Weekend Attitude 8/24/96
Golden Plaza

1) In a three-way match, the returning Grand Manga defeats Orion Northstar and Cabb.

2) Def Row over The Leading Men. Notorious BB, “you know, we might’ve come up short in the TTI, but I can’t deny it’s nice not having Mr. Fantasy looking over your shoulder.” Zap, “you right. He’s still taking our money, though. We gotta do something about that.” Big, Bad Doctor comes out. “You two idiots need to shut the Hell up. Fantasy isn’t taking your money, he’s taking his. You’re a couple of scumbag thieves and nothing more.” Def Row try to attack BBD, but he leaves them both laying.

3) Lazer is with Ichabod Twist. “It seems the Undermaster has identified you as a threat to his supremacy. What are you thoughts about being targeted by the Lord of-“ Lazer, “are you still going on about that Hell stuff? Hell was a soundstage at your old building, nothing more. As for being targeted by Undermaster, I look at it as he’s been avoiding me till now. The clash was inevitable, and I’ve been ready for a long time. Undermaster will be humbled.”

4) Valkyrie over Femme Fatale. Gorgon Tokoro comes to the ring, and the two ladies square off.

5) Iron Mask and Cobalt Commander are out. Iron Mask starts to speak, but CC steps in front. “Please, Mask, allow me to speak this time.” IM nods and steps back. “Chance Solar…Detective X….hear my words and the hate behind them. Your contribution to the fall of BASILISK was our original motivation for wanting to hurt you and your careers. Now, it’s beyond that. You’ve made a mockery of our loathing for you, and we will end this. It’s personal. We challenge the two of you to a cage match, and the losers are out of WoW. Gone. Accept our challenge you cowardly scum.” Iron Mask, “ well said, commander. Solar, Detective, we’ve laid it out there. My partner and I will be the ones to rid WoW of your infection. We know that Chance Solar is a walking legend. An icon. If you accept our challenge, you will be but a memory. We will take you down, permanently.”

6) The Daredevils over Mount Crushmore.

7) Beer Can Man comes out. “Crush, get out here. I know you’ve been running your mouth backstage about me. If you come to this ring, right now, I’m going to shut you up.” Destruction Crush comes out, but Beer Can Man picks up another win. “Changing clothes, even trying to copy a great team like Destruction, doesn’t make you a better wrestler. You’re still the same Crash that everybody’s been beating for years.”

8) BCM is cut off as we switch to backstage. We see Big, Bad Doctor beating up Cadaver. Undermaster is not at the arena tonight, so Cadaver receives no assistance.

9) Tatters Gage retains the Cruiserweight title against Rager Gage.

SummerSmash 8/31/96
Slaughterhouse

We are back in the Whole New Era’s version of the Slaughterhouse Disco for this year’s Summersmash.

1) Tatters Gage retains the Cruiserweight title against Grand Manga.

2) Mr. Fantasy walks out. He says that Blaine decided to join his sister as a guest of the Undermaster. However, their “vacation” will end tonight when Big, Bad Doctor defeats the Undermaster. UM comes out He says that the only thing that will end is The Fantasy Family’s control of WoW. He calls for the screen. We see Blaine and Tiffany sitting in a room with Jenny Dreadful. Tiffany, “Hi, Daddy. We’re fine. Don’t worry. This has been the most restful vacation of my life.” Blaine, “I should’ve let you know I decided to stay, but it was kind of a…” he looks at Jenny…”last minute decision.” Jenny, “all this lovey-dovey family stuff is just precious. By the way, “Daddy” Fantasy, after Undermaster defeats BBD, you will be joining your lovely children on their vacation as our guest.” UM, “better pack a bag, Fantasy. You will be leaving right after this match. You will, of course, sign over the promotion before you leave.” MF doesn’t say a word, but sits at the announcers table. UM continues to talk to MF, and out of nowhere BBD jumps him from behind. The two fight for a long time outside the ring, so the match isn’t official yet. Finally, they make their way to the ring, and UM takes over. In the end, BBD’s dominance over UM continues, and he picks up the win. MF leaps to his feet and joins BBD in the ring. The Fantasy siblings, who had remained on the screen the whole time and were watching the match, leap to their feet and embrace awkwardly. Jenny jumps up to break them up, and Tiffany punches her. She goes down and they leave the room. The camera feed ends. Cadaver joins UM in the ring. He seems to try and offer aid, but UM shoves him away. UM goes after Fantasy, but BBD blocks his way. MF, “you lose, Undermaster, YOU.LOSE. We can discuss your future with WoW in due time, but this little coup attempt will not be forgotten. You, Cadaver, Jenny, and Ichabod Twist are all on notice. I had better find out my kids are unharmed, or the Hell you pretend to know so well will pale in comparison to the Hell on Earth I will put you through.”

