In the current climate, Chad Gable is the one that stands out for me as MASSIVELY underused and underrated.
Plus pretty much everyone that goes from NXT to the "main" roster.
Historically there's been loads, but one of my all-time favourites (as in underrated) was Lance Storm.

Lance storm idk if he’s been underrated.. only person I can see who doesn’t think he’s one of the best ever is Matt Riddle and what’s he know 🤷♂️ Chad gable though Ab So Lutely Kid has everything Everything And ain’t got no chances but least he’s got multiple title reigns

American Alpha should've been this generation's Steiner Brothers. They were great together. But main roster booking, as usual, screwed it all up sadly.

Agree with Gable for sure.
Disco Inferno was a hell of a worker and always made me laugh, whether he was dancing in between moves, “forgetting” how to do his submission move, or getting the crap kicked out of him by someone twice his size. A true entertainer.
Heath Slater is another horribly underrated guy. He could be entertaining as a face, heel, and always made the other guy look like he was a superhero.
Brad Armstrong was tragically underrated, and should have had many Midcard title runs, but his problem was he was such a good worker that he was always put in situations where the other guy was better on the mic— he could hang with anyone in the ring, but WCW’s top guys at that time were all pretty much legendary talkers— Flair, Rhodes, Arn, Tully, Kevin Sullivan, etc. Brad was downright charismatic when compared with the Von Erichs, but he was in the wrong territory to stand out.

It’s really hard to call a lot of wrestlers underrated when their characters have so many accolades

It’s really hard to call a lot of wrestlers underrated when their characters have so many accolades of course. But I think someone like Kendrick was underated. He held the tag titles for a really long time, but he's never really reached his full potential imo. I think he would've been great as IC or U.S. champ.

I think that Dustin Rhodes is criminally underrated as an in ring performer and a personality. He was incredibly athletically gifted and innovative. Immersed himself in the Goldust persona in a way that that in my estimation no one else could. Thankfully due in no small part to his tremendous match with Cody this year (a solid MOTY candidate for me) he's gaining the interest of a younger generation of fan.

This is my favourite Disco Inferno moment. Still makes me laugh to this day.

Can't help but notice that no one brought up willam regal or Shelton Benjamin they both are to an extent. But Shelton was a top midcarder. Regal, I truly believe should've won the world title.

Seems like Regal was on his way to getting the world title but then popped on a drug test for steroids at one point? Or something like that?
