Despite what the kids these days will try to tell you, the 80s produced the best video games of all time.
What were some of your favorites?

I totally miss the arcade experience. One of my favorite memories from growing up was going to Pizza Hut on a Friday night with my mom and brother and getting my free Book It personal pan pizza award. Then playing the WWF Superstars game they had in the lobby. The totally sweet one where your makeshift tag team would ride to the ring on those mini motorized carts that looked like wrestling rings... you know, like they used at a few WrestleManias.
I never did beat the MegaBucks.
Hmmm.... wonder how Mr. Tycoon and Pierre the Enormous would do as a team?

NES Pro Wrestling. That's what opened the door for me when it comes to wrestling games altogether.

Hmmm.... wonder how Mr. Tycoon and Pierre the Enormous would do as a team? We may or may not have created an official tag team card for this duo that we plan to release during the first big card update.

I loved Mat Mania. Mania Challenge had some improvements, such as defensive moves, but really needed more characters.

Will we have to start over from scratch? We'd have to discuss more with the development team to get an exact answer, but new cards added to the Shop (like new wrestlers or managers) should be able to work with existing saved games, but new unlockables (like tag team and feuds) might require a restart. This is all a couple months away yet regardless.

A restart as in just starting a new fed? That I can get behind.
A restart as in reinstalling? I don't want to lose all the monies I put into the game.

Galaga, Tempest, Asteroids and Pole Position were favorite arcade games. As far as wrestling games, I LOVED Tag-Team. I had an Atari 2600 as the 80s started, but I don't know if I could pick a favorite. River Raid was cool, as was Yar's Revenge.

NES all day long. By far the best 80s gaming system... nay, the best gaming system of all time!
Personal favorites include anything Mario (just not #2) or Mega Man, Legend of Zelda (just not #2), Maniac Mansion, Tecmo Super Bowl, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, World Cup Soccer, Pro Wrestling, Marble Madness, Excitebike, TMMT (just not #2), Castlevania (just not #2) and Double Dragon (actually only #2 this time)

Mat Mania was where it was at. Console games are unreal today, but the social experience/jungle that was the video game arcade was an entirely different beast.
Nintendo...there's a reason for the 8 bit love. Nintendo Pro Wrestling. Super Mario. Contra! Mike Tyson's Punch Out. Timeless classics.

For NES a few personal favorites are Mega Man 2, Ghosts & Goblins, Double Dragon, Battle Toads and Contra, though I can honestly say I never beat any of them.
