I’m back after a 12-month hiatus. Forgot how much fun the game is and really enjoying collecting all the new cards/feuds etc again.
1. Custom feuds – Bit like custom teams where you say have 5 slots for custom feuds (single, tag, ladies etc) where you get a 1* bonus like a normal feud.
2. Custom tag teams (not teams) – Rather than have to put two wrestlers in a “team”, custom make a tag team, pick a tag name and get the relevant skill/mic/pop/push bonuses.
3. Auto Merch – Rather than having to click on merch table and then either manually add merch or auto fill, if you have max out a wrestler’s normal card, you automatically get their merch cash.
4. Double Merch for Foil – Max out a foil card, double merch.
5. Bonuses for feuds in Mic and Skit spots – An “arm wrestling skit” between Flawless and Jet Set 90s, while you’ll get the bonuses for them both being “rassler” and you can use the “shoot” or “cheer 5 / boo 5” managers cards, an added bonus for Flawless and Jet Set having a feud. This would be particularly good when using a face and heel in a skit/mic segment where you can’t use the good or bad manager bonus cards. So you could have an arm wrestling skit between Dude 80s and Pierre and still get a bonus for the “feud” as neither of them are rasslers.
6. The ability to permanently increase a wrestler’s skill/mic/pop stat. Not to the point where every wrestler can have 20/20/20 stats, but maybe once a foil card is maxed out, you can use a token to increase one of those stats by one or two.
7. A “Notes” button (would fit nicely under the STATS button on the home page) to keep track of your own storylines and plans for your fed.

I didn't reread all 44 pages of this thread, but I think we need an 80's Snake Plitzken from Escape from New York. Reptile Ranger is close in the 90s for Escape from LA, but the only other movies I get from Reptile Rangers 80s are Jurassic Park and Crocadille Dundee, besides the obvious Jake "The Snake" Robert's parody.

I know Krool = Drool but I wouldn't mind retconning that and Drool remains separate but Krool has two alts - Evil Dentist and 'Bigger Rigger' or something similar. 😆 Although I do like the idea that Krool has a backstory. Finally match types: * Spin the Wheel Make a Deal (it randomly selects a match type when the match begins) * Blindfold Match (for Reptile and Ricardo mainly) * Empty Arena Match (Foley vs. Rock in the late 90's) * Beauty Pageant (a bit sexist and outdated I know, but it is the 80's and 90's! Plus why can't we put the men in one?) * Tornado Tag (if such a match can be restricted to tag matches) * Pink Slip on a Pole (last official wrestling match created in the 90's, and could be used to forcibly send a wrestler away for a bit). |

Even though it's outdated we have characters references like Michael Jackson. Plus Evening Gown matches and Bra & Panties matches were common around the 80's. I remember watching this huge bra & panties battle royal in like 1988 or 89 I can't remember. |

Even though it's outdated we have characters references like Michael Jackson. Plus Evening Gown matches and Bra & Panties matches were common around the 80's. I remember watching this huge bra & panties battle royal in like 1988 or 89 I can't remember. I'm not sure with the recent real life events I'd feel comfortable going full bra and panties as it might be too far into exploitation... and I think whilst they did appear in the late 90's with people like Sable, Jacqueline and the ECW roster, I don't remember them being around in the 80's. Although if you saw one, I must have missed it. What fed was it in / who was involved? A 'Beauty Pageant' however is suitably 'Era authentic' I feel, although I have to be honest that I'm not sure I can overly remember one... If there was I'm sure Missy Hyatt would have been involved. I see a Beauty Pageant as the equivalent of the 'male' Posedown. And now I'm thinking of oiled up men in their underpants, is there a 'Weigh In' segment in this game? That was something I remember coming up more in the 90's / 00's but I seem to think Warrior / Rude did one or am I getting confused with their Rumble pose down? |

And then Cabbage sort of morphs into either / both as Cabb, whilst Magnus becomes Kurt Angle? You could also say he becomes Ultra Magnus due to his colour scheme but I can't deal with that reference now. |

I mean, Luna and Ivory are there, so they'd have made it work. Luna is in my top 3 women wrestlers ever and Ivory isn't far behind. And therefore even if the concept is theoretically out of vogue and perhaps even nowadays distasteful, I bet you it was a darn good match? Sounds like you have happy memories of it at any rate. So my knowledge on the AWA is shameful and I never realised they got there 10 years before the Double-You-Eff did. In other words then, yeah, it's thematic! I honestly never knew. I thought Sable and Jacqueline were the first, but, I know, that was naive, especially if you factor in Japanese wrestling... |

The Steiners, as much as they're not my personal cup of tea, are top tier tag and they should be presented as such. So unless Cabb and Magnus get upgraded to reflect it... and it makes it tricky with Magnus reflecting Angle. I suppose a third Magnus Alt in chain mail and obviously roided up might do the trick nicely though? Pat 'Rick' Cabbage becomes Cabb though and I think that rather covers Rick as he went off the rails in the 90's in terms of push. You could have the theoretical 'evil' third Magnus Alt be both a tag partner and have a feud with him. Throw in legally distinct Chucky somewhere somehow and you have WCW infamy. |
