Droz would be cool, but then we need D'lo Brown for a feud (Yes might be in bad taste, but still...). And if we have D'lo we need a full Nation of Domination, plus The Boricuas and Disciples of Apocalypse. But Nasty Boys sounds more logical |

I'm thinking 87 for a start date through 99 obviously. And while I'd prefer a longer run, the fact I think we could use more trios teams makes me hope a team with them and Great Ginzu.

No but Shredder teamed with Rocksteady and Bebop. You can always use the secondary influences.

Actually Nasty Boys & Muta would have made for a hell of an interesting team....Muta hits a guy with the Mist then the Nasty's do the Pit Stop.....yeah good luck washing your face afterwards LOL!

They could actually start in 1985. They wrestled between AWA, Memphis, and Florida Championship Wrestling (The territory with bigger name guys from the NWA, not the modern FCW known as a stepping grounds for possible future named wrestlers) between '85-'88. I remember them having a lot of back and forth matches with the Midnight Rockers (later just The Rockers in WWF) during the '85-'86 time period as AWA was showing episodes every afternoon on ESPN at this point. One piece of trivia I never knew until now: While in Memphis, Jerry Lawler tried to get them to wear gold spandex tights and long boots. (God, just the thought makes me feel they would have gone on to be The Ding Dongs). |