3) Strongarm Thompson comes out. He says that he and Average Guy have been on opposite sides of the ring for decades. He and Otto have face Guy and as many different partners as you can imagine. He calls out SilverGod. He tells a story about visiting Guy’s house during one of the rare times they were on the same side. He talks about “Little Rusty Reynolds” playing with toys on the floor, and how proud Vernon was of his son. “What you’re doing to your Daddy is despicable. I’m not going to stand for it, kid. Your dad doesn’t need me to fight his battles, but I want to fight you for myself.” SG, “that little boy on the floor has nothing to do with SilverGod. We are as far apart as the East and the West. Answer this, Thompson, if Vernon Reynolds cared so much about little Rusty, where was he most of the time?” ST, “he was out making a good living for you and your momma, punk.” SG, “You know what would’ve been an ever better living? A life with him in it. Stop defending my deadbeat Dad.”

4) Cadaver retains the TV title against Pharaoh.

5) Samson over Dark Mauler.

6) In a WoW tag team title match, The Insiders defeat VTC and HFK.

7) A commercial for the cruiserweight cup P4V airs. The first four entrants are Orion Northstar, Rager Gage, Dragonfly, and Suicide.

8) In a Ladies’ title match, Valkyrie defeats Gorgon Tokoro to win the Ladies title. VTC comes out to congratulate her. The Insiders return and attack Vlad. The video screen shows HFK backstage, and he is being attacked by Gorgon Tokoro and Femme Fatale. They take him out. Val tries to defend Vlad, but Chicano grabs her again and drops her with a big move.

9) In a WoW title match, Blockbuster Brohan retains against Chance Solar.

Monday Night Live 9/2/96
Mid-South Court

1) Jenny Dreadful over Bombshell

2) Destruction over Johnny Kobra and Zen.

3) Quan is out with Al. He talks about his epiphany with the realization that “family holds you back. Since Pharaoh seems to have burned the bridge between us and Regret, damn him, it’s up to me…or is it? You see, it seems that my man Rager Gage has come to the same conclusion that I have. Brothers are a pain in the ass. Rager, let’s talk about our current situations and see if we can’t help one another. Find me, I’ll make it worth your while.”

4) In a Steel Cage match with a loser-leaves-WoW stipulation, Iron Mask and Cobalt Commander do the unthinkable and defeat Chance Solar and Detective X. Sgt. Shipley comes out in tears and embraces her husband. He tries to put on a positive face as IM and CC mock the proceedings. Detective X, who was pinned in the match, sits stunned in the corner. When Chance and Sarge try to console him, he shoves the away and storms out of the cage. IM and CC finally leave, and Chance asks for a mic. He’s now in tears. “Well, that was honestly unexpected. X, I know your upset, but stuff happens, man. We will move on from this. Sarge and I have already talked, and she will be sticking around. This is her home. Hopefully, it will be mine again someday, but for now…I must say good-bye.”

5) Skeleskreem, with Kannibal Keith, over Cesar Sleaze.

6) Strongarm Thompson over SilverGod when Average Guy makes an appearance. He doesn’t interfere, but his presence is a distraction. Afterwards, SG lays out both men with chair shots. Otis Thompson comes out to try and protect the two men, but SG takes him out as well.

7) Destruction Crash over Ronny Believer. Crash declares that he will win the Cruiserweight Cup and go on to take the title from Tatters Gage.

8) HFK, with VTC and Valkyrie, over Big Rig, with Chicano

9) Big, Bad Doctor wins the TV title from Cadaver, with Jenny Dreadful.

