I've never decided to watch cricket so I can't put it on the list This list (you can change some of these) is a mix of personal* entertainment, fundamentals, accessibility, history, competitive nature, outside ability (stuff like mini games, some sort of flash ability, or any other thing that you guys can think of) and popularity (some more than others) My top 10 sports would be 1. Football/soccer 2. Basketball 3. Ice hockey 4. Racing 5. gridiron football/American football & rugby 6. Boxing 7. MMA 8. Aussie football 9. Tennis & golf 10. baseball

Crosby is definitely not the best player in the league right now. I think it is pretty undisputable that he is the greatest player of the Post-Lockout era, but he has peaked. Of course, when you’re that great, your “decline” usually lowers you to “very good.”

Anyone agree with this? #1 current NHL player- Connor McDavid He's carrying an average team - so yes probably. As a unit though, Gaudreau, Monohan & Lindholm are tearing it up.

I get the sense you are a Boston guy. I know this may surprise a lot of people, but Castle Goreskull is actually situated near Boston and so Skullgore's allegiance is to his hometown teams. That you say Boston has the best franchises in America, well, you're not wrong. 17 NBA titles, 10 World Series, 6 Stanley Cups, and 5 Super Bowls. Each team has won at least one championship in the past decade. Some of those championships are very personal to me. My grandfather was born about 6 months after the Red Sox last title win before the Curse and died just 3 months after they won in 2004. The ones after that are all special to me in their own way, so I've never taken a single thing for granted.
To say Boston has the most loyal fanbase of any city in the world is either delusional or hilarious - probably a bit of both. Oh no, the Patriots might have to actually have to play in the first round of the NFL playoffs. The sky is falling! The city has become so spoiled with success that it almost makes me ashamed for these to be my teams. They turn on a dime over the slightest hint of failure. Even when you take each team's fanbase by itself, I'd be surprised if I'd rank any of them as the top 5 most loyal fanbases in their respective leagues. The Bruins base is the most tolerable. That's probably a result of them being in the least popular sport of the Big 4 and probably the ones that have had to endure the most suffering (understanding that the people who were alive and remember '67, '75, and '86 make up the minority of the current Red Sox fanbase.)
I'd be interesting in hearing your argument for Boston being the most loyal, though.
