Greetings, grapple fans!
It's the second week of our JWA Openweight Championship qualifiers, and we've got quite the match in store for you tonight. The three-time Women's World Champion Daisy Turner takes on perennial title challenger, former champion, and overall fan favorite Red Pirates Rogers, and wildcard Troglo! Daisy has shown in her time here in JWA that she can mix it up with the best of them and get wild when needed, and the Red Pirate is certainly no slouch, but Troglo is a literal wild man. Who will stand victorious and move one step closer to claiming the Openweight Title? We'll find out in just a matter of moments.
(The polls will be open for at least 24 hours. It doesn't matter who you vote for, just that you participate!)
Penguino punched his ticket to the JWA Openweight Championship match at Fortune & Glory last week, defeating The Greatest Wrestler OF DOOM and Lady Diana Gallus. It was quite the definitive win, as well. We hope to hear from Penguino here tonight to get his thoughts on this week's main event as well as who he thinks he might be facing at the pay per view.
Last week we saw Thumper Moore III get involved in Domination, Inc.'s tag team championship celebration, declaring that once he won the new Openweight Title that Omega Satyros should challenge him for it, which ultimately led to the JWA newcomer getting attacked by Satyros and Conor Caine. Thankfully, Red Pirate Rogers came to Moore's aid. Thumper Moore III has to face Duke Mongoose and Pierre The Enormous next week, but he may have to face an additional threat from Domination, Inc. We expect to hear from Thumper during tonight's show, as well as Duke and especially Pierre, since his good friend Troglo is competing here tonight. We'll also likely hear from the World Tag Team Champions as well.
JWA World Heavyweight Champion "The Reminiscer" Winter Hex is still off doing a film, and has managed to land a role for "The Debonair" Mack Caliber. We wish them the best of luck and anticipate their return to the JWA ring.
Who is the person seemingly infatuated with "Lord" Taylor Thorin? What's all this Blue Butterfly nonsense about?

LERAY: Welcome to JWA Mania! I’m Mick Leray and joining me as always is ‘Savvy’ Sean— I’m receiving word that there’s an altercation backstage. We’ve sent a video team along with Honest Sal to see what the ruckus is about.
The video team hurries in to see Thumper Moore III with Black Cat over his head, and he sends the AoE Hardcore Champ through the catering table. Around him are various heel members of the AoE roster, all in similar states of disrepair.
SAL: What’s going on back here? What’s the meaning of this?
THUMPER, (breathing heavily): Sincere Salvatore— greetings, and salutations. It appears that the ferocious feline and his pack of alley cats wanted to ensure I would not be able to compete against him for his title again. Rest assured, I do not want his bogus championship. I have my eyes set on another prize that will allow the JWA fans to better revel in my splendor.
SAL: So, they jumped you?
THUMPER: You are a man of small words, and yes, I was waylaid but, as you can see, a mere Pearl Harbor attack is no guarantee of success against a man of my prodigious talent. And, without the stress of a match, there was no need for an honorable, erudite man like Red Pirate Rogers to come to the rescue.
SAL: And what of the Crimson Corsair?
THUMPER: The enemy of my enemy is my friend. He and I are both scholars and gentlemen. I think we can find some common ground. In fact, I will be keeping a watchful eye over tonight’s proceedings. Should Omega, Conor, or any other member of Domination Inc attempt to intervene against the Burgundy Buccaneer, yours truly, Thumper Moore III Esquire, will assuredly be there to prevent it. And stay down!
As Black Cat begins to rise, Thumper delivers a swift kick to the ribs, ensuring he no longer poses a threat.

Cannons boom and the old school Pirates of Penzance recording follows Red Pirate Roger’s to the ring, his jacket whirling behind him. High-fiving fans as he marches to the ring.
LeRay: with a new title up for grabs and several of the JWA’s finest having hung up their boots, the Red Pirate comes into tonight’s match as one of the few open weight contenders with a singles title pedigree.
Beeman: what are the odds Troglo bites Roger’s’ face off?
LeRay: oh would you stop?!?

OOC: Sorry this is going to be very lazy (apologies)
Music begins to play as the Killer Divas begins their performance playing their usual hit "Crazy!" Everything goes as normal and Daisy enters the ring, much to the delight of the fans
Beeman: If I was Daisy, I'd be very pissed right about now
LeRay: and why is that?
Beeman: Well you were on top of the Women's Division becoming a 3 time champ, all of a sudden your title has bee replace by something else entirely and now all of a sudden you have to fight the exact same as everyone else, just to get a shot at the title. As much as I don't like Daisy you gotta admit, that's a pretty stupid position to be put in
LeRay: Oh Sean, it's a good thing that Daisy is nothing like you, while possessing a rockstar attitude, she's still a kind soul. If anything she probably would've given up the title and fight for it rather than just replacing it
Daisy now turns her attention to Red Pirate Rodgers & Troglo waiting for the bell to ring

