“AMAZONIA CHANGE!!”
Arizona lowered his head as he walked through the tables to he and Veronica’s assigned seating.
“AMAZONIA CHANGE! YOU’RE OVER HERE!”
Arizona looked down at his placard. Table 13. Of course, he’d be next to the Bad Luck Wrestler at table 13.
“Bradley, it’s good to see—“
“Amazonia! One or both of us is walking away with another Jammie or two! It’s a great night! Look, they’re showing highlights of our J-1 match!”
Arizona managed a glance upward at the video screen. A still image of Chance arguing with his former archaeology professor. Another of jumping through fans. Another of he and Brad doing the conga, Arizona with a rose in his mouth. And finally, a still of the moment when both of their evening gowns were—
“Brad, I’ve gotta find the restroom. Ronnie, meet Seph Kobane, and I know you already know Bradley.” Zona suddenly had a second urge to lose his lunch.

“And the winner is… Arizona Chance versus…”
In that moment, Arizona’s head began swimming. He began to break out in a cold sweat. The room started to spin. ‘No, this can’t be happening,’ he thought. ‘In spite of decades of working my tail off, blood spilled, tendons snapped, cartilage worn down to knubs, I’m going to be forever remembered for the worst night of…’
“Conor Caine!”
There were three things Arizona had wanted more over the course of his lifetime than to hear Conor’s name be called after his. In order, they were Veronica to accept his marriage proposal, his first world title, and the junior archaeology set he received for Christmas the year his belief in Santa started to waver. He rose with a slight amount of difficulty, genuinely overcome with emotion— but the emotion was relief. Arizona headed to the stage and was met by Conor a few moments later.
“Conor… what can I say except that Grandpa would be proud— no, is proud as he’s looking down on you. That was a special night, a special build, a special match, and a special opponent. The fact that you’re moving as well as you are is a testament to your grit, and you damn near beat me on one leg. You truly are Relentless.” Arizona stepped aside for Conor’s remarks.

Conor steps forward and, speaking into the mic, rests a hand on Chance's shoulder.
"I was pretty sure, going into our match, that it was the last match of my career and, as such, I had a job to do... "It's my belief that your duty as a Champion is to elevate the title higher than the guy before you did, and if you're going to drop it, drop to somebody who'll elevate it even more. Inheriting the JWA World Title from Red Pirate Rogers, it was a tough task to build on his legacy, but if I was going to lose my reign to the GOAT, I was going to go out giving the performance of my career.
"Well, giving it my all got me maybe ten minutes into that match and then something unexpected happened. I don't know if it was divine inspiration from my Guardian Angel, or the motivation of working with absolute best in this business but our match became an out of body experience, something transcendental. A brutal balet played out wherein two men dreamt up the most unique ways to hurt and brutalise one another, and it was all meant - and recieved - with nothing but respect and admiration.
"Arizona, there's nobody I respect or admire in this business more than you. Your place in history is well cemented and even more so deserved. It was an honour to share the ring with a legend and I'll cherish this award for the rest of my life.
Thank you."
