring with their flag, American and BASILISK, and they are affixed to stands outside the ring. The match is a war. The end came when Freedom Fighter retrieved the American flag and was about to wave it in the center of the ring when Iron Mask interfered. Copper Commander grabbed his flag and it looked like a win was in order. CC was set in the center, and his flag was held high. Before he got one wave in, FF came out of nowhere and nailed him with the Haymaker of Justice. CC was out, and FF grabbed his flag. Iron Mask tried to interfere again, but FF dropped him with another Haymaker and waved his flag for the win. FF’s allies came out and surrounded the ring. As expected, BASILISK cameo out, but were unable to break the blockade. CC was still dazed from the Haymaker, so FF removed his mask for him and propped him up in the corner so everyone could see his face. Iron Mask recovered and helped his partner from the ring. Countess got on the mic and asked FF if he was proud for revealing an unknown face to the public. FF said he was. “I didn’t think we would know that face. Copper was a BASILISK grunt, not a wrestler with a new identity. What just happened so that BASILISK can be taken down. It may be brick by brick, but this impenetrable wall you seem so proud of will shatter.” Countess, “you keep believing that. All of you believe that. With BASILISK, if you manage to break one brick, we plug that gap with two stronger ones.”
5) Max Attack over Zeke Mullet.
6) Princess Starbright is with Al. He is upset with her for adding herself to the tag match two weeks ago when she was not cleared to wrestle. She put herself and WoW in a precarious position. He said she was barred from the arena until cleared, and he had personally seen the report. She argued, but Valley Girl and Average Guy came in. Guy said it was his idea. Starbright got mad at both of them and stormed off. VG said it was a good idea, as Princess wouldn’t be able to not involve herself in situations that she felt needed attention. Al said he would make sure she was escorted off premises.
7) Skullgore and Iron Mask defeated The Gladiators.
8) Cutthroat Carter, Papa Choppa, and Troglo are out. Carter says that with the new status quo, Ryan Regret will be handling their business from a distance as opposed to his former hands-on approach. Papa mumbles something about “scared of BASILISK”. Carter says that we don’t care if the crowd likes us or hates us, but we won’t be doing anything different. We will just be doing it to people who the crowd dislikes more than us. Countess walks up. She says that Regret’s actions prove he is a coward. She suggests that they put last weeks’ mishap behind them, and the three of them, plus The Mad Arab, consider joining her. Troglo looks like he’s about to club her, so Carter stops him. “I think Troglo speaks for all of us, lady. Leave before I let him crown you.”
9) In a TV Title match, Exotic Rick, with The Thinker, retains against Dicky Thunderbird.

2) Ninja Shadow, with Countess, over Michael T. Wolf.
3) Death Star Boy, with Dark Invader, over Jessie Wild.
4) Devin Van Winkle over Chameleon Kid.

6) Grand Manga over Ninja Shadow with Countess.
7) Devin Van Winkle, with Terry Van Winkle, over Death Star Boy with Dark Invader. TVW and DI fought outside the ring and both were ejected.
8) Ace of Spades comes out. Al asks him about his affiliation with BASILISK. AoS says he is, and while it wasn’t by his choice, it’s a sweet deal so he’s going to ride it for now. Al asks about the “bill” that BASILISK paid on behalf of him. “Bill” means “a debt”. Al asks what exactly what debt did they cover for you? “It didn’t have anything to do with the amount of time you spent in Vegas, did it?” AoS said it was nobody’s business, but “BASILISK knows a good thing when they see it”. Al says that he heard AoS had to get permission from Countess to do this interview without her babysitting him. AoS laughs and says Al’s wasting his breath. “Countess and I have an understanding. I support BASILISK, and she lets me do my own thing, for the most part.” Al asks what “for the most part” means. “So you’re still a BASILISK puppet then?” AoS responds by walking off as Al smiles after him. 9) Grand Mana defeats Devin Van Winkle to win the 1984 Cruiserweight Cup.