Sports Entertainment 9/12/96
Mojito Beach

1) Rager Gage over Grand Manga.

2) Cobalt Commander over Magnifico. CC looked like a new man in the ring, leading some to conjecture about whether or not they had resumed their identity swapping again.

3) Gorgon Tokoro and Femme Fatale over Sgt. Shipley and Elfette. The announcers tell us that there has been no word about Blaine and Tiffany Fantasy since their “vacation”.

4) Tennis Pro over Mandonna.

5) We see a commercial for the upcoming Cruiserweight Cup. The final entrants featured are Skeleskreem, Destruction Crash, Masakari, and Cabb.

6) In a non-title match, The Insiders defeat Undermaster and Cadaver, with Jenny Dreadful. Cadaver takes the loss. After the match, UM attacks Cadaver, calling him a “failure.” He lays him out with a Gravedigger. When Jenny tries to confront UM, he destroys her with a second Gravedigger.

7) Mr. Fantasy comes out, and Blaine and Tiffany are with him. All three are very subdued. Blaine says that he and his sister are going to take a couple more weeks off to recover. However, they will remain in 1/3 control of the company and will resume those duties upon their return. Tiffany says that things will be different. “My father, brother, and myself will no longer ally or associate with specific wrestlers. Gorgon, Femme Fatale, Ace of Spades, The Hunk, Big, Bad Doctor, and the Whole New Era can no longer expect special treatment from the Fantasy Family.” Mr. Fantasy, “this incident has brought our family together, and I’m very glad they’ve returned safe and mostly sound. While we will still share 1/3 control, I will now have right of final veto on decisions. However, the plan is to use that only in extreme emergencies. I want this to be a family affair going forward. Thank you.”

8) Blockbuster Brohan retains the WoW title against Samson. He’s joined in the ring by The Insiders after the match. Brohan, “2 things, brothers!! First, Undermaster….you stuck me in a damn casket. Unlike you, you sick freak, I don’t like that idea. Tonight’s the first night I’ve been out since you did that. I’m man enough to admit it bothered me. I’m over that. What I did to Samson just now is nothing compared to what we’re going to put you through. Second, Blaine Fantasy, you should’ve discusses your little announcement with us before making it. You don’t cut us loose like an afterthought. The WNE is WoW, and our association will be severed when we decide. I suggest you make an appointment with us so we can hammer out some details….before things get real ugly for you.”

Weekend Attitude 9/21/96
The Ballroom

1) Iron Mask and Cobalt Commander over Def Row. IM, “When Commander and I came here, it was to rid WoW of Detective X and, eventually, Chance Solar. Well, we have our revenge. We’ve been left standing, We were planning on moving on once we’d accomplished our mission, but we’ve changed our mind. We’re going to stick around and make life rough for everybody. Forget BASILISK, that’s behind us. We’re want this for ourselves. Insiders, beware.”

2) Samson is backstage talking to a familiar voice. The camera pans around to reveal Jet Set Strutter. Samson is welcoming him back. JSS says he’s here in light of what happened to Chance Solar. Dark Mauler walks up and says that JSS isn’t welcome back. “Much has changed since you were last here, and you no longer fit in. Iron Mask and Cobalt Commander did all of us a favor, and I commend them. Don’t ride in here like a big hero trying to set things right, because you will fail.” JSS gets in Mauler’s face. Samson’s separating them when Vin Voltage and Mad Arab attack from behind. The three-on-two continues until Mauler’s team retreats.

3) Elara Nexus over Femme Fatale. Elara tells FF that she’s not so tough without Tiffany “holding her leash.”

4) Zeke Mullet, with Cletus Mullet, over Cesar Sleaze.

5) Sgt. Shipley walks in on Mr. Fantasy. He isn’t happy, but he’s cordial. “Fantasy, how could you let that happen? You let one of your biggest assets get away. I know I’m biased, but you know I’m right.” MF, “Sarge, you are right. I know Chance’s value to WoW better than anyone. Whether we’ve been on the same side or on opposing sides, he’s always been a noble warrior. I wouldn’t have thought in a million years that Mask and his partner could beat Chance and X. Maybe your husband should’ve picked a better partner. X has always been up and down in the ring.” Shipley, “I honestly told him that. He liked the Detective a lot. He thought they could get the job done.” MF, “I’ve already tried to find some loopholes to bring him back, but-“ Sarge, “he already said “no”. He’s a man of his word.” MF, “Right now, that’s a bad thing for WoW.”

