Year 1983, and the famous Gladiators of the Ring promotion has risen back to fame! Running under the ownership of Mr. Greenhorn, wrestlers all around the world have come, for a shot to be in this world famous company. Greenhorn is all around the world, signing wrestler after wrestler, but now it's time he once again focuses on piecing together this company for another great year, starting now!
CHAMPIONS:
WORLD: Jet Set Strutter TAG: House of Shops TV: Reptile Ranger CW: Arizona Chance LADIES: Mother Russia
Superstar Saturday Boston Arena (Week 1)
Officer Chip vs Rad Racer - These two rivals clashed against each other in a pretty one sided match. Officer Chip was pretty much running his mouth, upset that Rad Racer hadn't paid his speeding tickets, and his loudmouth has also some how turned the crowd against him, and after Rad Racer seems to be picking up a victory, the corrupt cop steals a win here. (*)
Reptile Ranger vs Pierre The Enormus - For a match so low on the card, this was great. Reptile Ranger taunted Pierre The Enormus early in the match, scaring him away with his signature snake (and crocodile?). However, Pierre took advantage towards the middle of the match, and Pierre took home the win from there, but the fans were not dissapointed in Reptile Ranger at all. (****)
Michael T Wolf vs Skullgore - Not much can be said here, except for the fact that the fans really like Michael T Wolf, and hate Skullgore. T Wolf wins. (**)
Auntie Voodoo vs Pincess Starbright - Auntie Voodoo decimates Starbright in an onesided battle.
Arizona Chance vs Dark Invader vs Buzzsaw (BB) - All three men had something to prove tonight, with a shot against Jet Set Strutter at the Super Duper Show on the line. They all went at a huge brawl here, and after the Dark Invader was eliminated from action, we saw a brief friendly battle of action between Arizona Chance and Buzzsaw. After Dark Invader knocked Buzzsaw out the ring, Arizona Chance hit the Last Crusade to claim his title shot.

Sunday Night Slam Boston Arena (Week 2)
Haka Tonga vs O'Hooligan - Although the fans were loudly on the side of Haka Tonga, it seemed he was no match for the devious O'Hooligan who surprisingly got a clean victory in the opening bout. (**)
The fans are treated to the Executioners and Mr Tycoon backstage. The trio ramble on about how great they are for a bit, to quite some boos from the rowdy, sold out crowd. (***)
Juan Tijuana vs Iron Mask - Juan Tijuana and Iron Mask wrestle to a great match in the middle of the card. Both men go back and forth, using what ever they have in the arsenal to take victory here. After a few ducks and dodges, Tijuana hit the flying forearm for a victory over Iron Mask.
Pierre The Enormus is seen backstage, with Dr B. The two seem to be benchpressing, and are laughing and talking about how bad Pierre The Enormus destroyed Reptile Ranger last week, well mostly Dr B is doing the talking, and Pierre The Enormus is focusing on lifting weights and grunting as Dr B continues to talk. (***)
Shop of Horrors vs The Insectoids (TAG TEAM TITLES!) - In the main event, this was a very onesided battle as Keith Blood and Slashmaster of the Shop of Horrors, the current tag team champions absolutely decimated Mike and Mark Bugg of The Insectoids, and made a statement for all of the tag teams in Gladiators of the Ring to remember. Weekend Wrasslin' Golden Plaza (Week 3, Jan)
Starting at tonight's show, we see Red Pirate Rogers at O'Hooligan's Pub. O'Hooligan announces he will be challenging Arizona Chance in the main event, and tells Red Pirate Rogers he will be the first to get a title shot, and claims that Arizona Chance is giving him nothing. Rogers answers and tells O'Hooligan that Rogers is his best friend and he would never betray him. O'Hooligan agrees, then smashes Rogers witth a beer bottle, to send a small message to Arizona Chance ahead of their main event matchup. (DUD!)
Evil Empire vs Juan Tijuana and Haka Tonga - This was a major showcase match for the team of Evil Empire, Death Starboy and Dark Invader. The two combined their vicious singles work for a one-sided victory over the fan favorite team of Tonga and Tijuana.
Chameleon Kid vs Mercenary - In a very well battle for both men, Mercenary's usual style of technical wrestling was defected multiple times by the aerial work of Chameleon Kid. Both of these men wrestled to gain the interests of Mr. Greenhorn, but Chameleon Kid wins the match tonight. (***)
Following the great matchup, we see Mother Russia, Hammerhead, and Brit Buckingham coming down to the ring with Russia and British flags respectively, waving them down to the American crowd who are chanting U-S-A at these three. (**)
Arizona Chance vs O'Hooligan - Arizona Chance was heated the moment this match began. Chance ran down to the ring the moment his music played. He began beating the crap out of O'Hooligan, and shockingly finished him off in such a one sided match. Following the match, Arizona Chance and Jet Set Strutter stared down. (*)

