not in my opinion. The shield was way more entertaining & benefited everyone. The Nexus kinda failed, was entertaining, but got ruined pretty quickly, & didn't really create any new stars. With the exception of Bryan no one went on to find big success. The shield was a better version of Nexus imo. But that's my opinion, it's fine if you like Nexus better.

SHIELD was successful, I've always viewed them as a better version of the Nexus. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Nexus fan, but I just don't think they're anywhere near as good as The Shield.

They were successful and there were some awesome moments but the booking in general didn't make a lot of sense. They had the whole think with cm punk that stopped with no explanation. Then you had the us championship reign of dean Ambrose where in he never defended the title. Finally you had the rollins betrayal which was cool but the revenge of roman reigns and dean Ambrose was just really weird. It didn't make any sense.

I agree on the U.S. title thing, but but they were booked pretty good in my opinion. They had great rivalries, were booked dominate, had AMAZING chemistry, & the betrayal was unexpected, it happened at the perfect time, when no one expected it & everyone thought Ambrose would betray them. Although I'm disappointed we never really got a big shield WrestleMania moment. I still think they should've faced Wyatt's at wm 30.

IMO WWE has never properly booked any factions since the end of The Monday Night Wars, with possibly the exception of Evolution, and even then I felt they could have done so much more with them than they did.