6) Jenny Dreadful is in an old gothic house. Penny walks in. PD, “what do you want?” JD, “I’m no longer with Undermaster. He betrayed Cadaver, my soulmate, and nearly ended me. Join me, again.” PD, “No. We had a good thing, the fans loved you. You left me to join Cadaver and Undermaster. I warned you. Now, you have to lay in your own filth. If I come back, it won’t be to fight with you or versus you. Right now, I’m still so disappointed in you…I can’t.”

7) The Grunge Brothers and The Hotsteppaz fight to a 30-minute time-limit draw.

8) Gorgon Tokoro over Elfette.

9) Big, Bad Doctor retains the TV title over Cadaver.

Cruiserweight Cup 9/26/96
Prince Charlie Hall

1) Round 1, Match 1 – Destruction Crash over Cabb. Ronny Believer and Beer Can Man tried to distract Crash, but he prevailed. Cabb hit Crash with his finisher after the match, leaving him in bad shape.

2) Round 1, Match 2 – Orion Northstar over Grand Manga. The match was wrestled without any issues between the competitors.

3) Round 1, Match 3 – Dragonfly over Suicide.

4) Round 1, Match 4 – Masakari over Skeleskreem. Kannibal Keith attacked after the match.

5) The Hunk is out, and he calls out Blaine. Blaine comes out seeming like more of his usual self, but less cocky. “Blaine, I don’t care about your new deal with your Daddy and Sissy. You guys do what you want. The Hunk doesn’t need any favors. I do need promises kept, and you know what I’m talking about. You tell me we’re still good there, and you have my blessings.” Blaine, “Hunk, a promises is a promise and I will keep mine. When the time comes, you will be able to count on me one last time.”

6) Semi-Finals – Destruction Crash over Orion Northstar.

7) Semi-Finals – Dragonfly over Masakari.

8) The Whole New Era are out. Brohan, “Undermaster, it’s me and you next week, and I’m putting this title up so you won’t no-show. You’re scared, UM. Your so scared your attacking your own people in frustration. How does it feel to be not in control? Nobody listening to your spooky, spooky threats. Next week is going to be too sweet. Big Rig, “Blaine, my man, where are you? We’re just thrilled that the divorce with Hunk went so well. We aren’t granting you a divorce. This isn’t a “with us or against us” deal. Blaine Fantasy, you are with us. Please understand, we don’t need you. We’ve accomplished everything we have in spite of you, not because of you. We aren’t just wrestling, we’re a Whole New Era in wrestling, and you’re a part of it, like it or not. You thinking you can just cast us aside is a joke. Talk to us, Blaine, our patience is thin.”

9) In the tournament final, Dragonfly defeats Destruction Crash to win the Cruiserweight Cup. Dragon is joined by Suicide, Cabb, Ronny Believer, and Beer Can Man. They taunt Crash, and BCM gives him a couple of cane shots before they leave.

Monday Night Live 10/7/65
Rassletorium

Al announces that the Whole New Era aren’t going to be here tonight as planned. The scheduled Brohan/Undermaster match will be rescheduled.

1) We open with Mr. Fantasy and Al. MF says that Tiffany and Blaine are back and doing great. They’re still working out the details of their shared control over WoW, but he expects everything to run smoothly. He does say that he knows the fans might be tired of seeing the Family all over their TV, and they will be taking a less visible role for the time being. He addresses the Whole New Era. “Gentlemen, stop the threats. Blaine is done with you. Despite your beliefs, you work for him, not vice-versa. You may have created this new mindset surrounding yourselves, but, in the end, you’re wrestlers working for my promotion. Your threats mean nothing more than any of the other’s we constantly get. You’ve got your hands full with Undermaster, and everyone else looking at you like the walking targets you are. Worry about them, ok?”

2) Devastatia over Gorgon Tokoro. “The only reason that I’m not still champion is Tiffany Fantasy. Without her protection, you’re nothing.”