Super Duper Show Windy City Complex (Week 4, Jan)
Reptile Ranger vs Pierre The Enormus (TV TITLE!) - This was a rematch from three weeks ago, this time Reptile Ranger's TV Title on the line. It was a brawl between Ranger and Enormus, and Ranger held his own. Towards the end of the match, a clothesline to the outside spilling both men out by Ranger lead to a double countout, and Ranger keeping his belt, not in fashion he wanted though. (***)
After the match ended, we were treated to a segment of O'Hooligan's pub. O' Hooligan said that Arizona Chance was supposed to well, be interviewed here before his match against Jet Set Strutter, but it seems he's gotten "hurt." Nevertheless, O'Hooligan brings Ace Arcadium onto the pub. Arcadium says that he will be back in action soon, and is interupted by the loud mouth, corrupting official Officer Chip. Officer Chip insulted Arcadium, and the two agreed for a match at the next Superstar Saturday.
O'Hooligan vs Haka Tonga - O'Hooligan headed to the ring after his pub segment ended, and the two brawled. O'Hooligan and Haka Tonga despise each other, and O'Hooligan pulls in yet another victory over Haka Tonga, once again much to the fan's dismay. (***)
Back after intermission ended, we see The Valedictorian coming down to the ring and entering the crowd, it seems he is about to rally up the fans, but then he swerves them all and starts insulting any fan he sees. Starts getting heated, so security comes down and assists Valedictorian back over the railing before anything starts. (***)
House of Shops vs Neon Express (TAG TITLE!) - The Neon Express were intent on winning back the Tag Team belts, but even with their intelligence to outsmart their opponents, they could not take down the stronger Slashmaster and Keith Blood who now retain their belts yet again. (***)
Jet Set Strutter vs Terry Van Winkle (WORLD TITLE!) - In the main event, it seemed to be all Jet Set Strutter on paper, but Terry Van Winkle fought to prove himself, and for his family. It was a pretty good showcase for Van Winkle at the start, but when Strutter gained control, things started going south. Despite Terry's best efforts, a six-figure leglock is all Strutter needed to retain his belt and walk out champion of the Chitown Complex tonight.

Superstar Saturday Golden Plaza (Week 1, February)
Bug Buster vs Big Thuggee - Big Thuggee dominated most of this match, up until a quick rollup from Bug Buster won him the match. (*)
Ace Arcadium vs Officer Chip - Very onesided affair on Arcadium's side. Everything Officer Chip said he was forced to bite, as Arcadium easily won the match against him, and his first match of the new year. (*)
Robolectro vs Brit Buckingham - It seemed that Brit Buckingham didn't have a chance here, as all of the fans were chanting U-S-A at him, and had him distracted. This gave Robolectro the chance to attack, unleash his arsenal, and win with the Sci-Fi Slam. (*)
Mother Russia vs Glam - Oddly enough, Brit Buckingham's ally Mother Russia didn't have much of an issue, and instead finished off Glam in dominating fashion.
Arizona Chance vs O'Hooligan vs Dark Invader - Dark Invader is once again in line for a World Title shot, as well as Arizona Chance who was injured last month, and everything points to O'Hooligan being the one who injured him. This is a match of O'Hooligan and Dark Invader working together, but once their ego's clash, this gives Arizona Chance to overcome a 2 on 1 assault. It seems that Chance is going to win yet again, but Dark Invader comes from behind and chokes Chance, then connects with a Star Destroyer for the win, and a now shot against Jet Set Strutter. (***)

