I thought up something for an alternative for one of the wrestlers in the game.
Crow Alignment: Bad Status: Upper Mid-Card Career Years: 1990-1999 Type: Loner
Height: 6'1 Weight: 235lbs
"Eddy Grunge is a rocker by day alongside his brother, but now, he is the villainous "Crow", ready to whack his opponents with whatever he finds.
Finisher: Evenflow (Eddy Grunge's finisher)
Skill: 9 (12) Mic: 13 (16) Pop: 10 (13) Push: 9
Tag Teams: None (Until I make a Stevie Richards like character.)
Feuds Nest of the Extreme- Ronnie Believer +2 (Ronnie Believer has been fighting for the greater good of the promotion, but Crow and his group of followers have been terrorizing the company. It's an underdog story for Ronnie Believer. Can he win, or will Crow make the promotion the "Nest of the Extreme"?
Psychological Damage- Beer Can Man +1 (Crow has taken the Beer Can Man's wife and children into his group of followers, and the Beer Can Man is no longer allowing Crow to do these actions. It's as if Crow has done some psychological damage.)

I thought up something for an alternative for one of the wrestlers in the game. Crow Alignment: Bad Status: Upper Mid-Card Career Years: 1990-1999 Type: Loner yeah, no. Crow would be too similar to "the crow" which i'm pretty sure they don't want to touch as a legal battle. Depending how this character would look ingame, there's that whole sting thing also....

This is supposed to be a parody of Raven... so Sting's crow theme should have no effect here. calling him Crow wouldn't be copyright infringement either. I like this idea actually.

I realize it's a parody of Raven, but it's still not a great idea. It's unoriginal, bland and again, still too close for any comfort in naming it the same thing as a protected property. I wish people would spend a little more time being creative when coming up with ideas for wrestlers. You'd be better of naming him Eddy Allan Flow. A nice mixture of Eddy Grunge and the crow/raven idea (taking my inspiration from Edgar Allan Poe who wrote the poem "The Raven"). Eddy Allan Flow will also allow you to use the finisher "EVEN FLOW" to make a little more sense and tie in with the character.

I disagree, if solely based on the fact that Raven had his Flock, and a group of crows is technically called a “murder of crows”. A tag team with him and a Stevie Richards parody called “Crow’s Murder” would make it all worthwhile.

It's no "less original" than many of the wrestlers actually in the game.

In order to get them to notice the new wrestler, some things need to be kept in mind.
1) All references MUST be of things in the 80's and 90's. Late 70's is ok as long as the property extended into the 80's.
2) A character with multiple references to different things, to them, are much better than a wrestler using only one reference.
3) Don't expect the suggestion to be exactly the same as the one suggested. "Randy Snezer" became The Schmuck, for example.
4) Your not going to get payed or credit for it. Your not employed by Checkmate, only a user and fan.

I suggested the "Bug Busters" in the October update thread.
How about something for Resevoir Dogs? - Nice Guy Teddy - Mr Whyte Etc
Wayne Greaty (based on Wayne Gretzky - even though I dislike the Oilers).
Captain USA (Based on Hacksaw Jim Duggan).
Farm Boy (based on Luke Skywalker).
Scoundrel (based on Han Solo).

I'm surprised nobody suggested anyone from "Roboteck".