3) Lazer over The Psycho Killers in a handicap match. “Undermaster, you’ve got a tough night ahead of you. In fact, you’ve got a tough life ahead of you. After Brohan gets his payback, this rising threat becomes your biggest threat.”

4) Vin Voltage and Mad Arab over Lifeguard Chip and Magnus Muscle.

5) Mandonna over Jacko Pop

6) SilverGod over the returning Slammer Johnson. He challenges Strongarm Thompson to a rematch “where you don’t get Daddy to help you.”

7) Iron Mask destroys Johnny Kobra.

8) The Queen of Mean over Femme Fatale.

9) In a three-way match, Undermaster defeats Cadaver, with Jenny Dreadful, and Big, Bad Doctor. During the match, we see a limo pull up, but nobody gets out. After the win, UM makes a line to the limo. He grabs a long metal object and starts trying to smash the windows while yelling for Brohan to get out. A man gets out of the driver’s seat and tries to fight UM. He gets a shot to the head for his trouble. UM crawls on the roof and tries to pry the sunroof open. We hear, “looking for us?” The WNE comes from another direction and attacks UM. He takes a powerbomb onto the limo roof and rolls off limply.

Sports Entertainment 10/17/96
Boston Arena

1) Queen of Mean over Dandelion and Elfette in a three-way. The Queen challenges Valkyrie to a title match.

2) Dark Mauler, Vin Voltage, and the Mad Arab over Def Row and Johnny Kobra. Jet Set Strutter comes out at the end. He tells DM and his team that they’ve pissed off two of the greatest of all time.

3) Jet Set Strutter over Exotic Rick.

4) Destruction Crash comes out. He says that Tatters Gage knows that even though he didn’t win the cruiserweight cup, he’s every bit as worthy of a title match as Dragonfly. Tatters agrees.

5) Cletus Mullet, with Zeke Mullet, over Mandonna.

6) Beer Can Man, Ronny Believer, and Cabb are in a room backstage. They are dressed in football gear with garish ornamentation attached to it, along with spiked pads, etc. They call themselves “The Destructonaters, “ and say they are the most “destructivating” team in all of WoW. They threaten to “destructinate” all the other teams. They’re going to conquer Wow with the help of their little buddy, “Squish the Destructonater.” Cabb walks around on his knees, talking in a squeaky voice, playing “Squish.” He talks about how much he loves Cutthroat, and tries to “kiss” Ronny. Finally, BCM drops the act. “Crash. Remember who you are and stop trying.”

7) Iron Mask and Cobalt Commander over Netherworld.

8) The Insiders are out. “You are about to witness a beatdown of epic proportions. Brohan may actually determine whether or not UM is alive or dead, because he’s going to beat him so badly. He was messed-up by that casket ride, UM, and the only thing worse than a sane Blockbuster is an insane one. You do recall that you no longer have any friends, don’t you?” No backups coming, UM, regardless of what happens before, during, or after the match.”

9) Dude Brohan retains the WoW title against Undermaster. Afterwards, The Insiders and Brohan execute a vicious attack on UM. For the first time in his career, UM is forced to leave the ring with medical attention, mainly because he’s physically unable to stop the medics from tending to him. Once he recovered somewhat backstage, he did fight off the medics and leave under his own power, barely.

Weekend Attitude 10/26/96
Canada Centre

1) Cadaver, with Jenny Dreadful, over Magnifico. Jenny celebrates the Undermaster’s condition after the beating he took last week.

2) Elara Nexus over Gorgon Tokoro.

3) In a match to determine the TV title challenger at Halloween Hellraiser, Mercenary defeats SilverGod.

4) Big, Bad Doctor and Notorious BB fight to a double-disqualification.

5) Ace of Spades is out. He says that Brohan doesn’t have a title match scheduled for Halloween Hellraiser yet, and he wants that shot. Brohan comes out and accepts.

6) Quan and Rager Gage over The Mullets. Rager says that “Quan was right about my realization that family keeps you down. Pharaoh, Tatters, you just felt what happens when the better brother is allowed to be his best and not dragged down by bad blood.
7) The Mad Arab over the returning Bobby Blitzworth.

