I could spend an hour and a day talking about the 80s. I was 13 when they started and 22 when they ended, so it was a VERY formative time for me.
As far as wrestling goes, there is only ONE clip that matters. When this aired on Saturday morning, I was immediately on the phone with my friend asking if he saw it. Never before, and never since have I marked out the way I did when this went down.

Being born in '86, I had to learn all about the 80's. I know I would have been the biggest wrestling fanboy. So many characters. So much fun.

I could talk about alot of things I loved and miss from the 80s, but I'll focus on gaming.
In retrospect, it was awesome to live through the evolution of arcade games. I grew up in a shore town with a boardwalk filled with arcades, so I never had to nag my parents to take me to one...it was always a short walk away. And seeing the change in graphics from simple composite shooters like Asteroids through full color games that had unique characters and required strategy like Punch-Out, it was just an amazing time to be alive. And now, arcade gaming is a nostalgic thing found only in the rare "museum" type of businesses that are like a full-fledged flashback, due to home gaming...which is something else I've had the wonderful pleasure of witnessing evolve over the decades as well.
Sure, it might only be entertainment I'm talking about rather than something more substantial like communications (remember when all we had were landlines and operator assistance for making international calls?), but it was still loads of fun and it had a real impact on our society.