Countess is in a room with the BASILISK contingent. She tells them that the takeover symbolically begins tonight. While the behind-the scenes machinations are still ongoing, no thanks to a surprising amount of mettle shown by Al, we need to keep pushing forward. 1) The Queen of Mean over Aurora.
2) Arizona Chance, Average Guy, and Mighty Leo defeated The Frat Boy Bullies and Brit Buckingham in a Trios elimination match. Leo was eliminated. Al came out and told the fans this is the vanguard for WoW. This is our first line of defense.
3) Troglo and Iron Mask fought to a 20-minute draw. Iron Mask spent a lot of time stalling, and the crowd hated him for it.
4) Skullgore and Ninja Shadow, with Countess, over Papa Choppa and Cutthroat Carter.
5) Yuppie VP and Pat Cabbage fought to a double-disqualification. Lyndi Harker came down and scolded Yuppie about something. He didn’t look happy with her.
6) Ace of Spades over Haka Tonga with Professor Gigawatt.
7) Michael T. Wolf over Cesar Sleaze. Both men were attacked post-match by Ninja Shadow and Iron Mask. Mighty Leo made the save. An announcer asked them why they targeted these two men, and IM said they’d been identified as possible future threats to BASILISK’s expansion.

3) Bug Buster over The Annihilator and Juan Tijuana in a three-way match. Skullgore came out to observe the match, then left at the pin. 4) Countess and Auntie Voodoo over Glam and Sgt. Shipley.
5) Max Attack over Cesar Sleaze. Both men spoke briefly before the match, and appeared to be on the same page. As soon as Max pinned Sleaze, he assumed a defensive posture as if waiting to be attacked. Sleaze joined him upon recovery, but no attack came.
6) Until…Arizona Chance walked out and headed to the ring. Max was fine, but Sleaze was less sure. Before Chance made it to the ring, Skullgore and Ace of Spades attacked him. 7) Howl n’ Roar came out. Leo said this might be the shortest team break-up in history, but Al has asked them to put the team back together from time to time. He and Michael talked, and decided it would be for the good of WoW. H n’ R defeated Ninja Shadow and Iron Mask in the match.
8) Al is out with Buzzsaw. He tells Al that Wall Street did a number on Lazer’s leg and knee, and he will be out several months. Al asks Buzzsaw about BASILISK. If the threat of BASILISK is about to grow as he’s heard, then he’s glad to help fend them off. Once Lazer’s back, they will decide where the Blade Blasters go from there. Al reports that he’s been informed that Copper Commander has been “discharged with malice” from BASILISK for his actions surrounding his unmasking. Buzzsaw says that doesn’t sound very pleasant.
9) Average Guy retains the WoW Title against The Valedictorian with The Thinker. The Flawless One and Exotic Rick show up after the match, and The Think Tank menace Guy. Jet Set Strutter and Terry Van Winkle even the odds, and the Tank retreat.