8) We cut to backstage where Beer Can Man is being attended to after having been jumped from behind. He did not see his attackers, but he says he knows who it has to be.

9) Tatters Gage comes out. He says he’s scheduled to defend his title right now, but there appears to be some confusion. We cut to backstage again, and we see Dragonfly and Suicide have been taken out. The ref says Dragon won’t be cleared to wrestle. Tatters says to let Destruction Crash have tonight’s challenge and he will defend against Dragonfly next time. Crash comes out acting very appreciative of Gage’s gesture. The ring intros are completed, and Tatters heads back to his corner as the bell rings. Crash viciously attacks him from behind and gets a lightning quick 2-3/4 count. The match continues, with Crash fighting viciously, and an unsuspecting Tatters fighting for his life. Rager and Quan show up to try and distract him. Pharaoh comes out to attack them. Tatters fights through all this and gets the pin to retain. Ronny Beliver and Cabb attack Crash. Tatters joins Pharaoh outside the ring. Beer Can Man comes limping to the ring, but he’s jumped by Destruction. They drop him, and jump on RB and Cabb. Crash joins them in the brawl. Suicide and Dragonfly try to help, but the three men take them out. Standing tall in the ring, Choppa and Cutthroat offer Crash their hand. He accepts it and they tell him they want to talk backstage.

Halloween Hellraiser 10/31/96
Puro Dome

1) We open with Average Guy addressing the crowd. He promises not to show his face during the match between Strongarm and “my punk kid.” He doesn’t want to give SilverGod any excuses when Strong beats him. “Then, I’m going to beat him myself. I know the old man’s got one more pinfall in him where Rusty is concerned. I’m going to each that boy the error of his ways.”

2) The ref announces that as a consolation for missing his scheduled cruiserweight title match due to the attack by Destruction, Dragonfly is being added to the tonight’s TV title match. Mercenary wins the TV title by defeating Big, Bad Doctor and Dragonfly.

3) Princess Starbright over Gothica.

4) SilverGod over Strongarm Thompson, with Otto Thompson. “Daddy, you had your chance to teach little Rusty all those years ago, but you were too busy drinking and having fun after the matches. It’s too late now, pops. The SilverGod will take what little time you have left in your career away from you in one match. You will be finished.”

5) Tatters Gage and Pharaoh over Rager Gage and Quan.

6) Jet Set Strutter over Dark Mauler. Voltage and the Arab try to attack, but he gets away.

7) Mort’s Mausoleum is open, and the guests are Cadaver and Jenny Dreadful. Jenny apologizes to Mort for not following his advice and going with Undermaster. He’s unstable, and lashes out at his few allies when he screws up.” Mort, “I want to thank the WNE for ridding us of his blight, although it will only be temporary. He can’t be kept down.”

8) The Insiders retain the WoW tag team titles over Iron Mask and Cobalt Commander.

9) Blockbuster Brohan retains the world title versus Ace of Spades.

Monday Night Live 11/4/96
Boston Arena

1) Destruction come out for the opening match against the Gladiators. They introduce Crash as their newest member. He joins them in the ring. His knockoff homage gear has been replaced with the real thing. Cutthroat tells Crash that he and Chopper will be representing Destruction tonight. Cutthroat leaves the ring. Chopper tells Crash that “you best not screw this up.” The Gladiators laugh at what they say will be an easy win. Destruction go on to win, with Crash pinning Massacre.

2) HFK, VTC, and Valkyrie come out. They challenge the Whole New Era to a match at Survival of the Fittest. Val’s upset because the office says that Brohan will have a title match that night, so the Insiders will have to pick a female partner….if they accept the challenge. “I’m not sure if you two trolls can find a woman willing to spend that much time with you.”

3) Boomstix over The Hotsteppaz.

4) The Hunk is out. He is very to the point. He challenges Brohan to the title match at Survival of the Fittest. He calls it “a sin” that he’s never held it before. “The wages of that sin, Brohan, will be the death of your title run.”

5) Jacko Pop over Tennis Pro.

