So I just started playing tonight. Next thing I know it's two hours later. I was just messing around and after reading some tips I started over and went with with Wrestle World and Mr Fantasy instead of RnR and the cheapest GM and started 1980. I then stated over again to check out the 1990 mode and realized a card I just bought (Ric Flair) look a like wasn't playable in the 90s version.
So a few questions - will I eventually get to the 90s and unlock 90s cards and 80s guys retire? Or we just play with the same set (80s) until whenever.
Also how do I get new cards? I used the cheat codes and unlocked a few more. Just curious how new cards come about?
Thanks!

Some 80s cards carry onto 90s while others get a gimmick change. To get more cards you need to go to the shop which refreshes every 12 hours and the devs release about 2 new cards every month for 2 tokens but if you wait a month they will be released for their normal price. Like if it was a midcarder it will only be 10,000. If you check the bottoms of cards it will tell you their active years and how long you’ll be able to use them for and how long you will have to wait. I know Theres a wiki but I don’t have the link.

Thank you! That's good to know it'll play into the 90s and I'll get those characters as well. Now makes me wonder of I should have started in 85. One more question on the cards there's a blue and pink heart. What does that mean?

Thank you! One more question. In the shop there is a Valley Girl card, I already have her, but it will allow me to buy her. Is there a reason why?

Valley Girl is also available as a manager, which means you can have her stand in another (bad) wrestler's corner to increase their odds of winning the match.
You can also buy a foil version of every wrestler, which is a version of the card that has increased stats

The red and blue heart thing is to mark cards you plan on using a lot. The mark makes them visible or invisible depending on your choice in the main menu screen.
Considering you have just started, you shouldn't be too concerned with them right now. They are helpful only if you have tons of cards.

Thanks again guys. Think I'll drop $5 a day and try to get all the legends. I have like $60 in Google play credits from doing surveys and I never had the credits.

One more question regarding Heel/Face Turns. Can I always revert back? I don't have enough big time heels and was going to make Jet Strutter turn heel and feud with Average Guy.
Thanks

I do think Foil cards are worth it, but when you are just starting out it might be better to focus on buying regular cards first. Hold off on getting the foils until you have maxed out the stats on the regular version of that card.
You can revert back whenever you want, but it will cost you another token. There's already a Bad version of Jet Set Strutter in game, it'll turn up in the shop eventually.

Already have like 8 hours of play time. Haha. Any way to save/backup in case phone bites the dust or something?

Yeah, just make sure you are connected to a Google or GameCenter Account. If you log in to that account on a different device all of your data should be there.

If I turn Alt Jet Jet Strutter heel, will the feud with Average Guy Alt work or I have to have the exact Strutter card?