Val, “you worry and complain so much about my friends and partners, The Think Tank, at ringside. I don’t need them to win, but they seem to bother you. Give me a match and you can bring four people out right up front to watch my four people. All at ringside at the same time, a lumberjack match. Mike looked at it and tore it up. “You think we are going to pay for damages to your death machine when our goal all along was to destroy it? Halloween Hellraiser 10/28/84 Silver Stadium Great Crowd 11185/49/***
1) Honest Al is backstage with Professor Gigawatt. Al says he understands the professor has a special presentation this evening. The Professor brings out Roboelectro. However, Robo looks somewhat different than before. This time, he’s all white with a blue “face”. Per The Professor’s request, Al asks Robo about his current programming. Robo says that The Professor recently rewrote his code, as his targets have changed. The men who destroyed the original Roboelectro unit are now in the favor of WoW. The wrestlers affiliated with BASILISK are the new targets. Al thanks The Professor for the code change. Robo says that he is fully functional, and capable of handling the targets from BASILISK.
2) In a TV title three-way match, Reptile Ranger defeats Exotic Rick and El Presidente to take the title. Ranger bails before any post-match altercations occur. Rick offers to shake EP’s hand, then hits him with the Exotic Awakening.
3) Lyndi Harker defeats Elfette. Harker comes out completely dressed and accessorized, and disrobes down to her wrestling gear. She is already wearing her boots, however. Elfette seems enthralled by Harker’s sparkling jewelry, and Lyndi taunts her with it.
4) Jet Set Strutter over Ace of Spades. Iron Mask, Ninja Shadow, and Skullgore attack after this match. JSS fights them off briefly, but they take over. Roboelectro comes to the ring and proceeds to throw the BASILISK affiliates over the top rope. Iron Mask tries to get back in the ring, and takes a clothesline that looks like it kills him. After their retreat, JSS offers Robo his hand. Robo studies it then walks off. The Professor comes out and apologizes, saying that he hasn’t had time to program social pleasantries yet. JSS says, “regardless, I’m glad he came.”
5) Skullgore and Ninja Shadow, the participants in the next match, are recovering just inside the entrance way on the backstage side. Skullgore says they will attack Robo and Strutter when they come through. Barbaric Nature, Skull and Ninja’s opponents in the next match, attack them from behind and throw them through the entrance. They drag them to the ring, and the match is on. BN go on to win the No-Holds-Barred match. Carter and Choppa come and guard the ring against attacks.
6) The Flawless One, with The Thinker, over Terry Van Winkle.
7) Auntie Voodoo is out. She shows off the Ladies’ title. She says her goal is to please Countess, and Countess is very pleased right now. She tells Valley Girl to stay out of her sights, or she will be sent away like Princess Starbright. She tells Madame Tiki that her “reign of terror” is over as champion. “If I’m not the champ, then either Gorgon or Countess will be. These are foregone conclusions.”

Sunday Night Slam 11/11/84 Rassletorium Sold Out 1082/46/**
Jet Set Strutter is walking around backstage looking for Pierre. Nobody knows anything until a production assistant walks up and says that Pierre called out for “personal reasons”. JSS mentions that Pierre hasn’t been returning his calls all week. He asks the PA to get Pierre on the phone for him.
1) Lyndi Harker over Gorgon Tokoro and Gothica in a three-way match. Harker and Tokoro showed a great deal of cooperation, and it was essentially a handicap match for Gothica.
2) The next match was scheduled to be JSS and Pierre against Valedictorian and Exotic Rick. JSS came out alone. The Think Tank members mocked Pierre for his absence. JSS smiled and said that he had the situation well in hand, as he always does. He said, “My new partner may not know what a handshake is, but he is a master of a hard punch…. Roboelectro 2000!!” Strutter and Robo defeat Val and Exotic Rick when Rick submits to the 6-Figure Leglock.
3) In a rematch, Haka Tonga defeats Ace of Spades.
4) Jessie Wild over Iron Mask, with Countess, and Papa Choppa. There was an uneasy alliance between Wild and Choppa. They got into a shoving match afterwards. Carter came out. He said the Ryan’s telling them that they were on the “side of the angels” going forward doesn’t change one thing. They will not be disrespected by either side. Wild and Choppa reluctantly shake hands.
5) Red Pirate Rogers, with Arizona Chance, defeated The Flawless One. TFO asked why Chance felt the need to be at ringside, as none of the Think Tank were there. Chance said he didn’t trust anyone from the Think Tank not to get involved, and, according to rumors, The Think Tank weren’t the only group backing TFO. TFO looked genuinely surprised, and Chance suggested that he talk to the guy who claims to have all the brains. 6) Death Star Boy came out and called out Grand Manga. He mentioned the new directive for Evil Empire, and said that he was going to reveal part of it. He said that he would be the new Cruiserweight Champion and there was nothing GM could do about it. GM mimed like he was upset about the threat and afraid of DSB. He took off the belt and “handed” it to DSB. DSB didn’t take the bait. GM nodded, shrugged, and walked off. 7) Zen over Cesar Sleaze.
8) Backstage, Crash is scolding Bug Buster. He’s upset because BB didn’t help him while the Bullies were double-teaming him. “After all, I helped you against the Buggs several times.” BB agreed and apologized. He promised to watch Crash’s back better. The Insectoids walk up with a canvas bag with a dollar sign on it. BB comments that he didn’t even know those were a real thing. Mike Bugg says “this is $5,000 dollars of our money. More than enough to repair your murdering Daddy’s death machine. You put up $5,000 of your own, and we will give you a match. You have to pin both of us though.” BB looks at Crash and asks “one more time?” Crash nods. Mark Bugg, “Uh, no. You see this will be a handicap elimination match. You versus both of us. You pin both of us and you win 5 grand. You fail to do so and you’re out the cash. What do you say?” Crash says he shouldn’t accept it, but BB says “you don’t think I can handle them? You’re on, you little pests.”
9) Wall Street, with Lyndi Harker, over Barbaric Nature to retain the WoW Tag Team Championship.

