Since I have recently started a new game+ and saw this subforum, I have decided to post what I am writing for myself anyway, and that's a description of the events in my fed. Hope you enjoy it
1979 – The Boardroom
- Board: "Our competition already began broadcasting their shows on TV. We need to keep up and get our show out there."
- Mr Fantasy: "I'm on it. But look, we need a catchy name to break through. Something that screams global, universal, grandious, spectacular... Something like... Wrestle World!"
...and now
January 1980, Week 1
Superstar Saturday at the High School Gym (great crowd), **
Announcer: To the folks tuning in at home, welcome to your new favorite wrestling show, Wrrrrestle Worllld. We've got a lot of action for you today, a new belt, and the first ever triple threat steel cage match in the history of this fed!
The opening match is between Max Attack and Johnny Kobra, two athletes with a preference for physical fighting, but different fighting styles. Johnny Kobra was trying to land his signature kicks, but the match was resolved when Max Attack landed his trademark Double Uppercut and got the cover. After the match, Star Boy and Mr Bonsai run into Johnny Kobra. Mr Bonsai says that he can be a great fighter if he lets go of his rage and starts to respect his opponents. Kobra pushes Bonsai away and Star Boy almost jumps at him but is stopped by Bonsai. The next match was between Doberman Dennis and Mad Arab, in which Mad Arab won by forcing his opponent to submit, exhibiting tremendous brute strength.
And tonight to mark our first broadcast on TV we are introducing a new belt, the TV title belt! And who better to give it to than to the winner of maybe the most memorable feud in the history of this federation. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Star Boy, accompanied by his mentor and manager, Mr. Bonsai, and Piranhaaa. In the match, Star Boy is bitten by Piranha and becomes enraged, blindly attacking, allowing Piranha to strike him with a few good counters and get a close two-count. At that point, his mentor and manager Mr. Bonsai signals him to remain calm, and Star Boy is able to focus, land a few nice counters into a suplex and finish up with a Flying Cross Chop for the win, becoming the Wrestle World first ever TV title champion!
Before the main event a chance to see the ladies in action. Both tough wrestlers, Countess and Sgt Shipley provided a good match and showed that ladies are not just for show, with the winner being Countess.
And now for the main event. Entering the cage are some of the best superstars in the federation: The Annihilator, Arizona Chance and He-beast the Barbarian. The stakes are high as outside the cage Mr Fantasy himself awaits with a voucher for a World Title challenge! The match is underway and the fighting is intense. Arizona Chance is the first to attempt the escape, but ooh, The Annihilator grabs him by the leg and slams him to the mat.
The Annihilator is on fire again, he clotheslines He-beast and grabs Arizona by his neck.. chokeslam!! But here comes He-beast with furious blows, he lifts The Annihilator over his head, Animal Slam!! Arizona is up and it looks like he's setting up He-beast for The Last Crusade, can this be it? Ooh and a headbutt from He-beast gets him free, now Arizona is in trouble, He-beast lifts him up and Animal Slams him onto The Annihilator!! He-beast is in the clear and heee's out of he cage! Looks like we have a contender! Tune in next week for more Wrestle World action.
Tv ratings: 1. RnR, 2. WW, 3. ABCW