Sunday Night Slam Golden Plaza (Week 2, February)
Starting off the show is Terry Van Winkle and Mr Tycoon standing in the ring, for an arm wrestling contest?! Mr Tycoon attempts to bribe Terry to lose, but Terry grabs Tycoon's money and tosses away. Tycoon is livid. The two do the arm wrestling contest anyways, and it looks like Van Winkle is winning... But Tycoon breaks free of the grip and clotheslines Van Winkle down. Tycoon beats up Van Winkle, and then throws the equipment on him, leaving, angry. (***)
Anti-Americans vs The Insectoids - This was a fair tag team battle, nothing special here. The Anti-Americans win this match. (**)
Iron Mask vs Haka Tonga - It seems like Haka Tonga has been on a string of bad luck, as he can't rally together the crowd nor his highflying abilities to help him defeat Iron Mask, who wins with ease. (**) Once the match is over and both men are the back, Zap and Boombox of the B-Boys come down and perform a live concert in the ring for the fans, but they seem to not be that thrilled by the performance these two are putting on.. (DUD!)
Ace Arcadium vs Exotic Rick - In the main event, both men put on a great battle. Multiple times you had no idea who was winning this match. After a failed Exotic Awakening attempt was made, Arcadium hit the 8-Bit Breaker and won the match, celebrating with the fans after it was over. (***)

Weekend Wrasslin' Boston Arena (Week 3, February)
Cutthroat Carter vs Slammer Johnson - Carter makes relatively quick work of the baseball star. (**)
Following the end of our opener, we were treated to an interview by Honest Al with Ace Arcadium. Honest Al did all he could to get the truth out of Arcadium, and indeed he did. Arcadium explains that he's had a lot built up, and is glad he's been able to put the cocky likes of Exotic Rick and Officer Chip out the way so he can focus on bigger things. Arcadium finishes off the interview by saying that he is going after Jet Set Strutter, and soon he strives to win back the World Championship that was stolen from him. (***)
We don't get to the wrestling just yet, because right after Honest Al's interview with Ace Arcadium, the camera pans to a graveyard. The graveyard shows the tag team champions, Slashmaster and Keith Blood walking through it for a good while, it is a creepy scene, but the fans do seem to like it. (***)
Neon Express vs Big Money - Enormus Pierre and Mr Tycoon of Big Money dominate most of this match. Although Chet Skye and Jessie Wild do seem to get some moves in, they are still no match for the big duo of Tycoon and Pierre, who make quick work of the Neon Express. (**)
Madam Tiki vs Countess - In the main event of the evening, we see the fan favorite Madam Tiki, who has risen to the top of the ladies ranks here in GoR, only to recently have lost her belt to Mother Russia due to some "unexplainable tactics". She's seen here going up against the newcomer lady in GoR, Countess. Madam Tiki uses experience and strength to gain good control in this match, but Countess nails a huge lariat, followed up by the Great Opression to pull off a suprising upset in the main event. (**)