Weekend Wrasslin’ 11/17/84 The Ballroom Great Crowd 1042/46/**
Pierre is walking backstage greeting everyone in his usual cheery way. Jet Set Strutter approaches and asks how he’s been. Pierre casually says “fine, boss” and keeps walking. JSS says that I’ve been calling for weeks and left messages. Pierre casually says that he never got any of them and keeps walking. JJ finally steps in front of him, and Pierre finally looks annoyed. “We were supposed to team last week, and you called out with personal reasons,” said JSS. “Yep. Personal, which mean I don’t want to talk about them. Hope you found a good sub. Gotta get ready. I’m up first tonight,” replied Pierre. He pushed past JSS and walked on.
1) Enormous Pierre had an easy time with The Annihilator. As he was waving to the crowd after the match, JSS came out. Pierre gave him a quick “oh, you again” look. JSS reminded Pierre that he was scheduled for Survival of the Fittest next week. Pierre said, “See you there, boss” in passing as greeted the fans.
2) Tennis Pro defeated Buzzsaw and Ninja Shadow in an unusual way. ‘Saw and Ninja literally ignored Pro once the bell rang. They exclusively fought each other. If Pro tried to involve himself in the action, they just pie-faced him away. Finally, their battle spilled out of the ring and they fought to the back, leaving Pro in the ring. After a few minutes of waiting, the ref stopped the match and awarded it to Pro despite these matches being No Countout/No DQ. The All-Pros walked out and made fun of Pro for the way he had won. Pro just took it and seethed. He finally yelled that he was going to buy the baddest, meanest partner he could find so he could teach both of them some manners.
3) Gorgon Tokoro over Aurora. Countess walked out. She said it’s been a long time since a Cimmeternia fought someone representing BASILISK. The results are the same now as they were then. She told Aurora that she and her brother, He-Beast, are going to absolutely hate the future under BASILISK. “We will be playing favorites; I can assure you. You won’t be one of them, but we’re keeping you around because we need training drones to practice on. You and your brother can fill that role, can’t you?”
4) Ruffian, with Johnny Kobra, over Crash. The Bullies double-team Crash again after the match.
5) Dungeon Crawler over GoblinKnight.
6) We see a P4V commercial for Survival of the Fittest. They talk to Average Guy about his title defense against Ninja Shadow. Countess claims that Ninja will take the title, and her SotF team of Ace of Spades, Skullgore, and Iron Mask will take out Jet Set Strutter, Roboelectro 2000, and Enormous Pierre. Exotic Rick says that The Think Tank will be taking on The Van Winkles in a steel cage. He also says that he’s going to have a message for the WoW champion that night, regardless of who he is.
7) The Gladiators over The Muscle Men.
8) The Van Winkles are out with their father, and Franz has something to say. Franz says that he wants a shot a beating up the Thinker, but he knows the Thinker would never accept that challenge. Even as old as Franz is, he’s twice the man Thinker ever could be. So, they ran this by Al, and he made it official. If The Van Winkles beat The Think Tank in the cage, Franz gets five minutes in the cage with the Thinker. The Think Tank immediately come out screaming about the unfairness of it all.
9) The Flawless One wins the WoW TV Title from Reptile Ranger. Ranger isn’t fully recovered from the Flawless-Plex through the announce table, but he refuses to cancel the match.