LeRay: Before this match gets underway, let's go to these pre-recorded comments from Duke Mongoose.
Beeman: Good! I need a break from all the goody-goodies in the ring.
(A picture-in-picture box comes into the top left of the screen showing Duke standing in front of a JWA banner)
Duke Mongoose: Big Daddy Duke here! Just wanted to give a shout out to my boy Penguino. Congrats on your victory last week. I always knew you had it in you! I'm looking forward to slapping the Cobra Clutch on you and putting you to sleep at Fortune & Glory! You, and whoever wins tonight. My money is on Daisy Turner because she's one tough girl. Plus she'll be easier for me to crush! HA HA HA! Call your grandmother, this one's over!
(The box fades out as the referee calls for the bell)
LeRay: So Duke wants to face a penguin and a teenage girl. Yep, that tracks.
Beeman: Only if they both win their matches, Mick! He wants to fight the WINNERS!
LeRay: Duke still has to win his match next week, which will be no small feat considering who's he's up against. Just look at what Thumper Moore did single-handedly at the top of the show.
Beeman: Don't remind me. Hey, isn't this match underway? Do your job!

Diana's out in the ring for an interview with Toni Cruise, when a distorted voice starts playing on a loop
Voice: ...Tell them, or I will, Tell them, or I will...
Diana rushes backstage, face flushed in embarrassment and frustration. Cameras follow her backstage as she makes her way to Taylor Thorin's private suite. She barges in, finding it all but empty, with a small note, written and left by some member of the crew, reading "if needed reach Tembleberry at XXX-XXXX." She calls for a video chat.
Diana: I'm sorry, I didn't want this moment to be like this. But someone apparently found out that I'm the secret admirer, and I can't afford to let whoever it is be the one to announce it.
Tembleberry answers the call, exchanging a glance with Thorin hearing what she's saying.
Tembleberry: You're the one who's been stalking the Lord? The drone? The note in his drink?
Diana: What? No. The flowers and the stuffed animals. I was trying to be subtle to try and gage interest, but that opportunity was taken away from me. Note in the drink?
Tembleberry instructs Diana to go to JWA's DigiFoto to see the posts showcasing the more eccentric displays that had been attributed to the secret admirer.
Diana: Yeah, neither of those were mine.
Diana sets her phone down before hanging up, hiding the tears welling in her eyes, muttering under her breath.
Diana: So not only was someone trying to sabotage the announcement, rushing me into it, they also were actively sabotaging the whole thing. I'm sorry, this was a mistake.

Troglo catches one of Roger’s chops and with a laugh pulls him in and pulls him in to lift for a vertical suplex.
Beeman: this is gonna be a long fall for Roger’s!
Not content to sit back Daisy Turner lands a drop kick in Troglo’s belly staggering the caveman into a corner.
LeRay: Roger’s lands on his feet and turns to smile at Daisy
Beeman: C’mon that was a dumb move! Daisy shoulda let Troglo clobber the bilge rat and then sneak a pin.
LeRay: yeah, we wouldn’t want to see good wrestling would we?
Beeman: who cares what you want, Mick? Wrestlers are out there to win matches now Daisy’s got that water soaked stinkpot smiling at her
Rogers is smiling and mouths thank you with a flourishing bow to Daisy. She nods and then drop kicks him into another corner.
Beeman: She’s a genius! Go Daisy!
OOC: my phone auto corrects Troglo to the full word. Apologies if I don’t catch edits before hitting post

You asked for this. I will enjoy revelling in your squalor. You will be nothing. Omega turns back to Black Cat, and the camera man tried to zoom in and ask something. Omega shoves him back and curses him out. The cameraman doesn't immediately run off, resulting in Omega delivering a Satyr Kick right to the camera.

Troglo hits the turnbuckle hard and is staggering. Daisy and Red are on the opposite side of Troglo where Daisy comes up with a plan, she grabs Red's attention and says something the cameras could pick up
Daisy: I'm deadweight, throw me at him!
LeRay: Interesting strategy we're about to witness
Red does as she asked, lifted her up and threw her towards Troglo, however with her being dead weight. The attack has little to no effect as in a comedic moment, she bounces off Troglo almost giving herself whiplash as she collides with the mat. She staggers up a little a rest herself on the corner
Beeman: Well that was smart to say the least
Red Pirate Rodgers improvises and gives Troglo a dropkick which causes him to go backwards into the corner which is currently occupied by Daisy
Beeman: Uh oh are we about to see a live squashing
Daisy out of panic screams a bit before diving like she's never dived before to avoid Troglo, fortunately (depending on who you are), Daisy was not squashed. After she dived, she rolled out to just collect what almost happened. Meanwhile Red Pirate Rodgers was going all offence giving Troglo a few strikes in the corner.

LeRay: Daisy collecting herself now but Red Pirate Rogers isn’t no about to take a breath lefts B and rights…a tornado punch! He backs up a step and Cutlass kick to the chin!
Beeman: that would knock most people senseless…but Troglo doesn’t have any sense to begin with.
LeRay: Rogers is pushing and…is he going for the swashbuckler?!?
Beeman: Good luck!
LeRay: (realizing what he has said) No! BAD LUCK!! Terrible luck!!
Rogers goes to grab the caveman, but a bellow of: Red Friend Not NICE!!! Shows that he’s in trouble. Quickly Troglo turns the buccaneer into a gut Buster slam dumping him over the top rope and bouncing off the ring apron.
The camera catches Roger’s in pain before a chorus of boos begins and the camera turns up to see Connor Caine careening toward the pirate….