Valentine's Day Massacre Boston Arena (Week 4, February)
Mother Russia vs Princess Starbright - This was a non title match, as the current ladies champion Mother Russia defeats Starbright in quick fashion.
House of Shops vs Haka Tonga and Juan Tijuana - The tag team champions went up against the innovative duo of Juan Tijuana and Haka Tonga. As the match went on longer, it seemed that Tijuana and Tonga had no chance, as the combined team of Slashmaster and Keith Blood easily wore them down, and took the victory, retaining their belts. (**)
The Shark vs Death Starboy - This was a very well battle, as the fans cheered on The Shark against the wrestler they once loved, Death Star Boy. This match went on for awhile, and with Dark Invader not in his corner, Death Starboy did not really thrive against his arch-nemesis, and thus lost the match.
Arizona Chance vs Johnny Kobra (CRUISER TITLE!) - Arizona Chance and Johnny Kobra both went to the limit. This is the action the fans ask for when seeing Cruiserweight title matches, as both men brawled and showcased even some high flying moves. A botched roundhouse kick from Kobra gave Chance the well, (no pun intended) chance to take the victory and retain his belt. (***)
Backstage, we are greeted to the trio of The Valedictorian, The Queen of Mean, and Copper Commander all rambling off about how great they are and how those three will take over GoR in the future. (***)
Jet Set Strutter vs Mighty Leo - This match came to be when Dark Invader decided to wait out his world title match, and Mighty Leo stepped up to the chance. Throughout the match, the fans were fully on Leo's side, as "MIGHTY LE-O!" chants filled up the already loud arena. Both men went back and forth forawhile, but no matter what, Leo couldn't get out the Six-Figure Leglock and thus JSS retained yet again. (**)

Superstar Saturday Boston Arena (Week 1, March)
Cesar Sleaze vs Rad Racer - This opening match put between these two was all Sleaze. (*)
Arizona Chance vs Vladmir The Cruel - Arizona Chance heard Vladmir The Cruel talking some trash, so he formally challenged him to a match here tonight. Vladmir The Cruel was dominating, but he truly couldn't finish Chance off, and thus the victory goes to our Cruiserweight Champion. (**)
Zen vs Brit Buckingham - The cocky brit had the advantage for quite awhile, but suddenly took a pinfall to Zen, costing him the match. It looks like Brit Buckingham isn't holding his own in this British-Russia alliance. (*)
Auntie Voodoo vs Countess - Before the match began, Countess wasn't looking at her best, perhaps some of the voodoo..?! Auntie Voodoo took control early, and unlike Countess's match with Madam Tiki, she did not take control, and Voodoo took the victory afterwards. (*)
Ace Arcadium vs The Valedictorian vs Dark Invader - For a shot at Jet Set Strutter next week, these three brawled. Despite the fact Dark Invader already had a set title shot for whenever at this point, he still wanted to win. After a point, Ace Arcadium worked with his rival Dark Invader to take out The Valedictorian, so they could go at it themselves. After Ace called for the 8-Bit Breaker, Death Star Boy came down and attacked Ace. This gave Valedictorian the chance to hit a flying elbow drop on Dark Invader, but Arcadium fought off Death Starboy, grabbed Valedictorian and finished him off with an 8-Bit Breaker to get his rightful shot at the World Title. (**)

Sunday Night Slam Boston Arena (Week 2, March)
Dangerzone vs Soul Daddy - The showcase of this match wasn't Soul Daddy punking Dangerzone, it was just the comments Soul Daddy made to the crowd whenever he was about to do a move over Dangerzone. Nothing happened here except for well, a Soul Daddy victory. (**)
After the match, we are yet again seen in the Graveyard. The tag team champions, House of Shops drag their titles down through the dirt, as they visit the many graves of the tag teams they have taken out. The eery scene ends with the two looking down at an empty grave, awaiting their next challenger as they laugh, for an uncomfortably long time. (***)
Neon Express vs The Executioners - Chet Skye and Jessie Wild went at it to the absolute limit with Mercenary and Spazz, these four went back and forth, battling over and over. It was an even battle, and no one knew who would win. After a torpedo dropkick was caught into a powerbomb by Spazz, Mercenary was able to drop Jessie Wild down and lock in the Canadian Cloverleaf for the victory. (***)
When the match was over, we were treated to a scene at O'Hooligan's pub. O'Hooligan invited Arizona Chance on, and the two shared some interestiing words to each other. Then came down Copper Commander who insulted Arizona Chance, and the scene didn't go well, as O'Hooligan and Copper Commander both bullied Arizona Chance, then attacked him! (*)
Ace Arcadium vs Jet Set Strutter - In the main event, we had two men aware of the stakes for the World Championship. Two men that very well wanted it a lot. Ace Arcadium and Jet Set Strutter battled back and forth. Arcadium pulled out some of his best moves, as well as Strutter. It looked like we would be seeing a huge upset, as a failed knee drop lead to the 8-Bit Breaker! Arcadium had Strutter down for the count, One! Two! Three-! Only for Strutter to have his leg on the rope at the very last minute. Arcadium went for another one, but Strutter hit Arcadium with the low blow. Grabbed him by his legs, and pulled him in for the Six-Figure Leglock, leading for Strutter to retain his belt, in one of the best matches of GoR's history. (****)

