Jan. 1983  - Superstar Saturday;  Debut Episode-Sold Out!

Opener: Mark Bugg w/Mike Bugg d. Cletus Mullet w/Zeke Mullet at 6:05(*)
Quick opener to start us off.  The Bugg Brothers(also known as the Insectoids) are a crowd favorite.  Never able to capture the tag team championships despite several chances, and even matches of the year candidates.  Cletus and his older brother Zeke are on the lower tier of the tag teams in this promotion.  Its a back and forth match with Cletus being hammered and not being able to get ahold of the quicker of the 2 Buggs.  Zeke trys to assist but miscommunication leads to the quick Cootie Shuffle and the easy win for Mark Bugg!

2. Arizona Chance d. Johnny Kobra at 17:33(**)
A hotly anticipated match!  Arizona Chance has been a top main eventer in ABCW since the companies inception 2 years ago.  A former TV Champion and several time World Champion.  He is facing Johnny Kobra.  Kobra is considered and overlooked worker, the longest reigning TV Champion in company history, he's moved up to the main event scene to see if he can get the same luck.  Its a back and forth matchup.  Both men have similar styles tho Kobra is more of a quick kick submission wrestler.  Johnny comes close with the roll up into the cross arm breaker but Chance is able to roll him into a bridge for the 3 count.

3. BRUTE w/Big Boss Jr. d/Doberman Denny at 10:11(**)
This is the debut of Doberman Denny, an english strongman looking to make an impact.  His opponent is the giant of ABCW BRUTE.  The crown jewel of Big Boss Jr.s Diamond Studds stable.  The big men begin a test of strength,  after being pushed to the corner, Denny begins to shockingly overpower the monster.  A kick low gives BRUTE the advantage.  Clubbering forearms and powerslams keep Denny down.  A corner charge is missed, and Denny takes over.  Several running clotheslines get the big man rocking, until finally a massive running shoulder tackle takes him down.  Leading to Denny lifting the big man up for the Powerslam until BB Jr. screams at Doberman, allowing BRUTE to scratch Dobermans eyes and hit the BRUTE FORCE Backbreaker for the controversial 1 2 3.

Chet Skye w/Jessie Wild d.  Big Thuggee w/Lil Thuggee at 7:12(**)
 Chet and Jessie form the Neon Express, one of the top tag teams in the company.  The Thuggee's combine to make the devious Slave Drivers.  Big hits Chet with a clothesline for the heat.  After Thuggee hits a big backbreaker, Jessie begins to fire up the crowd.  Leading to a big comeback by Chet, Lil tries to take out Jessie but gets caught with a crossbody by Chet, and Chet rolls back in and hits the running dropkick for the pin.

Main Event. TV TITLE MATCH: TV Champion:Devin Van Winkle d. Dizzy Lixx at 13:22(***)
ITS MAIN EVENT TIME!  A pretty big one at that.  Devin Van Winkle has been on a massive winning streak and is a familiar face in ABCW.  After him and his brother Damons reign as the longest reigning tag team champions ended due to Damons injury, Devin found his calling in the midcard.  Chopping down and defeating(and unintentionally injuring) the Powerhouse known simply as Mr. B for the TV Title.  He's had 3 defenses against Lil Thuggee, Herman the Nerd and Cesar Sleaze(Lixx's Partner).  Lixx's tag team partner Cesar is banned from ringside for this matchup.  These 2 have a strange chemistry.  Even back in the tag team wars the Van Winkle Brothers and the MetalHeads would have, these 2 always stood out.  Things start quick and shocking as Lixx hits the running knee he calls the Guitar Riff for a shocking kick out by Devin.  Lixx stays on offense with uppercuts until Devin reverses a powerbomb attempt by landing on his feet and nailing a codebreaker for a 2.  Lixx gets battered for a bit before reversing a brainbuster into a ddt for a 2.  Dizzy goes to the top rope for a jumping ddt but gets caught with the Van Winkle Claw, caught in the middle of the ring Lixx has no choice but to tap out.  Devin Celebrates with his belt as the crowd cheers as the show goes off the Air.

Jan. 1983 - Sunday Night Slam!

Opener: Zap d. Papa Chopper at 6:22(**)
TV Champion Papa Chopper is preparing for his title defense at the Battle Royale PPV with a simple and in his mind easy matchup with the dancing fool Zap.  Surprisingly Zap takes the advantage early with a couple of quick jabs and a drop kick to Papa.  Though that doesn't last long, a big sickle of a clothesline turns Zap inside out for the heat.  Big slams and a powerslam and Papa Chopper sets up for the Chopping Block heart chop...then Doberman Denny's music hits.  The distraction allows Zap to schoolboy Chopper for the massive upset!
after the match Denny comes out and chuckles at Chopper as he throws a tantrum.

Dramatic Promo: Arizona Chance
Commissioner Chance comes out to a big pop.  He says that the upcoming Battle Royale ppv's 10 man battle Battle Royale will be for the number one contenders spot for the world championship.  He announces the competitors for the match:

And finally.....himself!  Leading to a massive pop!  He vows to win the battle royale and bring prestige to the World title yet again!


2. The Insectoids d. The Mullet Brothers at 13:05 (**)
This is a follow-up to last weeks one on one opener.  The Insectoids start off hot and tag team Cletus Mullet and hit him with some great tag team offense of double clotheslines and tandem leg drops.  Before Mike gets cut off and Zeke is tagged in.  Zeke is the better of the 2 Mullet brothers due to his size.  He clobbers Mike in the corner with big shots and a big boot.  But before he can hit a big splash in the corner, Mike moves and Zeke drills Cletus.  Mike drills a superkick and crawls over to Mark for the hot tag.  Mark runs wild and knocks Zeke down with running forearms and finally ending with a tag to Mike and the double cootie shuffle finishes the Mullet Brothers.

1 on 1 W/Honest AL
We cut backstage to Honest AL with the number one contender for the world champion Devin Van Winkle!  Al asks Devin what his strategy will be for the dominate world champion Mr Tycoon.  Devin says he has seen Tycoon run rough shot ever since hes arrived in ABCW.  Undefeated since he's arrived, he knows it will take every last ounce of effort and blood and sweat and tears he's got in his body...but he WILL be the new World Champion by the time Battle Royale goes off the air.

MAIN EVENT - Mr. Tycoon d. Damon Van Winkle at 15:54(**)
Tycoon comes out and flaunts the World title around ringside.  He cuts a very quick promo, Saying the people may boo him...they may boo him for not being a giant muscle bound thug(Dr. B) or a butt kissing lover of the people(Arizona Chance)....or a Stupid southern Hick(Devin).  They boo him for being the absolute best this company and this business has ever seen.  And he will prove that right now!
Damon comes out with a stern determined look on his face.  The Match starts slow with Damon taking tycoon down to the mat and headlocks him down.  Tycoon gets out but Damon turns it into a german suplex for a close 2.  Tycoon goes to the outside.  Damon tries to hit a baseball slide but Tycoon moves and slams him into the ring post.  Tycoon begins to work the back.  Nailing him with massive knees to the back.  Locking in a camel clutch.  Damon manages to crawl to the ropes.  Tycoon throws him into the ropes damon ducks and drills Tycoon with a big discus clothesline.  He then lands a massive middle rope knee drop for 2.  Damon goes for the Van Winklw Plunge but his back gives out.  Allowing Tycoon to lock in the Money Maker and Damon has no choice but to tap out.

After the match, Tycoon refuses to break the hold until Devin comes out and Tycoon flees.  Devin takes care of his hurt brother to end the show.