6) Average Guy over SilverGod in a bloodbath of a match. Guy comes out with the Thompsons, but after SG taunts him for “calling the nursing home for help,” he sends them back. After kicking out of the Glitterfall, Guy catches a shocked SG with a series of Average Elbows for the pinfall. “Rusty, Dad’s talking to you now. I’ve shown you that I can still whip your ass when it comes down to it. You ready to try and work this out?’ SG looked like he was thinking about it, then hit AG with a low-blow. The Thompsons come out, but SG cuts off Strongarm as he tries to climb in the ring. Otto pulls SG off, and drops him.

1) Succubus over Devastatia by Countout. Gorgon Tokoro walked out during the match, and ‘Statia took off after her. The two were separated quickly.

2) The All-Pros over Freakshow.

3) The Psycho Killers and Cadaver, with Mort Ishun and Jenny Dreadful, over Def Row and Fireball.

4) Dark Mauler over Big, Bad Doctor. Timely distractions from Vin Voltage cost BBD the match.

5) In a non-title match, Mercenary defeats Dragonfly.

6) Cabb is with Al. He’s out while Beer Can Man and Ronny are prepping for their tag title match. He’s here to challenge all three members of Destruction to face Extreme Danger at SotF.

7) Piranha over Johnny Kobra.

8) Blockbuster Brohan is out alone. He accepts The Hunk’s challenge. “I’ve run over or through every other challenger, Hunk. Why should you be any different?? You’re a hunk of cannon fodder, and that’s it. Undermaster, Samson, Ace, Vlad, Manga…I could go, but you get the point. You think you’re better than those guys? Hell yea I accept your challenge. If this were a running your mouth match, you might stand a chance. This is about wrestling, and I don’t think you do it half as well as you think you do.”

9) The Insiders retain the tag titles against Beer Can Man and Ronny Believer. The Insiders accept the challenge for SotF. Chicano says that “every woman on the roster has been begging to be their partner…and not just for the match.”

Weekend Attitude 11/23/96
The Ballroom

1) Extreme Danger (Beer Can Man, Ronny Believer, and Cabb) over Tennis Pro, Chief Buffalo, and the Piranha.

2) Big, Bad Doctor is out with Al. BBD asks Jet Set Strutter and Samson to let him be their partner at SotF against Dark Mauler and crew. “You might as well make it legit boys, because I’m showing up either way. Sam knows what I can do. The three of us can bury Mauler and his boys once and for all.”

3) The Haunted, Cadaver and Jenny Dreadful, over Lifeguard Chip and Bombshell.

4) Skeleskreem, with Kannibal Keith, over Cesar Sleaze.

5) The Insiders are out. They say they are about to choose the “lucky lady” who will help them put the Klick down for good. “Since wrestling loves a good mystery partner story,” they won’t reveal her until next week.

6) We see a P4V commercial for SotF. This one features the new, 3-man incarnation of Destruction. It shows Chopper and Cutthroat putting Crash through the paces to determine his worthiness. The video ends with the originals running off the cameraman as they prepare for the secret initiation ceremony that will make Crash a full-fledged member of the trio.

7) White Lotus over The Smooth Criminals.

8) In a Steel Cage match, Gorgon Tokoro defeats Devastatia.

9) In a TV title match, Mercenary retains against Dark Mauler. The Mar Arab and Vin Voltage try to attack him, but Big, Bad Doctor runs all three off. He calls out Strutter and Samson again, begging to be their partner.

Survival of the Fittest 11/30/96
London Grounds

The Whole New Era come out together. They introduce Blaine Fantasy. He comes out and apologizes for the way he treated them. “Tonight, we all come together again. I made a mistake in turning my back on you. Hunk, I’ve forgotten this promise I supposedly made to you, but it doesn’t matter because Blockbuster Brohan will walk out with the WoW title, and The Insiders will leave Vlad and Chet face down in a pool of their own blood. They have my 100% support.”

1) In the opener, Suicide defeats Tatters Gage to win the Cruiserweight title. He is joined by Dragonfly and Extreme Danger to celebrate.

2) In the first SotF match, Destruction defeat Extreme Danger. Crash and Cutthroat survive, with Crash finishing off Beer Can Man for the win.