Weekend Wrasslin' Boston Arena (Week 3, March)
Chet Skye vs Rad Racer - This was a fun opening battle between two fan favorites, the match ended after Chet Skye hit his signature Torpedo Dropkick, and both men embraced when the match ended. (***)
Buzzsaw and Copper Commander stood in the ring, for an Arm Wrestling contest. It went on, and Buzzsaw beat Copper Commander with ease! Copper Commander stood there, embarassed and angered, and thus he nailed Buzzsaw straight in the jaw when he wasn't looking! Copper Commander brutally beat Buzzsaw down, until we heard the music of Arizona Chance! Chance fleed the ring, and Commander ran out the ring, running to the back. Arizona Chance knelt by Buzzsaw's side, checking on him. (***)
Big Money vs Nerd Alert - There was really no chance here for Nerd Alert, as the team of Big Money, Enormus Pierre and Mr Tycoon easily defeated them in quick time. (**)
After the match ended, we saw Ace Arcadium sitting at O'Hooligan's pub. O'Hooligan asked Arcadium quite a few questions, and Arcadium wasn't looking too happy. O'Hooligan started piling up on Arcadium, and bullied him throughout the pub. Arcadium, angered, and unfocus left the pub as O'Hooligan laughed off at him as he left. (**)
Exotic Rick vs Reptile Ranger - In the main event, we saw Reptile Ranger defending his TV Title against Exotic Rick. This was an interesting clash of styles, and after hitting a middle rope elbow drop, Rick picked up Ranger to finish him off with the Exotic Awakening to win the TV title off Reptile Ranger. (***)

March Madness Chitown Complex (Week 4, March)
Exotic Rick vs Haka Tonga - Starting off the show was Exotic Rick's first defense for the TV title. Not much happened here, but up at the ending, Haka Tonga reversed an Exotic Awakening for a backslide to upset Exotic Rick in his first defense and become new TV Champion! (**)
O'Hooligan formally invited Ace Arcadium back on to O'Hooligan's pub. O'Hooligan began telling Arcadium he was sorry, and offered a sincere apology. When he went to shake Arcadium's hand, he spit straight in his face and Copper Commander hit him from behind with a stool! Copper Comander beat down Arcadium as O'Hooligan yelled out insulting words at Arcadium. Then ran down Arizona Chance and Red Pirate Rogers who scared the two away, then ran down to the ring for their tag match. (**)
House of Shops vs The Adventurers - The veteran tag team of Arizona Chance and Red Pirate Rogers went against the tag team champions, putting up a fair battle. However though, the two were no match for the House of Shops, who used their brutal style at their advantage, in order to retain their belts yet again in a great tag team matchup. (***)
After the match, we are treated to O'Hooligan talking to Spazz backstage about something. No one can really tell what it is, but some people are thinking it involves Arizona Chance. Spazz nods and then goes off to manage his tag partner Mercenary for his upcoming match. (***)
Mercenary vs Reptile Ranger - This was a great match and everything you would expect from two of the best wrestlers on the roster. Reptile Ranger wrestled with a vengeance, as he just lost his TV Title a week ago. Both men battled, and despite Spazz's efforts to interfere, Ranger hit the Down Under DDT on Mercenary to win. (***)
Jet Set Strutter vs Dark Invader - The fans don't like either of these two men. They wrestled back and forth, using each other's tactics against them, but it was Jet Set Strutter, who managed to take the win anyways and retain. (**)

