I was thinking it looked like a combo of mid-90’s, pre-HHH Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Lawler. So until we get the update, I’m calling him King Vlad and assuming he’s a 1985-94 tweener alt of VTC. Also, that’s definitely the Astrodome in the background. Concrete, circular, domed. Great addition. Do a Google image search for Mid South Coliseum. Makes sense they would release a Memphis arena at the same time they release a Lawler inspired character. Good additions for sure. I’m not seeing any crossover with HHH or Harley Race, this looks like a pure Lawler inspired character from the physique, crown, cape, tights, face.

I wonder if when fulfilling achievements it unlocks some sort of prize... Maybe an "Achievement Points" system? Maybe you can either cash in the points for game cash. Or turn them into plusses to push or skill. Skill Training is probably my idea of a wrestler using a card specially designed to guarantee an increase in the SKILL stat. Not a 100% guarantee, but any increase is better than none. It could also be, well, a special boot camp you can send wrestling cards to (run by a Sargent Slaughter parody), but then wrestlers sent there will not be available for anything for that period of time. Also, you might have to spend game cash to do so.

"Itty bitty ditty bag." I probably should say that before someone else does so. Can anyone tell me where the quote is from?

Deffo a Lawler inspiration...but the outfit is very Egyptian inspired I think. Thinking maybe a cross between Lawler and King Tut from Batman.

There has to be a tag team between "Lawer" and Pop King in the 80s, and with King V in the 90s.
Kings Of The Ring, and Ring Rulers.

The new venue looks just like the mid-south coliseum and it makes perfect sense to put it in the game alongside a Lawler inspired character. Here’s hoping we get the astrodome in a future update though!

The more I think about the Skill Training, the more I think it’s going to be an option to pay for a point upgrade to avoid grinding. If that’s the case, I certainly hope it’s a tiered monetary system (it would cost more to upgrade Mercenary from 16 to 17 than it would Jupiter from 7 to 8) rather than a blanket token cost.
What are your thoughts? How do you all think the Skill Training will work?

You send a wrestler to train for a certain number of weeks and they are unavalable for that period of time Probably we can choose the training intensity and the more intense the training the more chance the wrestler has of evolving but the injury chance is also higher

How’s that for an internet first— a guy actually changes his mind when presented with new information! To be fair, the Astrodome picture I saw on a Google Image search was about 97% the same. It makes sense, since the Astrodome was built in 1961 and MSC in 1963. But MSC is 100% what’s in that image.
