I've been playing for a couple months and just realized the other day the money it tells you was made from a show does not include the cost of the venue (not sure why I thought it would) . Once I went back and looked I was losing money on some of the bigger shows . It seems like almost all the profit comes from sponsors and merchandise . The past few days I've only been booking shows at the fairgrounds and occasionally the ballroom and the profit is much better than using the bigger venues . Seems kind of lame though .
I know the answer to "how do you make money" is to spend real money to get coins , but I feel like maybe I'm missing some critical piece of the puzzle .
For the grinders out there how do you make money - is it all on the small venues ?

That's a good point , spending a coin for a commissioner seemed like a waste but I suppose over the course of 4 shows a week over 10 years you come out ahead

That's a good point , spending a coin for a commissioner seemed like a waste but I suppose over the course of 4 shows a week over 10 years you come out ahead It really is the only way to make enough money to build your roster. Consider this, one token = $100,000 - enough to buy one main eventer. With the $1000 bonus from the commissioner, you get a guaranteed $208,000 to spend per year. Now you can buy 2 main-event cards... and get that amount to spend another 9 times over. It is absolutely the best thing to invest your free token in.