Superstar Saturday Golden Plaza (Week 1, April)
Goblinknight vs Dungeon Crawler - Dungeon Crawler went up against his doppelganger Goblin Knight, and surprisingly, Goblinknight was able to get in Dungeon Crawler's head, and steal a victory in the opener. (**)
Arizona Chance vs Spazz - It seems that the rumors about Spazz and O'Hooligan's talk was true, as Spazz went up against Arizona Chance here. However, he was not able to put Arizona Chance down, and was defeated quickly after the Last Crusade was executed. (**)
Skullgore vs Juan Tijuana - Juan Tijuana tried his best to thwart Skullgore, using his aerial tactics and technical prowess, but it just wasn't enough for the scary brute, who took Tijuana out with the Crossbone Body Block. (***)
Ace Arcadium vs Copper Commander - Finally, Ace Arcadium is back in action, and defeats Copper Commander here, a lot of rage showcased, maybe Arcadium isn't truly out of it all just yet. (**)
Mr Tycoon vs Haka Tonga - In the main event of the evening, Haka Tonga is a defending champion, and puts up his TV Championship on the line against Mr Tycoon. However though, Haka Tonga doesn't seem to have the same mindset he did at March Madness, and is defeated by Mr Tycoon, losing his belt after his first defense, much like the man he beat to win the title, Exotic Rick. (**)

Sunday Night Slam Golden Plaza (Week 2, April)
Soul Daddy vs Moon Man - The Soul Daddy gains yet another victory, defeating the astronaut in the opener. (*)
After the match, we see someone in a locker room, absolutely livid! The person is screaming and yelling, about how they got traded. The camera pans up to Slammer Johnson! But his look is different.. Wait, that's Slugger Johnson who just got dropped down to the minor leagues! He doesn't look too happy.. (*)
Evil Empire vs The Shark and Reptile Ranger - Death Starboy has brought in his tag partner, Dark Invader, and the Shark has found Reptile Ranger. All four men put on quite the match, and when it looks like The Shark is gonna call for the finish against Death Starboy, Dark Invader is the legal one and chokes The Shark. Dark Invader then hits the Star Destroyer, and Death Starboy gets out the ring to hold Reptile Ranger down as Dark Invader gets the three. (***)
Backstage, we see the Neon Express talking about how they are still a great team! (*)
Jet Set Strutter vs Robolectro - In the main event, Jet Set Strutter gives anyone a shot at his world title. Tonight, Robolectro steps up to the challenge, and puts up a good fight. Jet Set Strutter uses his usual tactics, but Roboletro seems to be a mile ahead! It looks like Robolectro is gonna execute a top rope maneuver, for the win, but then someone shoves him off the top rope?! Who is that?! It's, The Annihilator! The Annihilator stares, wide eyed on the apron, as Jet Set Strutter locks in the Six Figure Leglock on Robolectro, making him tap and he retains yet again. (**)

Cutthroat Carter vs Chet Skye - This was a great way to open up the match, as the highflying Chet Skye scores a win over Cutthroat Carter. (***)
Backstage, we see Rex Spectrum, who invites Brit Buckingham on set for an interview. Rex Spectrum asks Brit Buckingham some crazy questions, and jumps to many conclusions, making Buckingham freak out a bit, and then walk off stage, suddenly angry. (**)
After that, we are shown to a locker room. The camera is on the shiny Television Title for a bit, then on Mr Tycoon and Pierre The Enormus sitting on a bench, lifting weights and benchpressing for a bit. (**)
Conquer and Command vs The Insectoids - The two new teams rising on the scene go up against each other. Not much happens here, as Conquer and Command, truly do Conquer and Command in this match with an easy victory. (**)
Madam Tiki vs Queen of Mean - In our main event, we have Madam Tiki wrestling Queen of Mean. Early in the match, Queen of Mean cheapshots Madam Tiki and controls the first half mostly, using cheating tactics however. Madam Tiki builds up thanks to the fans, and powers back! Madam Tiki counters a closed fist punch with a shoulder block, and hits the South Pacific Splash to win in the main event. (**)