3) Ichabod Twist calls out Jenny Dreadful. Without giving him a chance to speak, JD verbally tears into him. She says his continued alliance with the Undermaster, even after UM’s actions, shows what a low-life he is. “I already knew you were a scumbag, even when we were supposedly on the same side. I’ve never liked you one bit, and Cadaver’s wanted to rip your head off more than once. I had to talk him out of it even though it would’ve made me quite happy. You and UM belong together. You’re both garbage.” Twist, “Jenny, the only mistake UM might have made is in not realizing what losers you and Cadaver were earlier. If anything, he was too loyal. When Keith and Skeleskreem failed miserably, he cut them loose. Coming back without his permission was a grievous error. He stuck by Cadaver far too long. You should be grateful your pathetic soulmate still has use of his limbs. He deserved worse than he got.” With that, Jenny slaps Twitch to the ground. “Twist, I suggest you take a long break from WoW, just like your cowardly master. His days are over, and if I, Cadaver, or the Psychos see your face, your’s will be too.”

4) In the second SotF match, HFK, VTC, and Valkyrie over The Insiders and their female partner, Gorgon Tokoro. Val hit Chicano with her finisher while the ref was distracted. She covered, but the ref wouldn’t count the inter-gender pinfall attempt. Val jumped off and HFK covered him for the eliminations Only HFK survived the entire match.

5) Lazer is out. He says he’s a lost soul. The entity that made him they Lazer is he is today was long gone by the time he returned. Now, the Undermaster has left after being injured by the Whole New Era, just as he and UM seemed to be targeting one another. “I don’t know what my future holds. I will continue to dominate my matches while waiting for a sign. Hope and pray that sign doesn’t point to you.”

6) In the final SotF match, Jet Set Strutter, Samson, and Big, Bad Doctor defeat Dark Mauler, Vin Voltage, and Mad Arab. It is a clean sweep for the winner.

7) The Hunk comes out for the main event. The Whole New Era and Blaine Fantasy come out together. The ref orders The Insiders to the back and Blaine overrides him as management. Hunk seems outnumbered and Brohan tells him he doesn’t have a chance. The match has been ongoing for a while when HFK and VTC come out and get in the Insiders faces. They draw them away from the ring. Blaine seems upset they’re leaving. Then, a timely interference on Blaine’s part allows Hunk to get the advantage and hit the Hunka Dunk for the win and the title. Blaine and Hunk shake hands and Fantasy leaves. We cut backstage where HFK and VTC have taken out the Insiders. Hunk celebrates with his title as the show ends.

Monday Night Live 12/2/96
Cattle Castle

1) In a three-way to determine Valkyrie’s next challenger, The Queen of Mean defeats Elara Nexus and Succubus.

2) Blockbuster Brohan is out alone. He says he left The Insiders backstage on purpose. He didn’t want to play the numbers game this time. He wanted to talk to the Hunk one-on-one. “You beat me with the help of Blaine Fantasy. That’s indisputable. I almost feel stupid for falling for his crap. Blaine, I’m not going to threaten you or beat you up. I’ve asked the Insiders to let you be. What you did doesn’t matter anymore. The match is done, and I lost my belt. It was a bs win on Hunk’s part, but I’m not even complaining about that. Hunk knows he couldn’t beat me without help. I challenge him to prove it. At Tournament of Queens, Hunk, it’s going to be me and you. Nobody else. After the Insiders beat Vlad and his little buddy, I will send them away in the limo. I don’t want them near me, so you won’t have an excuse when I beat you and take my title back.”

3) SilverGod over Max Attack.

4) Hunk is out with the title. The crowd, by and large, is happy with the title change. Hunk says Brohan complaining about an opponent winning a match with help is definitely a case of “hey pot, this is kettle, you’re black. You can count the times Brohan’s retained the title on his own with one hand. Yes, I gladly accept a one-one-one match…except I don’t believe for one second the Insiders won’t show up when they realize their boy is going down for the 1,2,3…”

5) Curt Grunge over Vegas.

6) Jet Set Strutter over Dark Mauler.

7) Kannibal Keith and Bobby Blitzworth fight to a double countout when their partners involve themselves in the match.

8) Jenny Dreadful over Bombshell.
