I totally miss the arcade experience. One of my favorite memories from growing up was going to Pizza Hut on a Friday night with my mom and brother and getting my free Book It personal pan pizza award. Then playing the WWF Superstars game they had in the lobby. The totally sweet one where your makeshift tag team would ride to the ring on those mini motorized carts that looked like wrestling rings... you know, like they used at a few WrestleManias. I never did beat the MegaBucks. Hmmm.... wonder how Mr. Tycoon and Pierre the Enormous would do as a team? Sent from my SM-G900V using proboards I too have fond memories of the Book It pizzas. Unfortunately my Pizza Hut didn't have WWF Superstars. I got my first taste of that game at a camp ground with my friend's family quite a few years later.

Mega Man 2 was the best.

I played for countless hours on that game when it first came out.

In the arcade I preferred Pac Man, Star Wars, Pole Position, and Galaga. For NES I was all about Ninja Gaiden, Metroid, Tetris, and Contra.

I actually got a used copy as a birthday gift one year and really probably wasn't as appreciative as I should have been. Hopefully I wasn't rude but I thought it was weird for someone to give me a used game for a gift and had no idea what Mega Man was, much less Mega Man 2. I played it, sucked at it and then probably didn't touch it for a few years. Once I went back to it I realized how amazing it really was and how equally amazing the soundtrack was. My friend and I actually recorded the soundtrack onto cassette tapes.

Mega Man 2 could very well be the greatest video game ever made. Mega Man 9 was really good, too, it really captured the essence of what made those games so good.
Super difficult, though.

1992 & 1993 me and my buddy would spend HOURS playing ToeJam & Earl on the megadrive/Genesis whist consuming unhealthy amounts of junk food and soda in a darken room. I wish I could go back and spend one care free weekend reliving that.

I wish I could go back and spend one care free weekend reliving that. New ToeJam & Earl drops this Friday. I was a very early backer of the Kickstarter and to know that this thing that took a few years to complete is finally going to be available in a matter of days is pretty exciting. I’ve got so many good memories of that game like you do.

Chucky Egg on the CPC 464.
World Cup Soccer (there was a European Club edition of this too), Turtles, Final Fight, Pole Position, WWF Superstars and WWF Royal Rumble at the arcades.

Gauntlet at the arcades was badass...but Pit Fighter was an "allowance eater" if I ever saw one.

I remember playing Dragon Warrior and Might and Magic. Still to this day I can get lost for hours in RPGs.

Despite what the kids these days will try to tell you, the 80s produced the best video games of all time. What were some of your favorites? Sent from my SM-G900V using proboards What became of this guy? Was he future endeavoured??
